Absolutely love this video! I'm from Canada where we have -30 Celsius winter 6 months of the year so the climate is not dry at all. Really enjoy watching your channel because it makes me feel a little better about my rust bucket. It's getting some body work and a fully rebuilt 1uzfe v8. maybe one day ill travel down to the southern states and pick up a clean chassis but for now its rust repair on mine!
P.S. I think a more in depth video about the rust repair he is doing on the 86 would be awesome. maybe its not a lot of peoples cup of tea but I love watching people restore old cars especially Toyotas!!!! cheers lads.

The polyurethane foam in the chassis rails are to add structural rigidity to the car's frame, you could also fill the roof pillars with the stuff to increase it's strength the foam is very strong.
slick_ej6 indeed, the Japanese did an awesome job with that chassis in japan, it was incredibly stiff when it was still in one piece. arguable how good it is in the long term for rain draining in certain places especially on a road car. I’ve seen a few rot because of it and some appeared to be just fine. It’s Luck of the draw really...
