My life is so boring and if the examiner asks me something about my life I wouldn’t have something interesting to say them. “Tell me something that you did on your holidays” -Nothing, staying at home all summer as each year.
We are in the same boat.. Many people give me advice that I should make up the story in order to have ideas to talk about. However I dont like that method, it is against my characteristic. So till now I haven't planned to take the test.
it is very basic that the examiner is not going to check the authenticity. He/she is not going to ask you the flight tickets as a proof of your summer vacation. It boils down to how confident you are while speaking. As simple as that.

There were quite a number of pronunciation errors and more than normal hesitation. Her answer to her opinion about homesickness somehow contradicts with what the examiner asked as she seemed to agree with the second opinion. Her use of phrases and word choice could have been better. More like a 6.5 but I agree that the questions were difficult for her so a 7 is appropriate.

I did the ielts exam twice.The first time when I memorised answers I got a very low score.The second time I answers naturally as per my knowledge so the score was remarkably different and high.My advice to everyone is: Never ever memorise answers!!!!! Examiners are trained to distanguish between memorised answers and live ones.Good luck!

This is a mock interview and it is rehearsed. You should not use memorized information in the official IELTS because there is very little chance that it is on the right controlling idea.

Ask for time, "Please give me a moment to think" then create an answer in about 5 seconds (10 seconds is too long)
