- A very funny man gets in the car, it's Rich Fulcher, him off of The Mighty Boosh.
Carpool Podcast on iTunes @ bit.ly/CarpooliTunes
ABOUT CARPOOL:
Carpool is an online show hosted by Robert Llewellyn (Red Dwarf, Scrapheap Challenge, Fully Charged), who gives a wide variety of passengers a lift in a hybrid or electric car and they talk. It's as simple as that. Previous guests include Stephen Fry, David Mitchell, Charlieissocoolike and Jim Jeffries. - Развлечения
I miss the Boosh, wish they had done more. Rich Fulcher's characters were all so amazing.
It was Julian’s fault
@@PW-le6cr why?
My favourite aspect of Rich is that he has to actually tone himself down when acting.
"So... long story short, but still long, because I told it already" HAHAHAHA!
Fulcher is a genius!
Normally Rich grates on me a little bit (like in the commentary for Boosh), but I actually found this whole interview hilarious. When he's a little more laid back and just creatively rambling, he produces gold.
Hello from September 2023. This is still so funny. (I’ve been watching Snuff Box clips).
Its good to see him talk casually cause its rare to see him out of character on TV.
It seems to me that he _is_ his characters
"Have you ever been in an accident in Carpool?"
"No."
"Well, this is the first!"
Oh God! Crying with laughter right now!!!
For those of you unfamiliar with Mr. Fulcher's work:
He's Bob Fossil and his anger is colossal!
Hope this helps.
Rich Fulcher is the 14 year old kid who tells you to do stuff with your car that you know you shouldnt but cant help but want to due to his charismatic loud nature...
I just stumbled across this, and all I can say is OH MY COMEDY GOD. THANKYOU
Rich Fulcher gives me Laughsma ;)
He has his own sense of humor. Love it. It works better in UK
I wonder if Seinfeld ever gave Robert Llewellyn some acknowledgment for coming up with this concept?
I loved rich's response to rob saying you should get one of them suits, showed a no
I'd love to have Rich Fulcher in my car and have hilarious coversations like these. :D
"what are you doin?!" haha
22:02 love this guy - king of zany improv
'Feature film' I think is when they used to have double-films, and films with loads of cartoons etc on the side in the old, old days of cinema. I think the 'feature' film was the main course of what you went there to see.
18:08 what I was expecting from fulcher at some point in this interview lol
I think the difference (in my head anyway) is that a film can just be a video of any length - like an art film. But a feature film has a whole story and is a single feature.
YEAH Rich Fulcher!
Wow a Red Dwarf Boosh/Snuff Box Mashup.
He's Mamma Cass' son
aww man, this was so damn funny, i laughed non-stop from beginning to end.
In the film industry, a feature film is a film made for initial distribution in theaters and being the main attraction of the screening, rather than a short film screened before it; a full length movie. The term is also used for feature length, direct-to-video and television movie productions.
Really I've shamefully caught on late to Carpool, but it's utterly superb!
He's still just as funny and crazy.
Thought Robert was going to implode when Rich said he wanted his tombstone sponsored!
still no Boosh...Robert, do a car pool with Matt Berry
I love Rich, he's hilarious
In them olden days of theatre-going your movie had 'support acts', if you went to see Casablanca you would have an hour or so of Warner Bros. cartoons, adverts asking you to support causes, short films and artsy fartsy stuff. Because of all that your main feature would be known as the 'feature film'. ie. the headliner.
yeah, that WAS the whole evening's entertainment, not just a part of the night like today. Favorite memories was going to the drive-in as a kid and they would have 2 cartoons, a B film, then the A film. Back in the twenties they used to give away pieces of glassware as a promotion to go to the movies (or cinema.)
*rolls down window* WHADDYA DOIN?! lol
Rich is just brilliantly funny. The cheese song (and the accompanying dance moves) is one of many highlights. 🙏🏽🤡
"Cheese is a kind of meat,
I milk it from my teat,
Ooh, cheese... Ooh, cheese!
🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀
A masterpiece! ✌🏼😄👍🏼
😘👌🏼
i love rich
now we need car pools with noel, julian and mike xD the whole set
Very late comment...Love it, thanks!
He’s a legend
Funniest carpool!!!
He regretted it because he only attempted to talk to him, didn't actually talk to him.
great show just two guys having a laugh
Funniness is here.
