I just moved away from Wichita Falls to San Antonio after 4 years and I can tell you, Wichita Falls isn't a bad place. The part that they said about stores closing and leaving is actually true, and that sucks, but it wasn't really a bad place to live overall to me. My wife and I's major complaint was just that the major airports were two hours away in either Dallas or Oklahoma City, so you'd have to drive a bit and pay for parking for flights. There is an airport there in WF, but it's not very big. Although we were only there for a military move, I'd say overall, we enjoyed our time there.
