Wow this was incredible to watch! As a Former Professional Divemaster I know how difficult it is to do even 1/5th of that depth without fins. She’s amazing. 💙💛

Kateryna Sadurska - a Ukrainian from the city of Kharkiv, has been engaged in water sports for over 23 years. During this time, she managed to conquer the European and world championships, as well as set a national diving record. During the 2022 World Championship, Kateryna won the championship in two disciplines: diving without flippers, as well as free diving on a rope. After the competition, she returned to Ukraine, to her native Kharkiv, where, to the sound of sirens and Russian bombings, she prepared for the next competition - Vertical Blue 2023. And this year, Kateryna was able to conquer the most prestigious freediving competitions.

there are FOUR disciplines of depth freediving 1) FIM 2) CWT 3) CNF 4) Bi-fins
so there are currently THREE WR holders at Vertical Blue 2023 by Garmin
1) Fatima Korok of Hungaryy 102m FIM, 2) Katerina Sadurksa of Ukraine 76m CNF, 3) Alenka Artnik of Slovenia 109m Bi-fins. These three strong and amazing ladies are all here and all set these respective records at #VB2023.
The only WR holder right now in depth who is NOT here is Alessia Zecchini of Italy 123 CWT.
So YES you can have 4 WR holders at the same time.

@makkeyn Тим паче, що ви пишите про рекорди в різних дисциплінах, а Катерина встановила рекорд в постійній вазі без ласт (CNF - Constant Weight Without Fins). Попередній рекорд серед жінок належав Алекссіі Цеккіні Італія - 74 метра в 2018 році. Діючий рекорд серед чоловіків - Вільям Трабрідж - 102 метри 2016 рік
