I have owned this Timex Titanium GMT for about a week and I love it. This will be a keeper for me. Lightweight, strap feels comfortable (and I prefer rubber straps for larger watches like this) so the thickness is not an issue at all, bi-directional rotating bezel is a plus, corlor profile is spot-on, looks cool on wrist. I have no issue with it being an office GMT, it is not that hard to independently adjust the 24-hour GMT hand even during travel, and the quick date set is more convenient and conformative to intuition especially for those who are owning their first GMT watches. I would say I probably prefer it with more traditional lugs instead of the "turtle shell" shape lugs as the latter make the watch wear larger, close to 42-42.5mm, but that's not a big issue.
You all can say that the Waterbury or Q are the most beautiful TImex series, but Expedition North always get the look, and most of all, the best calibres
I've been watching many RUclips channels dedicated to watch reviews, but this one truly stands out. Whether you're a seasoned watch enthusiast or just getting into the hobby, your content is both accessible and insightful. I highly recommend this channel for anyone who appreciates quality timepieces and a relaxed, cool presentation style. Keep it going
Booked the watch last Sunday and received on Thursday. Since then never left my wrist. It ticked all my box for a watch except the brand but heck, its such a perfect watch to do anything and everything without a worry for damage or scratches and I have been monitoring the time everyday, it seems that it didn't lose a second and accuracy remained spot on when comparing to my phone time since day 1.
It’s always a good time when you release a new video and this one does not disappoint. I like what Timex is doing especially with this line of watches. I agree the lume is somewhat confusing but overall I really like the look of the watch. Excellent review as always 🥃
I wish Timex comes up with a subbrand that has a cooler name. For me somehow Timex sounds cheap, but I'm very much confident in their product quality and legacy. It's like Toyota, Timex needs a Lexus.
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
Excellent take on this new model. The angular shape also reminds me a bit of some RZE watches. I agree with you on the movement. Peaks my interest otherwise
For all you titanium lovers❤ I have been wearing a tactical frog titanium dive watch with FXD lugs . (Sometimes the copy is better than the original) lume plots are so thick and heavy it looks like a totally different watch I love it
It's a great watch but for the same price, you have the GMT Steinhart with a Swiss mouvement... ...and I don't speak about all GMT China watches with the same Nh34 for 100$ to 250$ ! The price could be perfect just under 350€, even if the case was built in stainless steel.
TIMEX WATCHES ARE GREAT BUT FOR 500 DOLLARS I THINK I WOULD GO FOR THE SEIKO 5 FOR THE SAME PRICE ON AMAZON BUT I LOVE TIMEX I REMEMBER MY FIRST WATCH WAS A TIMEX GREAT VIDEO
Great looking watch for this price. PS i bought yesterday the Certina DS Skeleton (C042.407.56.081.10), was kinda expensive for me but it was worth it ❤
great presentation as always! It would be interesting to compare this one with the Timex x The James Brand Automatic GMT which I believe was the watch Timex was based to make this one
Good honest review. Not a good watch for the price by a long shot though. Definitely much better and better looking watches out there for quite a bit less than that.
I’m reluctant to admit it but I find the overall design very appealing. It somehow captures the adventure watch genre in an unadulterated manner. I hope San Martin comes up with an homage to it.
Got mine. Blasted workmanship is not so good. After two days wearing one scartch was happened due to Ti grade 2 (?). In term of movement accuracy so far so good for almost a week wearing. Happy shopping.
Nice looking watch but too close to Tudor and Rolex in looks for me. Confusingly, you call it a “true” GMT with a jumping hour hand, then you say it houses the Seiko NH GMT movement, which does not have the jumping hour and is most often referred to as a “caller” GMT.
@@nicks8026agree, and it’s a real shame they didn’t use the Miyota 9075. It might have added a hundred dollars or so to the cost, but would have made it a no brainer for me. They already used that movement in the J Brand watch as well, which just adds to the frustration!
Timex has always been able to produce world class watches, but they’ve more often limited themselves to inferior materials, movements, etc. Back in the late 50’s and early 60’s they compared aesthetically to much more expensive brands. My ‘59 Viscount is gorgeous! The ‘60’s look was and is iconic. It’s just they weren’t built to be heirlooms.
I enquired with Timex concerning the movement of this watch. I was told the movement is in fact a Seiko NH34. $500+ for a NH34 is a no go. However, it is a great looking watch.
I wish it was Grade 5 titanium. Love the design but don't like that they went with softer grade 2 as it very quickly looks shabby, esp. with the bead blasted texture.
Steep pricing, nevertheless already sold out. This often seems to be the case with Timex: they have all the channels talking about it, but can't deliver. Have way more use for the caller mvt, I like the bezel action, but for this price lume has to be better. Glad you are back! Btw: thx for recommending the G-Steel GST-B600D - got it from Japan, a must-have imho :)
That’s true and I have the pro myself too, however that’s just a reimagined version of the old explorer so I guess it’s all derivative and yes Tudor is a cousin to Rolex Tudor but this has got its own identity and it feels pretty good on the wrist.
MAMACOO is one of my favorite watch manufacturers they do offer beautifull dials, good workmanship & moovements. That smooth sweeping second hand is truly mesmerizing!
Timex sells to all kinds of consumers with different budgets. To some, this is a stretch and to them maybe this a taste of “luxury”. I don’t mind because the case back isn’t seen when worn. But in time I could probably source a fitting case back from the aftermarket
Love the way you present the Watch with a lot of wrist shots in the wild 👌❤
Thank you! I am trying to diversify the "landscapes" :)