I love the Boosh :) soo funny!
laughsma!
Fucking hell what happened with the Boosh??? I don't want a film... I want series 4...
i have just been to a pub in Leicester for a meal and the guy who runs it sounds just like Rich Fulcher
"have you ever been in an accident in Carpool?" "No.." "WELL THIS IS THE FIRST!" - :')
18:33 lol
Rich would be funny in any situation, possibly a tragic one
Snuff box was his best
Wondered why I didn't recognise the Godawful titles & theme music; I see this is the programme in it's original form, which I hadn't known was as a podcast via iTunes (& Rob's website), (long) before it was picked up by Dave. I'd thought it was a Dave original format but I guess they were just the first tv channel to air it. I see also from the suggested vids from this channel that there's many more eps than I remember catching on Dave, so I presume they didn't use them all.
EDIT: Checked the Wiki, as you do, and I was right in that there were only 10 eps aired on Dave and I'd forgotten that they doubled up the guests on them, so that a 2nd passenger was shown after the break. I'd also forgotten that they buried it at the end of the nightly schedule in the small hours (probably why it didn't go beyond a 1st series). I also notice that the 1st tv ep was aired just 5 days before this online ep was uploaded. Rich Fulcher was not one of the 20 Dave guests btw.
"THIS IS THE FIRST!"
I love Boosh.
Christopher Hitchens little brother.
LMAO!Luv it
everyone has the saville-mania haha
LOVE IT!!! going to have to watch them all. HEY, interview BILLIE JOLENE!! She's a chain smoking, thunderbird wine drinking, hot mess diva on the lookout for a man. So is her bestie, pill-popping friend Bobby Ray.
Yes, basically (wiki, right?). 40's the prerequisite but it's the desired and now required length of "the film the audience came to see". Feature or 'Featured' Films come after the News Reels and cartoons and sometimes short films. It's an old term from the days when theaters were like RUclips, basically. Any visual information was shown, before and in the early days of television. It still comes up on movie screens ;it used to on T.V. movies, even rental movies " And now, our Feature ".
WHISKEY!
God Rich is soo funny! Lol
I LIVE IN MASSACHUSETTS!!! :D
Sure it's been said before, but the host should of worn his Kryten costume for this interview. Would fit a Fulcher interview.
@thelleht Try to find out: your fantastic journey to Boosh Land begins here..
subo ... subot. hahaha
The shroom channel 😂
Rich Fulcher, so funny! I wish they hadn't wasted so much time talking about Boosh though, nothing 'bout Snuff Box?
BOB FOSSIL
People like different things. Simple as.
Snuff box
Yay! Rich is brill! ;) FOSSIL IS GOD!
Weird. I actually like Fulcher here, whereas in the Boosh he makes me want to pluck my eyes out.
I hated him so much in the Boosh. But it wouldn't be Mighty enough without him. It's a very delicate mixture of characters. Strangely, the more I see Rich, the more I see his sunny side. He seems to be a really nice guy. I wish I could feel this comfortable and relaxed saying and doing silly things.
watch snuff box, it's delightfully grim
@ctcentralinfo what are you on about?
If I was doing a show that took place in a car, I'd get a cooler car.
ok Jerry Seinfeld! Make a show why don't you!
Adult swim was good before fucking Squidbillies. I tried to watch that and my brain immediately started drooling.
haha cant wait for the sexbots
Why? Have a bad experience?
@waitingformypopcorn No idea what you're talking about. I wasn't born there--far from it, but there are plenty.
I usually enjoy carpool.
+Paul J That's fascinating.
Im happy for you
I'd get a headache with all the yelling... funny chap though.
The host is a total homeschool...
that doesen't make sense, how can it be insensitive? you realise they recorded this ages ago...
I love Robert very much...but I think the laughing gets a bit too much after a while. I can tell he's forcing it at times, and getting tired with laughing, and that makes me feel uncomfortable on behalf of both of them. He reminds me of him.
How can they both not know what a feature film is? Odd.
SEXBOT!!!!!!!!
i love fulcher but his podcast (gone riffin)with some other guy is quite annoying.
Just shouting random bollocks is only funny for a short time.
Wow this guy just copied jerry sienfeld coffee w comedians in cars they should call this tea w twats in autos
Even worse: he ripped off Seinfield's idea and then went back in time to start his series 3 years before Jerry did! What an absolute twat!
