@CoreyEXE Two yellow cards is an automatic red card so not sure why they would take the effort to change the second one down to a yellow if hes getting taken off the pitch anyway
My favorites were 1:26 and 1:37. Both of them use hands outside of the box and both are surprised that they got red-carded. Also, the one at the end where he played dead.
Yep! Handling the ball like that outside of the box is usually considered denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and hence an automatic sending off.
This video is a clear example why DOGSO should be a penalty kick even when it happens outside of the box. If you are in the 91st min of a big match you are leading by 1 goal and someone gets on the breakaway like that, it makes tons of sense to purposely commit DOGSO outside the box and be sent off to preserve the win. If the other team gets a penalty regardless then it makes a lot less sense.
@@Valpo2004 the problem is though that rule would have to be applied consistently, you can’t just give a penalty when it’s 90+Stoppage Time and you bring down someone in scoring position outside of the box and not do it in earlier parts of the match when the same scenario happens. You’re already getting punished by being down a man it makes little sense to make it a double whammy punishment if it occurred outside the box.
@andrewburgemeister6684 I am ok with making it just a pen. Keep in mind that the current rules have a double punishment if it happens inside the box. My feeling is that while taking the opposition down a man hurts them, it's not as bad as conceding a goal, especially if it's late in the match. So I believe that if the call is DOGSO, it should be a pen even if the foul occurred outside the box.
Alisson's Red Card was reverted to yellow, correctly I would say. His high boot was unintentional, he just meant to clear the ball. But the Ecuadorian forward put his head in and risked it.
3:09 was so bad, the keeper was under no threat, didn't underestimate the bounce, and could've just waited for the ball to go into the area. I understand the others at least trying to stop a guaranteed goal
@@Mutzig79 It was red and then Brighton took a very cheeky free kick following the red and scored because Adrian was still setting himself up. Adrian did make a game saving save towards the end as well.
Outside the penalty area, I slipped on the ball with my feet and covered my chest with my hands and the ball hit me. They said that I contacted the outside because I am a goalkeeper, do you think the decision is correct?
i know this is late but if you slip accidentally and touch the ball outside the area then that shouldn’t be a sending off imo because it’s not intentional
Nope it's a correct decision, since he took the Ball into the hands, even though the Ball hasn't entered the box. And no, it doesn't matter if the GK is standing in the box.
You're clearly not if you're not used to them being a bunch of dirty cheating bastards. Oh, but being a Rangers fan, you will be blind to the truth and delusional like all of them
Long time goal keeper here......some of these red cards were a bit harsh. You are taught from a young age that part of being a great goal keeper is to make yourself as "big" as possible when one on one. Part of that is arms spread wide .......instinctively putting your arms out to shield the goal should not result in a red card.
3:30 That's not a red card in my book. A tackle that is just a bit late since the strike just pushed the ball uncontrolled to the side. Not a injury prone tackle and the defenders would've saved it, so he wasn't the last man.
@@josephgreen6531 Good thing you are not a ref. So by your logic if a player gets the Ball and then karate kick the opponent in the face in the follow through its just a yellow🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
how is 1:02 a red card? yes he kicked the player in the back, that wasn’t his intention, but the other guy was too close to him and the keeper hurt his leg as well. that shouldn’t be a red though
I don't play football and know anything about it...but the keeper gets a red card if he catches the ball outside the D? I thought that a keeper was allowed to touch the ball?
you can’t touch the ball outside the area with your hands, if you clear the ball with your legs or your head then it’s not a red, the keeper is meant to protect the goal so the goal and the rectangular box as well. you can’t catch the ball outside the area otherwise it will be a red card
The Ball was not in the Box, so the GK touched it illegally and quickly dragged the ball towards him to make it look like that he catches the Ball inside the box.
They should change the rule for goalies to handle it outside the box, that's unfair... Unless they time waste but imagine getting a red just to save the game.

0:39 Alisson: *receives yellow card*
I thought it was a yellow when I saw it!!
That's because Alisson is not a legendary goalkeeper

Allison only got a yellow card when the tittle says legendary goalkeeper red cards.😂
It was red I’m pretty sure it just looked yellow
