In these youtube days of 'professional' channels, sponsored tech videos and the adpocalypse it's rare to find a channel that just embodies everything we once loved about this website, some dork grabs a camera and makes amateur videos about a topic that they are interested in. you've got that spirit my man, and your channel is a gem.
Thanks everyone for making this possible, I lost alot of footage and had alot of issues with the footage I did have, all in all this PC is awesome and I would never have been able to get it without any of you....A few things in the export got a little broken so apologies for that, and finally Forza 6 was running at 60Fps, but for some reason the export didn't like that, here is the in game benchmark for proof goo.gl/wLrvka Also that spelling mistake at 0:15 I thought was fixed...Apparently not. Now if only I could find a VEGA 56 at RRP.
My Patreon will explain all, I work alot, and go to school full time, so I try my best to fund, and make as many video's as I can (With good quality) for the channel :D
I couldn't figure out why I couldn't tell the difference between the old and new footage quality. Turns out I was just too early on the video and had only the option for 360p at that point. Congratulations to you !
Proper chuffed how I stumbled onto your videos. They're lesser known gems of RUclips. Good on the early supporters too for helping big time with those donations to help this creative guy to make his great content 👍😉
This really touched me. I haven't been here since the very beginning, but i have been here for a while. I saw your video in my suggestion box so I thought I would check you out so I did. I have wanted to do something like your channel forever, but never could really start, I was amazed even by your first videos. From the first day I saw your videos I wanted more. I would wait for you to post and watch it pretty quickly. I enjoy your content a lot , and i always will want more.
Ermagerd, that X300 brings me back! My first PC had a Radeon X300, and I loved it. Man, I remember back when I first got a graphics card that had a fan on it..
Congratz, you deserve it! Ive been following/watching for awhile now before Ive even had an account on youtube as it was you and other tech tubers (of a similar nature like TechYes and RGiHD) that made me seek out more ways to show support in anyway possible!
I feel your pain bro, my hp pavilion from 2008 or older and traded my ipod touch for a AMD 1gb gpu. Last year or year before the motherboard crapped out and finally died. 2 years ago I rushed to buy a msi laptop with gtx 960m (my first big purchase as a adult 25yr old at the time) I still look at people's sleeper builds I'm so proud for you bro I just subbed! Keep it up! I wish you the best
For a small youtuber, i got to admit, you are pretty good at what you are going. Keep up the good work! Personally, as a RX470 and a i3-6100 gamer, i like to look at low end stuff too.
Such a huge amount of progress in such a short time. Well done man. I just ordered my Ryzen 5 1600 yesterday and already have my Asrock X370 and HD7970 waiting to be slapped together. Really great that I can see roughly how it'll do from watching this video
Milky Senpai the HD 7970 is a great card, seriously aged very well, if it's anything like mine, you can overclock it all the way. Max power target, Max frequency, max memory frequency, and it won't throw artifacts or overheat. I actually had the 7950, but flashed the 7970 bios to unlock the extra shaders lol, effectively a 7970 then
It's certainly an excellent card. I was lucky enough to grab a Windforce Ghz edition for cheap so it already runs pretty near a good overclock. Can't wait to see how it goes without my old cpu holding it back!
I feel happy for you! You did the best purchase with that money. And i think i underestimated the R9 285. It's a freaking beast man! My R7 240 says hi :')
so excited about everything about battlefront ii, especially how i meet the minimum requirements, but it costs more than my gaming PC, thanks to this channel
I instantly subbed when i was watching your older videos when you had just about 5k subs. You are talented mate .. definitely its been a long journey But you deserve it all. waiting for that 100K milestone :D
I built my Ryzen pc in November R5 1600 8GB 2800Mhz 240GB SSD 1TB hard drive Asus B350 Prime plus. Radeon 7870XT (runs the same chip as yours I believe).
Just got a ryzen 3 2300x based system at 3.5 ghz with 4 cores and threads 8gb DDR4 2600 MHz and an r7 570 4gb upgrade from my i56200u dual core 8gb ddr3 1400mhz and 2gb gt940m. Btw idk why you don’t have 10 million subs right now best tech channel
Hey, that is the exact CPU I have now! And the exact amount of memory, though I have a GeForce GTX 1650 and a 512 GB SSD nothin any better then what you owed in the past!
I must say good choice on your processor been around watching for a while and you have come a long way. Heres hoping you continue to improve and grow in future :D
Love the hard work you put into your videos, this channel has gotten better and better. I suggest you buy a lighting setup next for your hardware shots. Seems a bit contextually odd to do those outdoors.
I was watching this while i was installing win98 on my 2003 pc with a p4 2.4ghz and fx 5200 (yeah that card) but its fine for win98 gaming. Great video as always.
Liked and subbed to this channel :) Excellent choice, I meant the Ryzen and the sub. The I3 6100 and videocard weren't even that bad. In june I went from an Ivy Bridge pentium (G2020) and a GTX650 to a Ryzen 7 1700 with a RX580 (8gb), that was some difference :P
I play some games on my Pentium laptop with Intel HD graphics and 8GB RAM, but my actual gaming pc was below £1000 with an 8-core AMD FX CPU, R9 380 graphics card, 8GB DDR4...... and I use 3 viewsonic VA926 monitors that I got for free because they were being thrown out at work. They have a 5MS response time so I'm happy.
You've done amazingly during this journey and I hope you got more to come 😃 And nice now you got a Ryzen PC, though it might feel wierd not having to wait hours for a video to render anymore :P
Our rigs are very similar... I have a i3 6100 on a H110 motherboard, with 2x4GB of 2133 ram... I have the 1050 ti, which has almost the same performance as the R9 285, a 500GB MX300, a 1TB WD green, and a 500TB seagate :P
These really are good times to be into PC hardware. We now have a genuine choice between Intel and AMD when shopping for high performance kit. 6 core Ryzen brings serious CPU power to the mid-range.
