YES! my 6-3 off-suit wins! The biggest pot I ever won at 1/2 NL was at Foxwoods Casino in CT with 6-3 of hearts. After playing for 13 hours straight, running good and playing well, I was dead tired, and I announced it was my last hand and I would be playing any two cards I got. I limp in the 5 seat and the 9 seat raises to $10. Well, I'm not going anywhere for $8 more. Flop comes 2, 4, 5 rainbow. I check, he bets, I call. Turn is a blank, i check, he bets, i call. River is an Ace. I bet, he raises, I go all-in. He knows at this point that my luck is unbeatable today. He gives a crying call and sees the bad news. He had pocket Aces and got a set on the river. I thought he was going to physically attack me. After cashing out, I had to walk back past that table, and well well well, look who got a seat change an is now in my seat. LOL
our "typical" buy in for our micro stakes game is $20, but there is no limit or floor a $20 box gets you 40 nickles + 20 quarters + 10 1/2's + 8 dollars we have 8 boxes pre counted, plus 4 10 dollar boxes (half of each chip) plus some stacks of random extras usually our table has 6 or 7 players
Really loved the video! But I think I'm going with a T1500: 20 - 5$ 20 - 25$ 9 - 100$ Lots of chips is fun, 441chips 9 handed (blinds go up from 5/10 pretty quick). With some 1$ aswell I think I'm set for both tournaments and cash games! :3 My cash games will be pretty low stakes to attract friends, 1$=7kr in Norway, so a 1$ chip will count as 1kr for the stakes sake. Thanks again for great content!!
very interesting video. Problem is, I have been searching Google for 30 minutes looking for an answer to... A friendly nickel, dime quarter weekly game....$20 buy in.... What is the correct, if not best quantity of each denomination to start for each player? As in, how many nickels, dimes, quarter chips each? Know it is probably way above your level, but would be helpful for a few of us to feel more "informed" for a friendly game. thanks.
Wouldn't the Golden Ratio work? In fact, now that I've done the math, the Golden Ratio works perfectly. Stack Size: 100 chips Breakdown: $0.05 - 40 chips $0.10 - 30 chips $0.25 - 20 chips $1.00 - 10 chips Total: $20 For the actual chips, there's two ways to do denominations: Either you could buy $5, $10, $25, $100 denominations and simply divide by 100; or you could order a semi-custom set and have them actually print the cents on the chips. BR Pro Poker does an excellent job at semi-custom sets, so if you REALLY want the cents printed on the chips, they could do so for not much more money than a stock set.
I can't seem to find a place that sells the jumbo-size chips like those casinos use for $1k or $5k chips ... I love the bigger size but can't seem to find them anywhere if they do exist???
Where can I get collection of chips appraised? Older chips collection. Where do I sell the collection not to get ripped off. I'm in Wisconsin Thank you
I had recently heard of something you do in tournament poker called a color up. I want to know what a color up is and if you can give me an exemple, please.
thanks ive been stuck on diced chips for a while and they started to Chip of so i uad to get new oned i got 3 poker sets the outlaws tiki kings and montecarlo
Horseshoe Cincinnati and Championship Poker Series are the two chips seen. I suspect you are asking about the obsolete Horseshoe Cincinnati. If you like those you can sometimes find them on the classifieds on PokerChipForum.com or ebay. I'd also have a look at the Horseshoe Cleveland chips. Thanks for watching.
So lets say me and a few friends wanna get together for some casual play. Lets say four people at €10 a head €40 total pot. How can you break down chips to accommodate a setup like this but so it will last a decent amount of time?
rebuys, up to 3 tables means ypu can easy justify getting 2,000 chips and plaques, maybe a card shuffle machine. a dozen decks 4 colour plastic cards, projector to display blinds on the poker table.
I've seen them. Have you found a sample set? I personally like the more wild colored $25 and $5 chips in the Mint or Desert Heat sets. If you like the darker colors they will be just as good as any Claysmith metal slugged set. If you keep finding yourself back looking at that set, time to at least get a sample set or full set. Get what YOU like, not what I like. Hope that helps, thanks for watching
I want to buy a case for a long time i cant decide to go with micro takes or high stakes my friends arent that good at poker so i tought low stakes are maby easier to play but i tought it is maby more fun in the long run to have high stakes and use the poker series stack but its more difficult i think so yeah hope someone can share his or hers opinion on what i should buy on my first case also wondering where i can find nice quality chips in europe i saw the apache poker site it was all nice chips but i had to pay 160+ euro for shipping etc so i was wondering if i can order some nice chips somewhere in europe

I have 800 chips, I usually do tournaments of 8-10 people, it is the perfect amount.

what happens if i had only 50 1’s, 50 5’s and 50 10’s i would have 80 25’s tho, so how would my starting stack work?
Way too many chips per person bro.
Thanks... very helpful. Always confused and then I just hit the slots. This video is great!
Really loved the video!

do yall think it would be fine to use 10 1’s and 18 5’s for the cash game instead?

Hi what are the chips you are using in the demonstration for the cash games. The "Not aria" ones.
Where can I get collection of chips appraised? Older chips collection.
Where do I sell the collection not to get ripped off.
I'm in Wisconsin
Thank you
The question is what are the chip values for a $5 game tournament with one rebuy?
I had recently heard of something you do in tournament poker called a color up. I want to know what a color up is and if you can give me an exemple, please.
Hi there, just wondering why you haven't reviewed the Atlantic club chips from classic poker chips company. Do you not rate these? Thanks
thanks ive been stuck on diced chips for a while and they started to Chip of so i uad to get new oned i got 3 poker sets the outlaws tiki kings and montecarlo
Oooh, I see by your website chart that you rebel against the Golden Ratio. Quite bold.
I got 2 pair: Kings over 10s
In the start i dealt myself 5 of clubs 3 of hearts. You won.
This was actually great. I'm trying to get a monthly tournament going on with 16 people.
Curious to how it went/is going?
Towards the end of the video, what chips did you use for the cash game example? They look nice.

3-of-a-kind: 6’s with a Jack and a 9.

A flat screen, a couple cocktail waitresses, maybe a Bengal tiger. You know, the essentials
I have like 8 people including myself and we are trying to do a tournament but I run out of $500 chips.
POCKET KINGS BABY 🤑
Pocket Jacks! I get lucky when the stakes are low!
Looking for a set as close to Paulsons I’m leaning toward the majestics are they good I’ll be just playing cash 1/2 2/5 no limit
Was thinking
600 $1 white
600 $5 red
200 $25 Green
100 $100 Black
@@jbarres80 Classic Poker Chips will get you way closer to Paulson than Majestics. Majestics chips are just plastic.
have you ever own or seen a set of showdown chips by claysmith. ? im looking to buy a set but not 100% sure if i wanna pull the trigger.
