The Alberta varies year to year. The 2020 is 132 but the 2021 is 127.4. I love this stuff.

The Alberta Premium is made in my city of Calgary, AB. It’s incredible at cask strength and absolutely horrendous when proofed down to 40% for the standard release. Glad you guys like it!
I appreciate Jamie's palate as an addition to David's. She comes up with details that are different from David's and that kind of variety is why I tend to watch WhiskeyTube channels with more than 1 reviewer. I like a bit of dimension to the commentary. Kudos for continuing to grow your channel!
This new Jack BP Rye release blows me away. I’ve found two different single barrel bottles and they’re both incredible, I think it’s even better than the bourbon. Great video.
I just found a 140.9 proof one for Father's Day. I can't wait to try it.

Alberta is amazing, very light very tsaty on the lighter spectrum (citrus, flowers)... but the JD single barrel got me to drink JD again... it is so flavorful, so solid.... tasty tasty
get a store barrel select Knob Creek Rye, (Mission wine and spirits 6th floor sweetness) and it will compete here, 120 proof, and so flavorful..... Its almost on par and might be really on par with the JD Single BBP
Nice one guys. Worth mentioning that the Alberta Premium is the only one in the group with a 100% Rye mash bill.

I bought a bottle of Knob Creek Limited Edition Cask Strength Rye on a whim in route to a crab boil/bourbon share in VA because the bottle looked interesting and the shop only had one on display. It changed my opinion of Rye... very flavorful and drinkable at cask strength.
To my knowledge, it is a low (barely) Rye expression which is probably why I like it and has been released at least twice. I have only had the second release and I purchased two for my bunker since I left my first bottle at the party. Hunting for more! and open to trying low Rye mash bill juice.
133.4 proof - yummy yowza! Hope to find one of the JD Rye's sometime in my lifetime. Also love a proofy Canadian Rye, like from Preservation - all yummy in the tummy. Cheers and have a great weekend! "Fire, Water and Grain" - the Rye movie, check it out!

Bought the JDSBBP Rye the other day and immediately tasted it next to the Alberta Premium. Both absolutely fantastic and somehow almost nothing alike... but the JD won pretty handily. It's my favorite bottle at the moment... Alberta is around #5 or 6.
I feel like they released all their best barrels first. I guess it would make senses. Just frustrating I can’t find any bottle above 128 proof and all the reviews are 133-138 proof bottles

Yes totally agree! We’ve done a few videos on Whiskey Row and did a sample giveaway. My favorite was the FN 8yr, think blend of 21 and 8 year. So good!

Knob creek cask strength is world class stuff, my favorite rye
I really got into drinking Pikesville and it's phenomenal. Getting harder to find so I've gone over to Sagamore and it is excellent as well.
I love the new JD BP Rye.. bought 2 so far and killed one in one night with a few buddies.. it is delicious!
