Random appreciation comment, I started watching your channel when I was 11 years old and I loved your commentary and coaster ranking videos (ride on BGW!!). Now, Im 19, a freshman in college studying engineering and seeing your videos now just fill me with the same joy I felt as a kid. It’s amazing seeing your massive growth as a channel with all the amazing, quality content you’ve been putting out. You guys are awesome!!!
That’s awesome!!
i am a litiral copy of you because im also studying engineering and i started watching when i was 9 and now i am 15
@@nicegnome9335 studying engineering at 15? Ok
Literally the exact same story here, started watching early on and now I'm finishing up second semester as a mechanical engineer!
I bet Canobie Coaster would be happy if he saw this. (Since he rode it in its last couple of years as Scandia Screamer)
Canobie Coaster has an excellent video of what it was like when at Scandia Amusement Park.
I rode this as the Scandina Screamer! Fun ride!
That second to last turn before the final brakes is brutal
I’ve really grown to appreciate e&f miler coasters. Even the kiddie coasters. They make look scketchy but they’re actually pretty smooth for the most part
This ride had a surprising amount of airtime
I’m so happy you enjoyed it. I’ve ridden this ride 17 times and counting and I loved it every time
Sarah: "Remember that it's a dead buffalo, then it gets sad"
Taylor: "Yeah yeah, it's like hilarious" 😂
Glad this ride lives on! Many Rides on the Scandina Screamer with bonus Airplane Head-choppers.
These little coasters always scare me a bit more than the large permanent ones at six flags or cedar fair
Love this ride when it’s was at Scandia. I have more then 40 rides on that thing. I love it ❤
Just rode it. In row 3, 😊I couldn't stop laughing. Back row slammed a little bit too hard. REALLY loved this ride.
I have to admit I'm glad it was restored and has been given new life. I half expected fun spot to snag it up so they could have one at each lol. It looks like a lot of fun I 100% agree with Sarah on hurricane (also rode its mirror image a lot b4 it went into the ocean during sandy 2012).
would never have thought to go ride this, I will be sure to check it out next time I head to Six Flags over Texas
Sometimes it's the jankiest coasters that are the best
This coaster has a special place in my heart this was the first large scale coaster I had ever ridden. And I've ridden it many times when it was here in Cali. Till this day I'm still heavily into coasters.
Kind’ve glad that Sarah said it hurt because that was my experience on Scandia Screamer - but not because of the lapbar; it was because of the piledriver landings.
So strange with the bison and the unusual trains + gloomy weather. Looks like it’s out of a weird dream. Like how janky it looks
I rode SS back in 2007. It was at night with very little light so it was really fun, but painful restraints.
Used to be located like 10 miles from my house, glad to see what was once a childhood ride being used elsewhere.
woah! That looks crazy! I don't think I would ride it bc it looks janky lol
It’s not. It’s super smooth and awesome.
That thumbnail tho
I grew up and lived within a half hour or so of Scandia Ontario, and drove past it almost daily for many many years. I never stopped in to ride it. The day I heard it was closing was the day after it closed. I was sad and felt dumb. But when I heard it was being resurrected in Texas I was extremely happy, and I rode it the week after it reopened. Redemption was mine! And it’s SUCH and awesome coaster, the best creation E&F Miler had ever built!
Awesome. Did not knew they moved it. I loved riding it every chance I got when it was in California. Good to know it lives on somewhere and more people can enjoy it!
Crazy thing about this ride. Built by Miler. Scandia asked them to build something that looked like Colossus as Magic Mountain. They also built the greatest wild mouse ever built at Adventure City. Tree Top Racers. Unfortunately it no longer exists. Glad to see the old Scandia Screamer thriving.
There was a roller coaster that used to be at Scandia California that looked just like this.
*True story*
My lap bar actually shot back up on top of the lift-hill, but thankfully I was able to immediately pull it back down myself😮💨
Looks better and more fun then el toro
I rode this when it was in Ontario. I great cred!!! Miss that janky little park! Great Videos thank you for the hours and hours of entertainment
bro I live right across the street from this ride. can't wait to go on it
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Looks like an experience 😂
I’m sad it’s not in Ontario anymore, I lived 40 minutes away and I’ve never been able to ride it, but glad it found a new home
Fiesta and OT trip soon?
