Some air gets reintroduced when installing. Is that air better removed by; pushing fluid up from caliper to reservoir, Or the usual all the way down to the caliper? And is there danger of introducing air into the ABS module?

Why not place the syringe on one of the open ports first and extract the air and maybe some brake fluid out through the open port. Then fill the syringe with fluid from the reservoir and pump the fluid through the same port to finish getting the air out. Cap off the port and repeat the process for the second port. Seems like it would make a lot less of a mess that way. I might try this or the vacuum bench bleeding method. The method that uses the tubes to pump fluid back into the reservoir is for the birds.
I just bought a master cylinder for a 1970 Chevy. The bleed kit was those 2 plugs. Will this video adequately show me how to bench bleed my master cylinder?
***** came off a LATE MODEL '92-'99 ALUMINUM OE STYLE GM TRUCK TYPE MC- MASTER CYLINDER #MC8126 I found the caps by luck will the tool work for that master Cardone 10-5000MCB
***** My 66 Caddy had a wheel cylinder slowly leak over the winter,I cleaned it up and bled it,a lot of air came out but the brake pedal still hits the floor.The master cylinder was very low at first but I obviously topped it up prior to bleeding.Could my master cylinder need bleeding? Thanks

The master cylinder need to be level out. Use a level .Lift the back wheels.ask someone to push pedal while you watch the bubble. Dont push all way the pedal. Plug the port also Most autoparts store dont cary these stringe. For more question Insra @keep_m_running
The quality of A1 Cardone rebuilt master cylinders suck. I personally have replaced three master cylinders all on Chevy trucks and 2 of them I got as the Booster/Master Cylinder assembly and ALL 3 master cylinders LEAK at the reservoir tank grommets. The most recent one I replaced I had to take back off the vehicle and return it to the auto parts cause it would NOT push fluid to the rear brakes and further inspection revealed that it wasn't even doing a full stroke when the brake pedal was depressed, exchanged it for yet another cardone master cylinder and installed it only to find out this one leaks at primary port for the front brakes. The flare nut is as tight as I can get it without stripping the threads and still leaks like a water fall during brake application. I think Cardone could spend a little more thoroughly inspecting the cores they receive and focus on providing LEAK FREE rebuilt units for the price of replacing them and being charged a core fee until you install this junk and take your original back to get your core deposit returned.
Cardone Industries I'm having the same issues. Bought a cardone master cylinder for my k3500 Liked it at first..... Put it on and I'm suffering from the same problem as before. Leaking fluid from the rear of the cylinder. Didn't leak while bleeding and still doesn't while hand manipulated. But I can only push so far on the piston IDK if it's the MC or the hydrobooster causing this. But it is a hindrance. Since I don't have a way to get to work now......
This doesn’t make any sense, using cardone’s tool I can understand that, what I don’t understand is after you inject the fluid in to it, do you empty out the master cylinder in order to release it in to the primary hole. Cause the master cylinder is empty.🤦♂️
+Gary Kovach listen carefully. its says on STEP BORE type MCs: each stoke should be 1 inch or less and HOLD EACH STROKE for 20 secs". Then "WAIT 30 secs BETWEEN strokes" to allow quick take up valve to refill. Then "keep bleeding until no more bubbles are seen and you can't depress the bore more than 1/8" " ( then you know the bleed is complete) . I suggest just getting the bleeder tool 10-5000MCB.... SO MUCH easier. Instructions are in the box for the Syringe/ bleeder tool for all MC types.
Just dont push it all the way.... And pushing all the way..you gonna get tired really fast anyway..this bleeding process can take some minutes @keep_m_running
