Today, I tried making these but instead of blueberries, I used chocolate. I encountered a couple of problems when making it my way. First, I tried to warm up the butter in the microwave, which I counted out correctly, but I ended melting it too much. Majority of it still had its form, but it was still a little too melted. I mixed the correct amount of sugar with the butter like in the video, but instead of an electric mixer I used a whisk. The butter cream formed nicely, but the next problem was with the eggs. I still used a whisk to beat the egg butter cream mixture, and I beat them vigorously, but by the time I had poured all of the egg mixture in, the batter wasn't as formed as it was in the video. I had thought this was because I didn't beat it hard enough and I didn't have enough sugar, so I added more sugar and beat it vigorously several times more with the whisk, and then I used the electric mixture. But it still wasn't as formed as it was supposed to be. So then I thought maybe it could change with the flour and baking soda part. I added the flour, although it was slightly more than it was supposed to be, and the correct amount of baking soda, and the batter was too sticky. I added some more butter, a tiny more amount of egg, the milk, and the vanilla extract, and it was at the same consistency as the video, so I thought it was okay! But then I cooked them. The batter did not rise to a peak like in the video, and it was very soft. When I took it out at the designated time, It tasted uncooked and had a strong egg taste... For the most part, it was this egg taste that displeased me the most. I'm used to my baking failing, preparing it and cooking it, although I was hopeful that these Muffins would be successful. I suppose I didn't add enough vanilla extract and baking soda. So, with the leftover batter I had, I added more baking soda and vanilla extract. It cooked more terribly than the last. The first batch dipped inside of itself just a tiny bit, but the second batch dipped too deeply in itself, so much that only the inside circular edges of the muffins were well cooked. It was as though I had cooked the muffins correctly and then scooped out the middle with a spoon. It was truly terrible. I don't think if I cooked them for longer that the second batch could be saved. Oh well. It seems tgat when it comes to cooking desserts that use eggs, I will always fail to make them the right way...(;´∀`) I am not trying to say this is a terrible recipe! I am just recounting my experience cooking this recipe for the first time to you guys! I have much love for Apron and their cooking, and I look forward to their dessert recipes (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧! If you guys can tell me why the muffins might have dipped into themselves like they did, please tell me! I am very interested in knowing why! Thank you for reading my post and have a good day! 💝💝

Hi,cake flour is more delicate than all purpose flour. can try to make, for every 1 cup of all purpose flour remove 2 Tbsp of flour,and replace 2 Tbsp of that with cornstarch
