Is this worth to buy instead of having samsung galaxy s22 ultra, for video recording? Should i use my phone for recording, or just gett this camcorder?

It depends what you want record. If you need to zoom in to what your filming the a camcorder is good. But if it’s anything else where a bit of zoom is needed then your phone should do the trick.

@Ghost's channel Yes it has HDR mode. And well 4K is as you may know 4000 pixels of horizontal display resolution.

@DaringBeefcake You say it will take 40-60 minutes to record. Let's say I shoot at full 4K / 25fps (EU) resolution and use a VW-VBT380 battery (3900mAh) as long as it takes to record (60 minutes or less, or longer). I would like to know how many such batteries I will have to buy in stock

I haven’t had the chance to record at full 4K because my memory card is not big enough. Though I did try once but the memory was full, way before the battery died and had to finish recording on my old Sony camcorder. At present I can use the cam for over an hour for my recordings, that’s on the Panasonic VW-VBT380 PREMIUM which I got of off amazon but it’s not as good as I thought. Its cheap at 20£ maybe, but possibly better to invest in a more reliable one. Unless I have a faulty one because it tends to drop fast after charge.

How much long the battery last on a single full charge? Can we record while charging the camera?

    • @DaringBeefcake

Hi the battery does not last long at all may be 40 to 60 mins all depending on the settings. I read those reviews so I bought another battery with bigger capacity that lasts may be 120 mins . I am able to record while the camcorder is charging no issues there.

@@DaringBeefcake thanks for your reply and as i came to know, panasonic doesn't support 3rd party batteries and original Panasonic battery seems to be very expensive.

I did read about them not supporting 3rd party batteries but the one I got was around 30 pounds from Amazon. The genuine one was over 100.

Hi. I want to buy this one. At the moment I record my videos with panasonic Lumix FZ82 but I´m not pleased with the color and when I upload to youtube the videos becomes grainy.. I want to record in 1080p and not 4K which is also available with the lumix, but thats it´s difficult.. Do you think it will be a big difference/easier with this camera or is it depending on my settings of the lumix only? Thanks/John

Hi, I think the camcorders are better at recording film though am not an expert on the matter, I have found that the Panasonic am using now it has a very good image compared to my old Sony, which I can see my old videos also look grainy, had I bought the newer Sony am sure it would be as good as the Panasonic. Another thing I have learnt recently is that light matters a lot, so perhaps try adding light and see what happens, it really depends what your filming, I was very interested in stability as I really like aircraft and a steady shoot is essential. plus I think you can adjust the light settings on the Panasonic but old Sony needed a lot of extra light to manage a reasonable picture.
