Good video. I would like to see how the Sigma does with the R10. Everyone on RUclips tests it with a R7, which has a higher Mpx sensor.
The Sigma IQ was fantastic with my Rebel SL3, which has the same Mpx resolution as the R10.

I do have occasional access to an R10, never did formal tests but aside from the lack of stabilization and even greater end-heavy imbalance than the R7 the Sigma did take fantastic photos on the R10 as well. I still believe the RF 24mm would be better for that body though (especially for video) unless the user really needs the zoom range.

@Postosuchus the RF 24mm looks neat for an R10 indeed. Though I already have the Sigma 18-35 so I can't justify the cost for now. Maybe I could sell it? Would that be a good idea? I don't wanna regret selling it haha
My R10 is coming, I don't have it yet. So I don't know how I'll like (or dislike) the size of the Sigma + the adapter

@@carlosreyesf19 Since you already have the 18-35 you’re presumably already used to its weight and balance on the SL3; I think the R10 + the adapter weighs a little bit more than that and the R10’s grip is deep and very very nice, so it’ll probably handle the lens better as well.

@@Postosuchus according to Google, the R10 is actually 70 grams less than the SL3. So adding the 110 grams of the adapter, the combo is only 40 grams more haha. Not too bad, though it will look big regardless.
      Thanks for your insights!

@@carlosreyesf19i use the 18-35 on my R10. It feels solid, a bit front heavy maybe, but you can easily carry it around like that
The grip of the r10 is also plenty for the lens. I think ergonomic wise its better than r7. You won't regret pairing those two up

I’m trying to get into portrait photography and i’ve been looking at this lense but would it be good with the r50?

It’ll be extremely front-heavy on that tiny body but as long as you have a good tripod you should get some beautiful images out of it. I have next to no skill with portraits but the few I’ve attempted with this lens came out wonderfully. I’ve heard good things about the sigma 50-100 f/1.8 too if you lean more headshots.

SUPERBBBB Video i have a cannon R50 with a 35 mm rf 1.8 prime…considering getting this lense or considering selling the r50 and getting an R8 and skipping it.. i use it for gym videos and photos and RUclips content…I’m leaning to get the Sigma..

This Sigma’s great for sure, but if you do get it I hope you have a sturdy tripod cause it’s pretty top-heavy, I imagine even more so with your tiny R50!

Yo pensaba que el sigma 18 35 era muy superior a las lentes rfs por ser de la linea art ... estaba pensando en adquirirlo pero ahora no se si sea una buena opción 😢

Canon's RF lenses are generally quite sharp compared to older lenses, but they don't have 1.8 zooms or bright wide-angle lenses for APS-C. It's still a great lens despite it's age, but the upcoming Sigma RF-S lenses might compare more favorably against Canon's RF!
