- Telluride is a popular ski resort area. It's a beautiful and expensive town up high in the San Juan Rockies. This video gives you a short tour around town, then traveling SR-145 to the south to Mountain Village (on the south ridge above Telluride), Ophir and Rico. All of these towns were gold mining towns. The video is loaded with beautiful mountain scenic views, and a treat at the end. Enjoy.
