    Man, I really appreciate the work you’ve done! I made my own tournament yesterday. I mentioned all the rules that you’ve noticed in your video. We got 10 players and 2 tables.
    Could you please tell me more precise about the rebuys and addons? I mean, I made it like this: unlimited amount of rebuys until the first 30 min break, and also made only one opportunity to add on at any time of the game. Or they can add on only after the break??
    Anyway, thank you for your video. You made my day and I won the third place of that tournament I organise!

    • @DEEIWHY
      @DEEIWHY Год назад +1

      And also make my own notices that I need more chips (we have enough, but they are all different type). I need my own hdmi cable, cause the place didn’t have it’s own. I also can speed the blind system for 17-18 minutes, because after 4 hours there were 6 of us playing (of 10)

    • @One2ManyHobbies
      @One2ManyHobbies  Год назад

      The add-on is only offered at the dinner break & this is when the re-buys stop. Someone with little chips left, can choose to surrender their chips at the break, re-buy & add on as well. After the dinner break is over, re-buys & add-ins stop. This way as a tournament director, your done, just play poker & worry about seats if you have more than one table.

    • @One2ManyHobbies
      @One2ManyHobbies  5 месяцев назад +1

      We shuffle behind, using 2 decks. Whoever just felt, shuffles his own cards, then when the hand is over, the dealer will cut the new deck to his left & oss to his right to start dealing the next hand, dealer who just dealt the hand shuffles for the following hand for the new dealer to grab them, cut them & pass to their right after their hand is over.

    Hey man, I hope you’re well. I really enjoyed the video but I have a lingering question. Why do you recommend 2 chips sets for cash and for tourneys? Is it just because you run a cash game with the tournament at the same time ( in which case I totally get it). Or is that not relevant. For example I host a night a week and every fourth night is a tournament. There is only one type of game at a time. Would you still recommend two sets, and if so why. Thank you in advance.

    • @One2ManyHobbies
      @One2ManyHobbies  7 месяцев назад

      B/c I run them over lapping each other and the denominations are different. And it prevents sticky fingers or someone bringing in the same chips to your cash game. I would recommend them.

      @@One2ManyHobbies ok, thanks. But I think that I'll use just one table, for cash game but also for the tournament, also because I haven't a big house with a garage or a cellar. I mean, I know that for the cash game is enough only one table as you say, but I just say that my home is not big enough for many tables unfortunately, so I'll have to make do with just one table.

    it is illegal for any person or organization to operate a game of chance or to play or bet on any game of chance that involves winning money, property or anything of value. Violators shall be guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor. GS 14-292.
    You need to post a video of the cops raiding your home poker tournament or cash game, and hauling you off to the pokey.

    $80? i think that is a lot for me that is like 15 work hours
    when i host a tournament we play with a € 10 buy in works perfectly for us as the winner gets €100