Can't tell if 360p is because I'm early, or to highlight how far you've come from potato looking videos.... For real dude, congrats with the success and keep going. I'm jealous I don't have to skillset to do something similar!
I have that exact board/cpu combo. I've 16gb ddr4, but I opted for the Corsair air 740. I'm overclocked to 3.9 on the stock cooler. I think keeping the ambient temperature in the case low helps significantly.
I have that exact mobo paired with a r5 1400... easily one of the best purchases I've ever made! When it comes down to motherboards I only really trust asus and msi...
dude I was here for the first videos don't doubt yourself I thought this was a fairly professional channel I didn't even know it was your first video you are honestly amazing esspessially compared to garbage RUclipsrs like me
yeah im definitely going to be upgrading to ryzen real soon. especially with ryzen + bringing extra improvements to things like IPC and efficiency it's real tempting. I know many people would say a 4690k is still a great CPU and it is, but it's starting to get pegged at 100% with stuff that would be considered pretty basic these days so i think either a 1600x or maybe a 1700x would do nicely.
Congrats man, found your channel some weeks back and I just love watching videos on old tech. Like you said, you've come a long way in your videos but they were always nice to watch, always informative and funny. May your channel keep growing and your content getting better.
Kudos for striving to offer viewers with improved content. Far contrast from that "other budget oriented" channel who shows the same format since day 1, same redundant vids and likes to show people how he got scammed.
Good video bud! As someone who had a tight budget coming from a lynnfield core I7-875K, I know where you're coming from. I got a good deal on a R5 1600X for ~$200, Asus Crosshair VI Hero for $190, and 16 Gb of G.Skill Flare X 2400 MHz for $100. If you want to have the AMD stock fan right-side up, just unscrew the housing and rotate it. I've seen videos of it done, and the screw holes should line up. BTW, SUB EARNED!
Awesome stuff Budget Builds, that new PC you got is really fast and fluid in everything you gave it! Okay, even the older i3 setup you had is probably better than my laptop, but still, great to see your progress on here through the months and that you can now game in high settings at 1080p, or medium settings at 4k. (A lot better than the £5 laptop that topped out at 240p on GTA5, eh?)
I have no internet and no mobile data at the moment, and I spent 2 hours and 43 minutes, at McDonald's using their wifi, just so I could watch your video. Never disappointed.
yes awesome videos! i actually have an r9 285 too lol, awesome card. recently upgraded to 1080 fe, didnt know much about pcs and now here i am! and rip u didnt even love react my comment xD keep it up
yes it is quite powerful, only problem is in Australia, computers get really, really, hot. especially in the northern regions. suggestion for a video?? definitely make a cheap sleeper build, i would really enjoy it :) have a good one mate
well i am not into pc building and shit.. but i am gonna subscribe to you.. Its alway nice to learn something new and your voice and explanation ability are more then nice and clever and easy to learn compare to the other guys who are doing similar sort of stuff. So thanks for doing this :)
I couldn't put that thought in better words, thank you
Thanks everyone for making this possible, I lost alot of footage and had alot of issues with the footage I did have, all in all this PC is awesome and I would never have been able to get it without any of you....A few things in the export got a little broken so apologies for that, and finally Forza 6 was running at 60Fps, but for some reason the export didn't like that, here is the in game benchmark for proof goo.gl/wLrvka Also that spelling mistake at 0:15 I thought was fixed...Apparently not.

Budget-Builds Official I love this channel even if you post once a week
My Patreon will explain all, I work alot, and go to school full time, so I try my best to fund, and make as many video's as I can (With good quality) for the channel :D
Budget-Builds Official start was so green ham gaming.
I was on the stream so good that you got ryzen but could you have not spent 220 pound from cex instead
How does your antenna internet setup work? Does it relay to somewhere in your house, or an ISP?
Best donation "Go buy a Ryzen ffs" xD
Not only is it funny it's very generous.
I got a hearty chuckle out of that
ffs means for f***s sake
I love how commendable the Ryzen is to the point where one of your viewers literally tossed 200 pounds and said buy a Ryzen ffs.
I couldn't figure out why I couldn't tell the difference between the old and new footage quality. Turns out I was just too early on the video and had only the option for 360p at that point. Congratulations to you !
The beginning was legit touching kinda
Ayden Cook yes it was touching but unfortunately I get a wish ad and the moment was broken
So you went with Ryzen for your upgrade, nice choice. You deserve the upgrade as reward for the great videos you put out. Enjoy it mate.
Glad to have you still here :D
Budget-Builds Official Taking a break from making regular videos as ive been crazy busy at work.
Same here to be honest, this video has been weeks in the making :D
Budget-Builds Official Ive got a Dreamcast video coming up and im going to go insane with the edit.

Keep the channel going dude, you’re on your way to becoming big in the RUclips tech community
I was there when you got the donation, me and one of your mods went crazy ;D
Proper chuffed how I stumbled onto your videos. They're lesser known gems of RUclips. Good on the early supporters too for helping big time with those donations to help this creative guy to make his great content 👍😉
Nice to know that you have the exact same case as me. I built my first Pc in December and I really like the case.
You have a lot of faith in that pc...2:30 is like a balancing act on that vase! Very good video the XP music made me feel nostalgic :)
Some say there still is that same comment
I've only been here a month-ish but I'm so proud to of seen your channel grow and improve over time
This really touched me. I haven't been here since the very beginning, but i have been here for a while. I saw your video in my suggestion box so I thought I would check you out so I did.
