You got a new subscriber here. I REALLY like the way you explain every single material you use even if they look obvious. For one reason your video explanation fits perfect for all those who are thinking about starting a new diorama project or even start their first one. I am on the last one because I consider I have the skills to do some and not to screw it. Keep sharing your knowledge in the same way because there is someone here who really aprecciate it.
hey thanks alot my friend, really glad my message was conveyed the way was hoping it would, really thank you and appreciate you for watching, means alot to me. together lets keep this diorama art form alive =)
Do yourself a favor and buy a pvc pipe cutter. It's cheap and will make your life so much easier if you do this a lot. Thank you for the tutorials, they are spectacular.
I like plumbing so it don't make too much since that there is a pipe going straight up but to have it turn inside it would look a little bit more realistic
Yea I agree, maybe I should have done that, but I remember I did it this way as that time was because I didnt have anything to elevate the pipe to stay flushed when the pipe turns inside
Hello Patrick, I am from Philippines and planning to make a diorama for my action figure toy collection. It's like taking an diorama course class while watching your videos. Waiting for more new videos!
Ah that would be nice, but remember to create a good frame for it to the 2nd floor might not be able to hold it's own weight, good idea thou, good luck 😊🙏
@@xuereb2867 hmm good idea, but always remember to create a way to make sure you can take your dio apart for easy storage, my dios have taken over most of my space and it's a mess, hahaha
Haha which is why I believe sometimes we need the right tools for the right occasions, haha I would have done more intensive piping designs if I was able to cut them faster 😂
Sorry I do not have a link for this because I have no idea what are these called, it is a 1/6 scale mini table lamp "brand less China item" from a dollar store, but I'll try to include the link if I do come across it online
Hey thank you my man, anyway that light piece is a mini table lamp that I modified, not sure what it is called but I got it from the dollar store, will add a link if I happen to find it online
Gabe Blums thank you very much for your inspiring and humble words, will work harder on my videos and try to come up with more content, thank you very much for watching 😉🙏🏼
Thank you again, your work is very inspiring!! You have awesome editing skills, something I know nothing about lol. Looking forward to more of your videos and keep up the great work!!!
Hi there - what a great tutorial. Can you give me more info on where I can order the "kids straw set" from. I live in South Africa and there's nothing like that available here, so I'm gonna have to order it from overseas. Many thanks. regards, Carl
wow now this is the hard part, i actually got mine from Toys'R'Us, or maybe you can try their official website, i am from a country where online purchases are still considered "conservative" haha so i hope u understand i cant help you much as i do not know too much myself, but really thank you for watching =)
I have answered a few about this, this is a mini battery powered table lamp, and it's sold in certain dollar shops in my country in Malaysia, I've has questions from some people from Ecuador and canada who claims that they have never seen or heard of this mini table lamp, so it's hard for me to explain, hope u understand 😉 as there is no brand or no proper packaging, basically I use the mini table lamp, I remove everything except for the top part and just create a hole on the wall and stuck it in, hope that helps 😂 or even better, look for me on instagram, send me a message and I will reply u with the pic, best I can do 😉👍🏻@patrickohm_dios
swifty it's a mini table lamp, not sure if you can find it, I am from Malaysia and I got mine from a dollar store, the switch and the light and the a battery is on the head itself so all I did was just trim of the unwanted parts and just hot glue it to my dio 😉👌🏼
oh no, i was sanding out the words printed on the plastic, "item code, pipe brand, and logo". maybe it cant be seen on video but i really have to sand that part out. haha
Danish Alim good question brother, I was stressing out with this issue before last time working with polystyrene foam, ok there is actually two ways, First method : I use another type of smooth surface foam and paste it on the polystyrene to make it thicker, then work on the smooth foam. Second method : I use pva glue mixed with chalk dust and then apply it like wall seal, or u can use wall seal, and just paint the whole board and then sand it to make it smooth, I hope this helps
Or to make things easier, I will share this in my next video, I will be creating the ground for this dio that I'm currently working on, so I will show you how I archive the smooth look, give me a few days 😊🙏🏼
Brilliant 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks alot my man

Where do you find the correct tamiya bearing?

I work in HVAC.. I use my pvc ratchet cutter . Cuts quick and ends are smooth as heck

swifty hahaha you can also try mini table lamp key chain
Why do you sand it down first and than add black paint. Might as well leave the sanding part out.