Timex are masters of producing great affordable watches. Great video.
Thank you! ❤️

I can’t think of another titanium GMT in this price range. Love what Timex has been doing.
Glad you’re back!

Haha! Thank you very much! ❤️ I am glad to be back.
It's good to see you back brother!
I bought Timex expedition..and i never regret....it's my field watch❤
Glad to see you again! I love this watch! Timex did really well with this one!
Nice watch and nice video thank you Andrei
Thank you! ❤️
I wish Timex comes up with a subbrand that has a cooler name. For me somehow Timex sounds cheap, but I'm very much confident in their product quality and legacy.
It's like Toyota, Timex needs a Lexus.
Same with Swiss brand Formex. Someone once commented under a video that it sounds like a condom brand and I cannot disagree...
Haha, true. Sounds like a soap brand :D
That would be awesome! Timex premium. 😁
Nope Timex was my first watch because it was made affordable and for me the brand has heritage.
@@asdfyxcv1100 😂😂😂 it does. Lol.
Nice to see you back! If this was a little smaller I think I might be tempted.
Cheers! ❤️ It wears decently for smaller sizes too.
Glad you are back
Love AMZWATCH watch, Such a great looking watch to match with the precisionist movement.
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
I have the 1978 Q reissue and wore it to an black tie wedding. Looked amazing.
Welcome back Andrei! 🎉
Andrei is back
Cheers! ❤️
timex has been killing it!
Great video, brother. I love the watch.

Let's go timex!!!!!
❤️🤞
Great video awesome shots

God!!! MAMACOO Who would have thought those gorgeous watches go for that low!!!

steinharts are caller gmt. this is traveller or true gmt movement.
Eye appealing design. Fauxpatina would be take this watch to next level.
A beautiful all-round package.
Sme Aliexpress brands could learn a thing or two from this design philosophy.
Haha. Agree
TIMEX WATCHES ARE GREAT BUT FOR 500 DOLLARS I THINK I WOULD GO FOR THE SEIKO 5 FOR THE SAME PRICE ON AMAZON BUT I LOVE TIMEX I REMEMBER MY FIRST WATCH WAS A TIMEX GREAT VIDEO
Thank you! It's true. Tight difference between them, indeed :)
Timex did it with this one Mr. Brave Explorer
Haha, yes :)
Great looking watch for this price.
PS i bought yesterday the Certina DS Skeleton (C042.407.56.081.10), was kinda expensive for me but it was worth it ❤
Congrats! The skeleton is cool, I haven't had the chance to see it in flesh, but I trust their judgement. Hope you enjoy it :)
great presentation as always! It would be interesting to compare this one with the Timex x The James Brand Automatic GMT which I believe was the watch Timex was based to make this one
Expensive watch with basic specs, good review friend...
Good honest review. Not a good watch for the price by a long shot though. Definitely much better and better looking watches out there for quite a bit less than that.

Devo dire che è un gran bel homage del Tudor black bay pro❤
Fully agree! :)
MAMACOO has set a new standard for replica watches. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. Its hard to tell the difference from the originals
Timex has been on fire
Seen this and the Tudor GMT came to mind without even reading the caption
Watches are so delicate and intricately designed, so I have intense respect and admiration for MAMACOO watch makers
Got mine. Blasted workmanship is not so good. After two days wearing one scartch was happened due to Ti grade 2 (?). In term of movement accuracy so far so good for almost a week wearing. Happy shopping.
I'm genuinely impressed with how close MAMACOO were able to replicate every aspect of this very very goofy looking classic watch.
Nice looking watch but too close to Tudor and Rolex in looks for me. Confusingly, you call it a “true” GMT with a jumping hour hand, then you say it houses the Seiko NH GMT movement, which does not have the jumping hour and is most often referred to as a “caller” GMT.
I agree. Yes, in general if they have a jumping hour feature and a bidirectional bezel, I call them true gmt :)
@@BraveBeaters ok but this doesn’t have a jumping hour hand. The hand that jumps is the 24-hour hand.
@@nicks8026agree, and it’s a real shame they didn’t use the Miyota 9075. It might have added a hundred dollars or so to the cost, but would have made it a no brainer for me. They already used that movement in the J Brand watch as well, which just adds to the frustration!
I like the yellow strap. What is it ?
Great watch. Timex should flip the triangle upside down and make it red 🔻 They can then be standard issue to the Axis of Resistance.
Where to find this yellow nato strap?
your b-rollsl are perfect!
MAMACOO!Every time you exhibit one of these watches I become super tempted to get one.
@andrei could you please give us the ref to the alternative rubber and nato straps you are using.
Hi, both yellow straps are from aliexpress. The yellow rubber can be found by looking for FKM rubber straps.
Brilliant ❤

