The Korean pair managed to win, despite the obvious problem with Lee's knee that hindered her defensive moves of the drop shots by the Japanese pair. She played with grit throughout the match, enduring pain and discomfort in her right knee. As for the Japanese pair, it was unfortunate that they couldn't manage to redeem themselves after losing the French Open, last week, when they let an apparent victory over the number 1 pair from China slip away in the third set with five match points ahead. That loss should be more painful and difficult to get over than this loss, for sure.

Matsu/Shida always have that quality to be on the top, but i think they really lack of power, i didnt mean they have no power but both of them are really good in placement and disguise shot, but to compare with Baek/Lee, Chen/Jia, or even they teammates Wakana/Nagahara and Fuku/Hiro, these pair didnt have that 'big smash' player. But it's always a fun to see they playing, so many good rally and well played game. Hope they doing great in the Olympic, Nami/Shida!