I wonder how this compares to its little brother, Hurricane at Fun Spot Atlanta
I do NOT remember that animatronic bison being there in December. Dangit now i need to go back and ride it again!
I guess I will go give this a ride this weekend haha
😂😂😂😂I rode it when it was in Ontario, California years ago...
Rode it a couple of months ago and this thing is rough but has ejector airtime and serious head choppers
did not realize that this was so close to me, now i guess im gonna ride it
I guess I rode oke of these at Canstadter Vasen in Germany, Stuttgart
It was very smooth actually for such a roller coaster
Don't think so, afaik E&F Miler have basically zero roller coasters exported outside of the North American continent. I think what you might have ridden would be a ride model known as the Schwarzkopf Wildcat. A much older German designed ride from the 1960's. It's still really popular at small amusement parks and travelling fairs in both Europe, North America, and several other amusement parks across the world. I know 2 of the ones on German fairs are called "Rock and Roller Coaster" and "Alpen Coaster". Looking up the Cannstadter Vasen fair on google images I do see a few pictures which has the "Alpen Coaster" in it so it might have been that which you rode.
@@drdewott9154 yes your right I forgot it actually was one of their wildcat model, thanks!
Rode this thing for the first time a month ago and oh man it is one of the few rides to leave me with bruises. Was laughing hysterically the whole time though
This coaster looks very silly
I think for fun, roller coaster intensity should be ranked by Sarah's hair, like at 1:57 here (lol). The great thing about no hair is, this isn't an issue for me. The downside is my head looking like Mars if I don't wear a hat.
Grew up riding this at Scandia. The head choppers were craaaaazy
ParksBros did an amazing "Save the Screamer" video back in the day about this coaster.
Yup! Scandia was off the 15-fwy at Jurupa Street in Ontario, CA. I use to take my daughter there for miniature golf. That land is now just another boring warehouse.
Taylor in the thumbnail image 🤣
so basically you enjoy this more than arie force and lightning rod. we have officially entered bizarroworld.
You have to ride devil's mine at fort fun, it's soo crazy!
Seeing the forward POV and based solely on how the cars look, I kept expecting it to spin
Wish it was still in Cali so it was close but glad the ride got saved so I can ride it one day.
do either of you think it is the best e&f miler? i'm thinking of maybe going this year
Also i know its not a coaster but have you guys tried medusas spinning wheel slide thats by far my favorite ride
I got to ride this in Ca and it looks like time (and relocation) is catching up with it, while it is good I must say it doesn't hold a candle to its brother the Hi-Miler, I wish that one would come out of hiding, it was truly insane
0:40 same here
How do you have the time to always be traveling and at theme parks? Are you employed?
we need this on the EU fairs
It's the sideways whiplash at 1:44 🤕
You can actually see titan at sfot from the lift. Look left
the track's movement when the train is going over it looks scary
Hi hello Costa studios friends how you feel been wow that ride is awesome 👍 stay safe my friends love you guys ♥️.
Looks violent but fun!
Hurricane really scares me so I'm excited to ride this thing. I hope the brakes on this one work though
For some reason, I didn't find Hurricane to really offer any airtime, not even floater pops. Do you know why that may be?
i agree with the rest of comments! It looks very janky but cool
How’s the construction of palindrome and circuit breaker doing?
From what I’ve heard, they are still not vertical yet
Can You Ride Griffon Next
Has anyone told you guys
That you are super cool?
is it 50 degrees at the end of April in Texas?
It was a very unusually cold day in North Texas on Sunday. A weird cold front moved in, but states further to the north were far warmer than Texas, on that day. I was at SFOT that day, and it was so empty. Ride ops were almost begging people to stay on the train and ride again.
Better then ir?

Very fitting to have a janky roller coaster at Traders Village, possibly the jankiest attraction in all of DFW. It’s like a permanent carnival.
Rode it 3 weeks ago
“best new roller coaster”
cliffhanger??
in all seriousness, i rode this on opening day so it was very slow & cold, but i really enjoyed it! glad y’all liked it!
Are you all going to Fiesta Texas
not on this trip
How tall is it? …compared to Hurricane?
When did you guys go to Texas? Was it about 2 weeks ago?
This was filmed yesterday
That is a damn good title card lol
Also, 2:27 hi Reddit
So is this a temporary installment?
No
E&F Miler trying to make a good ride (impossible challenge):
You cant call this a true pov as you keep flipping it around so you cant see the pov part
