Thanks for including the wildlife footage! Also, my cat really enjoyed the bobcat kitten meows segment, she came racing over to the tv. Had to play it a couple times for her hehe.
Stuff like this warms my heart man. Men out there pioneering with their lives just to offer good experiences for themselves and others. Definitely gonna up my skills over the years and try and get out to those trails you're making
Great to get an overview of Everstoke! As far as your "what's the point" comment about ebikes with a lighter battery, one point is you have a bike that handles like a regular mountain bike so it is more fun downhill and for all-around riding. I'm usually using the lowest power level on my ebike anyway, so the battery easily lasts for 4 hours and 3-4,000' of climbing, even with using a higher power level for the climbs. That's a plenty long ride.
I didn't realize how many unnamed trails there are. I've proposed this one before, and riding a trail called "Yeti's Revenge" would fit not only with other tails' namesakes, but also would be perfect for the yet to be named climbing trail. Planning on making it to Everstoke sometime mid June.
Brian...some cool trails are getting going...... The developments are going very well!! With all that creaking going on, sounds like your eBike is in need of some lovin maintenance...Looking forward to meeting you and riding your ever expanding trails!! You guys are doing an incredible job!!!!
eMTB protip: you can stick an allen key in a chainring bolt and as you backpedal the crank will bump into it and push the chainring/chain backwards. Hope to get out to Everstoke someday, hi from CO!
Awesome video you are inspired me for mountain bike riding and I started off last year for ridding mountain bike it is really cute once you are browsing on mountains
Hi Brian, how are you doing? I've been following you for 3 years. Your videos are excellent, and I learned a lot from them. Greetings from Mendoza Argentina.
Holy cow! Aaron did a great job with the trails in that place. That land is gorgeous and you guys are building a destination in itself. Super cool. Crossing my fingers to make it out there this year. Great stuff!!
Great work. I didn't realize you guys had accomplished this much. If only you were closer to me.... I'd come and ride! Maybe a big trip is in my future
You down with E.S.P? Yeah, you know me! I forgot all about Mama Mia and Squatch. The middle climb trail might need a new name and sign or "Begin Trail" might stick ; ) Thank you for another great vid!
Man that ebike is creaky and loud, loved the ripmo, I bought one due to your videos and still ride her weekly. Oso is a no go 😂, thanks for the tour of the trails.
Signs: Put them about 1-2 feet off the ground on straight sections not 5 ft. up a tree. Is Jon/Howling Dogs bike and Ski still in Greagle or did Jon move on?
That's pretty cool! We're thinking wood CNC at the moment, but there's a lot of info I'd like to place on them. Shoot me an email bk@bkxc.bike if you don't mind!
A bear or mountain lion can run 2-3x faster than an e-bike on trails. I personally always carry bear spray and make lots of noise when riding in apex areas.
@@bkxc awesome. I commented too soon as you talked about it later in the video. 😄 Can't wait to see it. My wife and I are seriously thinking of visiting there someday.
I thought we had all the dangerous creatures down here in Oz, but riding around a forest with Bears and Mountain Lions haha no thanks, give me reptiles any day.
Great work Brian. I have been a subscriber long before you and Aaron MTBing Adventures even bought Everstoke. It would surely be nice if you can encourage your subscribers to subscribe to Aarons channel because he truly works hard to get the site to where it is rite now and to see that he only has a few subscribers it bothers me sometimes. Thanks for all the great content and keep up the good work.
They can be pretty insane and painful. I've created a circuit that should keep that down to some really easy climbing and maximize the downhill fun. Many of the switch backs will become much easier as well. I just haven't had time to open them up wider. The recommended circuits will be put on Trailforks as we keep improving Everstoke. I do give tours in the meantime.
considering how much you dislike bike park riding, your partner build a bunch of mediocre bike park like trails that are very common for Southern California

