Congrats on one of the best climbing vids on youtube.. No seasoning needed, no commentary, no music, just pure adventure and heights.. Loved every minute💪🙏👍
That was one of the best and most enjoyable videos I have seen in a long time, if ever ! No obnoxious B.G music looping. No apoplectic MTV style scene change every 3 seconds. And I was stoked you added some of the descent :)
One spectacular position after another! So refreshing to watch climbing as it is: without the fake bro-banter and extreme music. Keep 'em coming, with longer edits too! It's really nice to watch the scenery in the background.
The exposure and wind/weather is crazy. What an awesome climb, so pure and traditional. Massive respect brothers. I’ve climbed with some great guys and these dudes are fluid, there with the very best. The determination and ability it takes to climb that feature is unthinkable. Amazing stuff.
Awesome adventure and a safe return, a good climbing team! The climbing footage from the belayers positions worked well - too many climbing videos are from active climber helmet cams and are always bobbing around and lack perspective. Thanks for sharing this excellent video of a climb most of us will probably never do; this is the next best thing.
Superb, Thanks, I remember a trip in Bubaboos, a long time ago... in 1976....Superbe souvenir mais les glaciers étaient beaucoup plus gros, le temps peu clément, merci pour ces images....Jean louis from France (Briançon)
I love myself some good raw climbing footage. Just the sounds of nature, footsteps and the gear and scenic views. The most unpretentious can be the most beautiful.
It was so realistic it brought me back to when I was leading Alpine climbs in RMNP. It was absolutely thrilling to watch. Also, great job of leading, both of you.
Absolutely amazing guys. Solid work. My climbing days are long behind me, but I always dreamed about a climb in the Bugaboos. Never was able to make that happen unfortunately. Cheers on you guys 👍👍
Looks like you boys had a great day out! Envious. Was in Bugaboos in '85. One of the driest summers in Canadian Rockies history....came to an end when we arrived. Got East Post and Pigeon, then completely skunked by the weather for the rest of the trip. Snowline below the hut. If it weren't for badluck..... Packed out early, bought multiple packs of Okanagan ciders, and steeped in various hotsprings for days.
Very well done. I just want to know how much gear you both are carrying. I’m trying to get into mountaineering instead of just hiking and climbing gyms. A gear layout would be cool to see.
I'd advise you to try and make friends with someone at the climbing gyms that also climbs outdoors and get them to show you their rack of equipment. You could standardise most climbers' setups for an 'average' climb (a set of nuts - with duplicates of the middle sizes that you use more, some small to medium cams, 12-15 quick draws, selection of slings just about sums it up), but quite often you know in advance you need extras of a certain size of nut or cam (or whatever) because the pro placements are well-known and obviously you need a fair bit more kit for a big climb like this compared to some roadside crag. It's also great to learn coming up second on a rope so you get to remove all the pro placed by your more experienced leader.
Is no one else thinking that the rock on that face looks brittle? No way would I trust putting my weight on some of those handholds. I'm frightened just watching 😱 Great job guys. You're both way more daring at height than I could ever be. Respect.
Excellent, outstanding, bacan. There will come a day when it will require an effort just to get out of a chair so climb until you cannot. Vaya con Dios. P.S. Bacan is Chilean for Cool.
This is the real deal. Not a bunch of influencers with screaming titles, music, and nonsense. It's the quite people like this that do more than any of them.

Thanks for watching!
The sound of trad gear mingling and jingling is therapeutic.
Speak for yourself.
@@Jimirulz1 The least traumatized one.
Same for me i watch it to relax

What some people call fun, I call terrifying. Respect! I get vertigo just watching.

Great video, Captured the day and the essence of the climb perfectly. Great job !
Fantastic climb!! What spectacular scenery.
Those low top shoe on the climb down tho... ??

Looks like one amazing climb. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed watching.
Wow! Beautiful footage of your trip, and epic climbing! What a great destination, solid rock, and scenery!
Amazing footage, Brad! Can't wait to visit the Bugs next season
Thank you!

Absolutely amazing guys. Solid work. My climbing days are long behind me, but I always dreamed about a climb in the Bugaboos. Never was able to make that happen unfortunately. Cheers on you guys 👍👍
Great climb.... Love and appreciation from India
Wow. Impressive climb, great video and amazing scenery.

