- Magda Skarbonkiewicz is some strange mix of Zagunis and Yakimenko, surely a perfect recipe for success?

What's next for Magda Skarbonkiewicz?
What a self-confidence... When she makes double-intention actions the acceleration is brutal and when she is defending she keep the calm like "c'mon hurry up please because this is saber and we don't have all day".
I’m an épée fencer and therefore only know about Magda’s results. This is my first time watching her fencing, and good lord.
The most unique fencer I've seen in a very long time. She has the potential to change the game. Will defintiely be keeping an eye on this one.
That back foot hop she's got! Very clever!
I've been fencing for long than she's been alive and she's already done stuff I will never come close to matching. Incredible physicality and great sense of distance and timing. I know it'll never happen, but I'd love to see her fence against guys like Oh and Szilagyi.
She will make being able to do splits mandatory for the next 5 years at the top levels of play
I’ve fenced her before she’s insanely good it scares me
Her coach and father is Polish. Doesn't suprise she rocks! >:)
Wow, she fights as if she were some videogame boss, if you try to hit her, you get hit
lol.. father is a coach... damn lucky....
had a friend whose grandfather was a Hungarian coach.. he was an awesome fencer and his grandad used to be at the comps and give him instructions in Hungarian... peter was an awesome fencer
Amazing how many times she gets away with that high outside line closeout.
Her father Adam was an incredible fencer and a really nice guy. Saw him fence in the 90s.He has done a lot to grow the sport in the US. I hope she sticks with it.
Buikevich: I have a worthy successor
It would be realy interesting to have a point of view in front of her or from upside and not just from the side (as the referee point of view) because considering the way that she parees, I think she has an uncommon armwork (if it's the equivalant term of footwork but for the arm). I think she often feints parees to lure her opponent (mostly right-handed) in a area where they mainly attack (in a two right-handed confrontation) and waits them to go in the trap. I hope we will have more point of view in the future because fencing is defenitly not a 2D sport
Weaponized flexibility 💪
0:12....she must've watched that one Elsissy action.
0:34....are you ^#%&ing KIDDING me? (I imagine Gu saying this, since he does splits of often).
Can you imagine a bout between between Skarbonkiewicz and Pustilnik id they fenced the same weapon??
She used to be my nanny😂❤
Yay! Another lefty! 😁😁
Seen that last name before.....
Im not sure when
think i fenced her brother?
Go Magda !!
Her signature move is the splits
Wow 👌
She no doubt has great abilities, especially that very very impressive flexibility and a great sense of distance, but watching her fence is just annoying.
What about technics?
some gu bongil actions over here
Why is she on the left in almost every bout? Is this somehow rating-ralated?
And also is there a fan club of hers or something, i dunno
She is left handed. Left handers are put on the left side so that both fencers are facing the referee.
@@SlicerSabre but if both side are left hander?
@@user-cc9sm9xt8t then it's the same as when both fencers are right handed and it doesn't matter
😊😎
why does fencing look like two kids having pretend sword fights with wiffle ball bats?
Lmao, well because sabre isn't about the pressure you exert on the other person, it's just about getting the touch to register
