Quick correction, India did not invested in Technology in 90s (may be guest misspoke). India started in 50s by establishing first IIT and setting up Regional Engineering Colleges in each state like one in Srinagar, J&K and for all other states (now called NITs - everybody talks about IITs, RECs or NITs are equally premier Engineering schools).

In the next 2-3 years Pakistan will add 5Cr illiterate population.. with 2.5 crore children out of school and 50-60 % illiterate population ie 11 Cr with unscientific mindset. Only highly optimists people can hope for the trillion $ economy.

If that was indeed so, Pakistan would be doing pretty well already, wouldn’t it?

We get 1 GBPS broadband commonly across India barring maybe some rural areas. The entire family is on broadband, all appliances on IoT and so are curtains, fans, lights etc. Add to that 3 to 4 large TVs with OTTs streaming day in and day out. And the cost very reasonable. Then we also have 4G and 5G.

It is a simplistic assumption that because of population growth, the subcontinent plus China will be the major player 2-3 decades from now, and the West will somehow be sidelined.
West has the highest rates of immigration in the world, and they attract the best lot of skilled people from all over the world. BECAUSE of the freedom and choices people get there. Compare that to China where immigration rates are abysmally lower than even weak/small economies of the West e.g. Portugal or eastern Europe. No one wants to live under so much state surveillance when there are much better options even economically in the West.
China's situation after 2 decades is precarious, because they have majorly relied on foreign consumption to grow. Plus a decent chunk of China's growth in the last 15 years has come from local govts selling land to real estate companies, and the central govt spending extravagantly on infrastructure (e.g. high-speed rails built by China where there wasn't any demand for it). The local govts in China rely on selling land to earn taxes, and most Chinese to this day, invest solely in real estate. Chinese bureaucracy is quite corrupt in comparison to the developed world, because of CCP's authoritarian setup.
And India still has a loong way to go to be able to challenge the West in terms of living standards and absolute purchasing power. Yes if India is able to get to where China is right now, it will be in a much better position from then on, as compared to how China's future looks like right now. For India, the major struggle is getting there first, with democracy and literally the highest amount of diversity than any country in the world.

Brother unless you implement land reforms and make taxation more on high earning class Pakistan is going nowhere. You guys need to get over Fauji, shaheen, Baharia foundation circle and let the market flow organically, talking in podcasts won't make any difference unless principle changes are made and it's non existence. You have one of the highest number of kids who doesn't go to school which are unproductive Human Resource who needs to be taken care of and lastly get over the hatred which your books preach against non believers and science/ratinal thinking to suceed.

Israel story is built on lies. Technology is not everything. 40% water that Israel uses is stolen from Golan Heights (Syrian heights occupied by Israel in the 70s). Even dates come from farms stolen by illegal settlers (Illegal, as per International Law and UN).... Technology is over-rated. 7th October's Hamas action proved that technology cannot be substitute to humans..

Haa unhone USA mai jaake MBA ki degree li par engineering unhone IIT se ki hai. Indian americans earn the highest average salary in the USA. That means they have the highest skills in tech sector.

What I have always found fascinating is how the concept of space travel and exploration, by its very nature, is inextricably linked to the emotions of hope and aspiration. So it makes a lot of sense why participants of the Buraq Space Camp that Dr. Shahid mentions here would go on to have successful, impactful careers and lives. The benefit of that camp, in my opinion, wouldn't solely lie in the knowledge gained about space travel but also in the time spent talking about and thinking about this evidence of human triumph. There is something to be said about inculcating a mindset at a young age that believes in miracles coming true.