Great filming, what an excellent route, looks like a great time

Start off with a couple guided days if you don't know anyone. Gear lists are pretty easy to find online for specific objectives.
Freaking SICK exposure on some of those pitches. Looks super fun, good work boys!
sometimes a cup of tea and a biscuit brings so much joy
Thank you, for sharing. The rope lines, are a good idea.💙💛💙
This was a joy to watch. We're just along for the climb, no flair or music.
What a beautiful day. Perfect. Thank you.
Boys, you are incredible, what you are doing is super important, when you do this you touch the gods, this is literally Devine, keep on and be safe
What do you do once you get to the top?
So beautiful climbing! Really good and
fantastic !
Is no one else thinking that the rock on that face looks brittle?

Great job guys. You're both way more daring at height than I could ever be. Respect.
So well filmed!!!
Great video! I agree with other comments- much better for lack of music. But can you say what the difficulty was on the route?
Hello Brad
I congratulate you on the great climb. Thank you for the wonderful film. I wish you good mountain tours.
Best regards
Raphael Wellig
Its especially impressive considering the massive iron balls you guys must have weighing you down.
Great footage, great climb.
Beautiful video and route. Is that a helmet-mounted GoPro? The shots across the Howsers look epic
Excellent, outstanding, bacan. There will come a day when it will require an effort just to get out of a chair so climb until you cannot. Vaya con Dios. P.S. Bacan is Chilean for Cool.
I know nothing about rock climbing but couldn't the pieces of the rock fall off? It looks like sections of the rock face have already detached .
Congrats and well done! Definitely a climb that's been on my list for a while.
Send it!
Great day. Beautiful route.
My heart is beating fast just watching. No thumping music needed.
I'm saving this video in my "life fuel" playlist.
Nice work Brad. Handsome route at its grade.
Unbelievable. Love to see more of the repels but gotta be exhausted.
This is the real deal. Not a bunch of influencers with screaming titles, music, and nonsense. It's the quite people like this that do more than any of them.
That looked epic, well done!
I was hoping they each brought a wingsuit up and there would be a spot off of which they could safely jump.
thats the craziest looking mountain ive ever seen
This is the only way to become superhuman, thank you for what you do
awesome video. wtf is that wall at 2:58 in the background??
Snowpatch Spire. There are much bigger faces in the Bugaboos than on Snowpatch.
Great video
That was exhilarating and scary to watch. Great job men!
@5:15 - @6:00 what an amazing-looking pitch!
to experience, to feel nature completely, truly, is the only way
Maybe a stupid question, but where did you do this climbing?
OMG. Just search for the title online. 😑
Holy guacamole...! That has got to be a new speed record - 11 min 3 secs...!!! 😂
Where is this thing?
No video from the summit?
It's a shame you didn't get any summit pics! I love the thumbnail moment though.
Oh my, I couldn't do that. I'm far too afraid of heights. But I admire their ability.
Now that's mountain climbing 🐐🐐
Your video is documentary quality.
That looks like fantastic fun!
Great footage Brad, you're hired!
How high was this!!?! Wicked stuff
3000 M / 10000 F
WHAT GRADE IS THE CLIMB?
5.8 1500 ft 10 pitches grade iv. Probably closer to 5.9 grade 5 based off the area but I have never climbed this. Looks mega!
Liked and subscribed !! Nice video!!
Appreciate it!
Verdadeiro Alpinismo ... TOP !!!
A couple mountain goats up there huh?
Wow! Amazing.
Wow. Crazy. Respect.
Awesome vid
It looks like big pieces could flake off at any moment.
This is something beyond
nice big cracks but the exposure is still so intimidating
Una sola parola:
CHAPEAU!!!!
🙏
Looks to me to be an insanely unstable hunk of rock. For the life of me I can’t understand the why.
Hallucinant !!😮😮😮
Crazy run out in the offwidth!!! STUDS!
incredible
Rad af cool video!
incredible! thanks for not adding music
Wow, what a day out
Sic, nice job
Imagine the first ascent in 1958 :)
Kudos to the camera man
0:01 at one moment i thought the whole mountain was holo
The best thing about this is that I'm on the couch not doing it...
Bravo
Awsome
Nice lump of rock.
,,,,....... THE REAL WORLD AS WE KNOW IT .......,,,,,,😮❤
If i would climb that mountain, Niagara falls would be in a different place and the water would be dark brown....
Of course, cuz you are from Ontario................. and most ontarians think like that
Gosh if only it wasn't so smoky. Still amazing, but...
I'd bring a paraglider, who wants wants to waste time, energy and threat of falling on the way down? Not I.
I would have made it up at least the first 20 feet of the trek
Damn looks scary
What a climb. Well done.
What a goofy name for such a pretty mountain
Bugaboo roughly means Ogre. The name fits. A lot better than Pik Lenin in your country. Re-named something Pik Putin yet?
Classic!