I've got the James Brand Timex Titanium GMT and want to replace the strap. What size spring bar did you use for this?
@2:33 You said it was a true GMT but...with a NH34 movement? how?
I enquired with Timex concerning the movement of this watch. I was told the movement is in fact a Seiko NH34. $500+ for a NH34 is a no go. However, it is a great looking watch.
Black Bay Pro vibes for lemonade money - you just can’t knock Timex for having a go
Where did you get the yellow nato strap? Thanks
Good evening
Could you please tell me the brand of the yellow ribbed Nato?
Needs white dial version cheaper price. Nice video
Nice job presenting this watch. It's beautifully designed with good specs but an unhappy price. I would say $300 would be about right.
Great video 👍
So sad that this doesn´t come with on a bracelet-option...
MAMACOO is a must for me as a watch collector
Great content
nice review
Cheers!
$549 is insane, even for a titanium Timex. I got a full titanium Zelos (including a titanium bracelet) for $100 less than that.
Where can you buy these at a reasonable price?
Titanium grade?
Where can you get different straps for it
great stuff sir, any links for bands?
These are from aliexpress, both of them. Easy to find
@@BraveBeaters appreciate you! Great content I will be subscribing
Very surprised that TimeX did not utilise a miyota in this.
Those seiko movements are very reliable and cheap, makes sense to me
Agree in both contexts :)
I wish it was Grade 5 titanium. Love the design but don't like that they went with softer grade 2 as it very quickly looks shabby, esp. with the bead blasted texture.
The fun part is it’s based on an old diver style dynabeat dual time
Ever since I bought a watch from MAMACOO, My question is if it's this hard to tell them apart, what is the point of owning an authentic watch?
NH34 is not true GMT right? 😊
How you style your hair 👍
Haha! Cheers!
shld hv retained & used the Expedition North logo at 12 o'clock marker.
Modern Capt Willard?
In Romania a aparut?

Is it fair to say it's a homage? :p
What did you want to tell us @2:57? :)
I hope they will have white dial
Why they don’t ship to India ?
I’m pretty sure this is not a true GMT watch with the Seiko NH34A…?
I thought the same lol
or, Tudor won second prize in the most expensive alternative to the Timex Expedition North GMT watch.
Haha! If it was firstly launched, for sure :) Cheers!
Outstanding video.I have to go with the MAMACOO, especially with that green dial as my favorite
Thats almost a full blatant copy of Tudor, If the chinese did this, theyd get flak for it.
Tudor is just a little Rolex homage brand so it’s fine
@@siddhant46s54 Oh ok, so smaller bussiness ripoff is fine. Cool
Cool gmt 😊
I prefer Seiko movements to Miyota 9000 series, the unidirectional winding on the 9000 is too noisy and noticeable on the wrist
When you are Tudor more than Tudor.

Timex is now up there with seiko in terms of bang for buck watches
I agree :)
@@BraveBeaters I have the marlin chronograph and I wear it constantly, probably one of my favorites
Well, it's NOT a true GMT watch because of Seiko NH34 movement, which offers "caller/office GMT" complication.
This episode is such a vibe 💪💪
Can we just get rid of these display casebacks - there is nothing of note to see. Would be nicer to have a nice design on the case back.
I agree. Sometimes a see through caseback is nice though. I really like my seiko samurai back design
Fully agree. A display case back is only needed if the movement looks exceptional. Please give us some case back designs.
100% agree! It's unnecessary unless it has a particularly beautiful movement
Timex sells to all kinds of consumers with different budgets. To some, this is a stretch and to them maybe this a taste of “luxury”. I don’t mind because the case back isn’t seen when worn. But in time I could probably source a fitting case back from the aftermarket
Sadly timex quality just isn’t there. It’s overpriced for the finishing and materials. There are so many better options, even on Ali Express!!
It is a bit a bit expensive. Agree
@@BraveBeaters I put one in my cart for a bit and got 20 percent off
I can't justify giving that money for a Timex
