I'm not sure but ,if anyone else wants to uncover reddit learning to play poker try Giizabauth Greenback Generator (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my partner got great results with it.
I have a beautiful poker table, copags and real clay chips (not those cheaper metal slug chips mind you). Spared no expense! The only thing I'm missing is that it's no longer 2007 and finding players is basically impossible.
That sucks :( I'm young so I've got friends at school with who I'm able to play. But at work, or just friends, it's pretty difficult to find some people who like poker and actually play it. Have you found some in the meantime ? :D
For a home game single table tourney, you don't want the levels to go up after a certain number of minutes. You should do orbits instead. If you start as the dealer, then on your third (or second, or fourth) time dealing, the blinds raise. This keeps it fair for everyone at the table and prevents anyone from being able to take advantage of how little time is left in the round. Time is used for MTTs because that is the only way to keep it fair without having to go hand for hand around the room.
Sounds like the old William Hill sit n gos before they moved to ipoker. Ive never been a fan of it live tho because when people just fold and fold the blinds just go up too fast
You mentioned the chip value, but I don’t think you mentioned how many chips you gave out per player. Also, did you mention the value of green? Just wanted to know because i also wanted to host a poker game soon, but i wanted to do the same as yours. I’d really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.
I host home games almost every weekend..man how I’d love to see so many bad all-ins pre-flop, especially when we are no limit unlimited buys all night. Still looked fun playing young style!
Well, one very helpful suggestion would be to not play on glass. It's a terrible surface to handle cards, has no cushion for chip splash, and you can SEE through it. Your dogs will know what you're holding!
Excuse my ignorance but you said you’re starting the blinds at 25/50, you’ve got $100/$500/$1000 chips... where’s the change to actually start the 25/50 blinds?
Thanks for the upload, it's great to see plenty of interest in home games being played in the UK, looking to host one soon and needed a bit of a refresh as i haven't played in ages, just the thing i was looking for! I do miss the poker boom era. Just need to get some players now :)
home cash games are better because people can rebuy anytime. compare that to a tournament where people get knocked out and then get bored. i use 5 cent chips and make a standard buy-in $5, so poor people wont be scared away. i put $5 worth of chips in each ziploc bag to make buy-ins quick and easy. try to invite more people than you need because there will be no shows. print out poker hand ranks to give to new players
I'd love to know where you got the cards with the big font and 4 colors for each suit, my buddy we play with has trouble seeing the suits sometimes so i've been looking for decks like that
Hello Jaime, I greet you from Argentina. I wanted you to help me. I want to organize a poker tournament and win money. Should I charge a registration and that would be my profit? What would you recommend me?. Thank you.
This is very nice... We do a lot of home games here in Brazil and we have the same jokes, attitudes and fun that u have... We really enjoy a lot! Thanks for sharing this with us... seeya
Awesome content last couple of weeks, could u maybe make a video about how and where to study mtt strategy (it would be nice if u tell us about free places to study, not only RYE :D)
That isn't really what I would consider a home game. A home game for me is a cash game. Which basicly means if you don't know the players get the same amount of chips they buyin for. For example is you buyin for 30 then you get 30 in chips buyin for 100 then you get 100 in chips and the blinds always stay the same. So 1/1, 3/5, 5/10 ect.
Robert MacPherson just because he isn’t using a PokerStars chip set does not mean he’s been dropped 😂 we organised the game the night before having it. I don’t think chip sets grow wings and magically appear the next day. Relax 😂
I like the way you guys kept it to NLHE because you knew the mixed games specialist AKA Beccarr94 AKA The Harrogate Hurricane would have crushed your souls
I've been doing home poker games for the last 20 years. I had a 3000€ table 10 leather chairs with wheels. I had personalized poker chips worth 3000€. I hired a professionnel dealer. Hot waitress. Message Lady. Ex military doorman at the Bottom of the condo and a private taxi for the players. The players could eat Sushi or whatever they wanted to order. You had to be on a guestlist. Only whales over 30 years old. Minimum 1000€ buyin blinds 5-10 then 10-20 then 20-40 near the peak of the game. I raked every pot 5%. That's how to do it not this amateur!
You forgot the beers mate
Not much a drinker but I agree with you. Alcohol a good addition
Im half trolling, its nice either way :)
You forgot soft drinks and also cocaine and bootleg cigars

Thats how fights start...

How was your poker game? And what values did you use?
@@Zotnamm 8 green for 25, 8 black for 100, 6 blue for 500 and 1 yellow or white for 1000.
That's pretty much what you need to start with blinds 25/50
@@PaulOliveiiira ok thanks
@@PaulOliveiiira 23 chips? 😅
Essential items:
- Felt table
- Poker chips
- Cash
- Cold cuts, cheese, nuts, and chips
- Beer and liquor
- Cigars
- 2 helpers to serve the drinks and snacks
You forgot the cards... Pretty essential would say, you can also just do some drawing beforehand, and do it on some paper.
Cigars are a must.

How did u divide the chips ?
Nice Vid. In my home game each player brings a good bottle of wine as a bounty. Some bounties are opened during the second game!
steve kagan that’s a good idea 💡
What a great idea man.
Men drink whiskey, Steve.

i plan on doin a similar thing with a tourney like once a week or so.. A game for us broke stoners to chill and have some fun lol
Glass table is such a genius move. I can pretend to drop a snack and pick it up and look at everyone's cards
jaime is the type of guy who plays tight in a homegame :DD
Gotta make the right plays man!
Thanks for helping me with my racketeering operation. Much appreciated‼️
🤣😂😂😂😂😂
Poor guy is going to lose thousands in the upcoming months due to one night of beginners kuck... LMAO
bahahah the accuracy of this comment :D
Moon is flying high for sure.
Yeah but how does the host/house make money?
U made the making of this soooo connected to the viewer and it was very exciting.

Where did you get the cards from

How did you factor in extra chips for re-buys?
Nice vid man 👍👍 i like how you got a trophy haha allways look forward to seeing ya content. Legend
Cheers Sam thanks man.
Why do you flip one off before the river and the last card
That's the way the casinos do it.
There's one flipped off before the flop too.
Just watch out for THESE types of characters showing up to your Home Game! ruclips.net/video/OjaFz39Xb5g/видео.html
Where can I get a poker rule book, so I can make sure the correct winning hand gets the pot properly
I did not expect a game outa this. So hype lol
I take video with my phone below table glass so that I see what is others card and play the video while act texting
Don't invite me if there no drink there, ya definitely need a bucket load of ice cold beers!
Awesome home game. You nailed the basic requirements down to the plastic chips.
The only detail missing is the correct spelling of 'leauge'. :)
Derek Steffan damn it 😅 I got it right the first time and then something went wrong - nice pick up man
Interesting video! You didnt play post flop that much though
Matias Jokinen bit hard with 15 min blind structures haha but always fun to flip it up
Really cool! More!
More home games confirmed!
Why not get a table slate or at least some felt.

In my state it’s illegal to play poker at home there was a guy that got sued over two million dollars for playing poker for big money
What's the background song at the end?