Been watching your videos for years now, one of the people that got me interested in mountain biking. Been riding for six years now, thanks man
Love to hear that so much!!
Thanks for including the wildlife footage! Also, my cat really enjoyed the bobcat kitten meows segment, she came racing over to the tv. Had to play it a couple times for her hehe.
Yes!! I was thinking there would be some house cats that would get a kick out of that!
hahahaha same here

Love that, thanks so much dude!
Those rocks are amazing looking, very cool indeed...lovin' the tour of EVERSTOKE. Thanx, Brian...
Yeah, we've got a couple really neat little spots like that!
I’ll be up there soon! Thank you for your dedication Brian!
Love to hear it!!
Ooo yea 🎉 all the snow melted away since I been up there ......shrrreeeddd time woohoo🔥🤘🚴💯
All the snow came back! Haha, gonna be a while before it melts out again
Great to get an overview of Everstoke!

I like that name. I think I have just the trail we can use that on. In the near future I will make it so. Thanks
Fantastic!

Heck yeah!! Nice work boys!
It's coming together so nice!
Great progress. Keep going!!

That is great!!
wow its my first time/video on this channel , I Love these E-BIKE channels, its remarkable how much distance yall covered in a single ride/day.
Thanks so much! I covered a lot of ground!
Those cats are awesome. Only 10 hours from Portland. Might be a destination this year.
Hope you make it down!!

@@bkxc if not, I'd love to give a hand!
this is awesome! one of the coolest things going on right now in the mtb world. these trails look fun
Glad you're digging it!!
It’s good to still see you on an Ibis even after the sponsorship ended. It shows they’re still worth riding regardless of a paid sponsorship.
The ebike is great for trail work and mapping!!
Great Video. I can’t wait to come and ride/camp. My Revel is ready.
Love to hear it!!
"Snowmer" - great to see you back at Everstoke
Hahaha, snowmer loamer!
Great work. I didn't realize you guys had accomplished this much. If only you were closer to me.... I'd come and ride! Maybe a big trip is in my future
For sure!! One hour drive from the Reno airport
Your trails are looking fabulous
So far so good!!
the ramp/return feature looks like a smash 👍🏼….session time….
Big time!! Endless laps and lots of good progression
You down with E.S.P? Yeah, you know me!
I forgot all about Mama Mia and Squatch. The middle climb trail might need a new name and sign or "Begin Trail" might stick ; )
Thank you for another great vid!
Yes!! Hope to see you out this Spring, Rich! Bring the buddies!
Awesome video. What kind of bike computer are you running in this video ?
That's the Kiox system that's built into the Oso Ebike
Man that ebike is creaky and loud, loved the ripmo, I bought one due to your videos and still ride her weekly. Oso is a no go 😂, thanks for the tour of the trails.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Keep the videos coming B
Most definitely!!
What a great looking place and trails are really coming along. Name your unnamed main climb trail "Stairway to Stoke"
Haha, I love that!
Signs: Put them about 1-2 feet off the ground on straight sections not 5 ft. up a tree. Is Jon/Howling Dogs bike and Ski still in Greagle or did Jon move on?
I don't think we've got a bike shop at the moment. Yeah, I agree with signs NOT up a tree
59:41 more fun, more fun.
Great video Brian - are you planning any international trips this summer
Not yet!
Awseome trail
Thanks!!
11:18 dude! You watch Zlaner too!? My two worlds colliding!
Drippin' in Heat!!
i watch your videos occasionally but 1st time i hear about the other builder guy. and i read description.
Awesome video and trail system. Can't believe you walked with e bike lol
Haha, gotta push hard!
Time for a bike repair shed, ride up and wash/repair. Have a few items for sale as well.
Most definitely! All in good time
What camera you use in your pov mtb videos?? Thank you
bkxc.bike/camera-gear
E-Bikes are allowed right ? And how far are from some lakes or rivers for family camping ?
Yep, eBikes are welcome! Lots of surrounding lakes and rivers. Look up Everstoke on Google Maps and you'll get a sense of the area.
If you want to lube the ebike chain, can you not just turn it upside down and pedal forward?
It's too damn heavy, hahaha. And there's so many cables and junk in the cockpit to get jostled.
@@bkxc another reason to stick with an analogue bike, basically haha
What is your plan for signage? I make vinyl signs, if you give me an idea on what you want I can send you a example.
That's pretty cool! We're thinking wood CNC at the moment, but there's a lot of info I'd like to place on them. Shoot me an email bk@bkxc.bike if you don't mind!
Just put an allen key in the chainring bolt hole... push back the cranckset and lube the chain...No more dirty hands
Ahhh!! Great idea
Very nice trail, wish I could ride it someday. Quick question, what happens if you encounter a bear or mountain lion? Or worse, Bigfoot 😅
The bears and mountain lions just run away. You do have to do MMA with bigfoot if you see one. No other choice.
Hahah, Bigfoot will be a tough one!
ebike is noisy right?
For video purposes, definitely. For regular riding I don't think you'd notice.
How did the beetle get up there???
It was abandoned in the national forest!
what kind of ebike you riding?
Ibis Oso
Nice!
Thanks!
Are you not afraid of the wild life, in the day no encounters? Can a e-bike out run a bear or a mountain lion?
A bear or mountain lion can run 2-3x faster than an e-bike on trails. I personally always carry bear spray and make lots of noise when riding in apex areas.
Not worried about it in the slightest
Where is everstoke? Would love to ride it
You can find it on Google maps!
Do I spy a little bit of a Zlaner stream watching going on?
Yup yup!!
Great video and I know the algorithm is changing but not many people have time for a 60 minute video. 15 is perfect
Thinking the same, and if nobody watches the full hour long videos, they must change it back to normal (10-2.0 min) watch time 🤷♂️🤞
Agreed. Not a fan of everyone switching to these super long videos, much prefer 10-15 minutes
The channel maker is not here to serve yall
@@ivanbejar5actually, they kind of are…
An hour video is fine with me I suffer from a long attention span😊
You need signage for the trails.
Most definitely! Project I'm working on in the background
@@bkxc awesome. I commented too soon as you talked about it later in the video. 😄 Can't wait to see it. My wife and I are seriously thinking of visiting there someday.
You should name one of the hubs, hubbub
Hahaha! That's good!
Funner & Funner...I like Funner.
Hahaha, yup!!
Is that the bike that’s so creaky?!
Yup, lots of sounds!
Why is your ebike making so much unnecessary noise?
Always has, always will!
59:17 - *by accident
Ha!

