Actually, it's a Willie Nelson song. Waylon recorded it in his album "This Time" but the same year Willie it in his album "Phases And Stages".
@@willienelsondiscography6735 Waylon is my favorite singer of all. But I remember hearing Willie's voice when I was I child and feeling like his voice was very calming and comforting and honest. They really both have fantastic recordings of this song.
A few years back I loathed country music, then I saw Matthew Houck(phosphorescent) at End of the road festival. He & his band changed my mind instantly.
