great just what I needed! Of course if you dont have connectors you can get the same or similar effects by wrapping paper strips around the 'pipe' to get that look. I have used the flexible straws too...theyre good for bends.
I got mine awhile back at the Dollar Stores but they are usually seasonal item. They don't carry them in store and online all the time. I found some on amazon and get those when I ran out. Here's the link amzn.to/2HCATzP
5thElementSandwich I'm assuming that the joints and elbow pieces of the DIY straws you got are made of a rubber type material. It's literally impossible to paint it with acrylic paint without doing any prep work. So my trick there is to wash it in liquid soap. After drying I apply a coat of liquid glue to the surface where paint will be applied. Once dried, paint application should be good.

Great video about piping! I found the diy straws at Walmart for $2.50, however I'm having trouble painting the joint sections. Any advice?