You guys looked to done great work those trails look great. !!!!
It's going pretty good so far!
I would love to come up and help work on the trails and offer my drone services for free
Awesome, hit up the website and I hope we can make it work: www.everstoke.bike/
Wow climbathon! Ebike required..
Big loops!
Some of these look like they would be miserable without an e-bike 😅
They can be pretty insane and painful. I've created a circuit that should keep that down to some really easy climbing and maximize the downhill fun. Just a couple tough turns! It's all very fun riding.
Just name what you said. " The easiest way to the top"?
Haha yup!!
try a smalla battree bike on a downhill….yuu might like it betta than that ibus 🚌 😄
Maybe!
Is e-bike just the way to go now? It def is a quiver killer in my mind.
They are tanks, I have one and a normal bike and I reach of the normal bike 90% of the time. DH is way funner on the normal bike.
My experience is: it is different. I like the e-bike to ride more often, but it does not feel the same as a lighter bike.
I think Brian's just using it to map out the trail for trailforks. Any other day, he'd be mechanical.
If you enjoy being fat and descending slowly sure! Normal bikes are faster downhill, which is why you mountain bike
I hate the ebike, haha!
Your e-bike sounds o-so awful! Still love the videos!
Hahahaha!
considering how much you dislike bike park riding, your partner build a bunch of mediocre bike park like trails that are very common for Southern California
No e bike please 😥
Whattttt?!
Always one 🤯🤪
Noob.
it's just for mapping out trails
Are you the property owner or somethin'?
How do e-bikers deal with that awful sound and shitty downhill performance?? And yanno their lack of fitness
Hahaha
Wow skinny's look even more incredible
