OMG the wet & wild. I remember the ones that had the directions with the little picture of where to apply each shade - the brow bone color, inner, corner ... I used to copy the instructions. Actually not the bad but blending was eh 😂

I also remember that you loved the Burt's Bee blush in toasted cinnamon and the one and only time i got a reply from you was when I asked how is it possible that you haven't hit pan in that blush yet? And you replied that you honestly have no idea. Ahh good times. Another really old bronzer that you used to love was the NYC bronzer with the stripes called Montauk Bronze. I'm 34 years old and never owned one high end make up product in my life 🤦I wish I could afford to go to high end, but I don't think that's ever going to be possible when I'm forever stuck in survival mode with so many expenses. I want at least one product one day, so I can see if it really is worth the money and to see what it's like verses drugstore brands. ☹️

And when they told me the prices I clutched my Pearls! I could not afford their prices and I had to work with drugstore and Beauty supply store makeup. That’s what I used to learn how to do makeup. I got my first highend eyeshadow palette from subscribing to Boxycharm. They only had one box back then and it was $19.99 a month. That’s how I built my collection. When you get in front of your bills, treat yourself and get a makeup subscription that you like what you see from them. There’s quite a few at $25 and you can skip months when you don’t have the budget for it. Don’t feel bad, you will get there. I never thought I would have the collection I have now. But keeping it real, I’ve spent way too much money on makeup. We used to say, “RUclips made me buy it”, when a product is everywhere and everyone says it’s the Best thing ever. Don’t fall for that.

It's embarrassing to admit, but I have never been to Ulta or Sephora once in my life until last month for my first time ever! Lmao. I'm pretty behind in life because of a personal thing I've been facing that has literally taken life away from me. Until I can recover from that, I don't think I will ever get ahead. It's going to take a lot to get better from, but I just gotta do it. I dream of having a nice make up collection and nice skin care products as well. Ugh it would be so nice! I was 50 years old when I decided to stop lying to myself, that I’m just a lipstick and mascara girl, and I admitted that I didn’t know how to apply makeup and I didn’t want to look like a clown. I thought as a woman I should have automatically known how to apply makeup LoL. I created me a RUclips account and searched Drag Queens LoL. At that point I had never been to Sephora either. I’m 58 years old now and I regret that I wasn’t brave enough to ask someone to show me how to apply foundation, eyeshadow, etc… looking back, I wonder how I thought I should know how when no one ever showed me. Anyway don’t beat up on yourself. I’ve faced a lot of things in life, health issues, I’ve been in recovery for the majority of my adult life. Speak positive things for you and your future.

The age remind concealer always comes back in my collection it’s literally amazing! I try others even high end but this one is so easy to blend, light weight, medium to full coverage, 0 creasing when I set with power literally all day, seamless on the skin, and affordable!

I love that yellow, it looks so beautiful! When matte products were really in style, I was obsessed with the tarte shape tape. Now that I'm actually catering to my skin type (dry), I've been obsessed with the nars soft matte. It's so much lighter in formula, and I put a hydrating primer underneath and I feel like I look much more youthful than when I was younger! Great video Kathleen

I literally started watching RUclips in 2011 that was 10 years ago i was 13..discovered Katleen in 2012 a year after her first video and binge watched all of them continued watching her...im here to this day love her literally grew up with her.
i still use all these products all the time, the concealer is my fave in my collection, better than most releases now, and that foundation is absolutely beautiful, formula has never changed is why i love it.

I was literally thinking as you were applying the lumi primer about how strong and bad that primer use to smell and kept waiting for you to mention it. lol I bought it off of your recommendation years ago and couldn't force myself to wear it more than a few times because the smell bothered me so much and I'm not even someone who is particularly sensitive to smells. Also, I do remember it being quite slippery so maybe they changed the formula? It use to have more of an oily texture to it.

Revlon lip butters, wet n wild comfort zone palette, nyx milk pencil, covergirl lash blast TAKES ME BACK.
Instant age rewind is amazing! They expanded the shade range a few years ago and I was even more in love with it.
I still use/love Maybelline age rewind concealer, would love to see more videos like this one 💕

I love that yellow, it looks so beautiful! When matte products were really in style, I was obsessed with the tarte shape tape. Now that I'm actually catering to my skin type (dry), I've been obsessed with the nars soft matte. It's so much lighter in formula, and I put a hydrating primer underneath and I feel like I look much more youthful than when I was younger! Great video Kathleen

@@emilyrosep1787 I know it's technically not a primer but I've been loving the Weleda Skin Food in Ultra Rich (I have really dry skin)! I put a bit on my skin, and I look hydrated, healthy, and glowy!
The true match lumi range was really good. The primer defo had a very perfumed smell and I remember back in the day we all just wanted a dupe for MAC Strobe Cream 🤣

I remember the first video of Kathleen I watched was a pinky smokey eye for valentine's day. Funny enough it was recommended by another RUclipsr I was watching at the time and now I can't even remember who it was lol. I have been watching Kathleen since 2015, and honestly this channel brings me so much joy and comfort. Something about Kathleen just keeps me coming back to her videos. An oldie but goodie for me was the nyc liquid eyeliner! Until this day I haven’t been able to find a dupe. Jordana cocoa lipliner and natural lipliner inside! and the pink and green máscara from maybelline

I remember being a kid and wanting that age rewind concealer so bad! I used to watch beauty RUclips so much back then, still now, but more so back in the day... man it really reminds me how much of a positive impact RUclips has had on me. I was literally thinking as you were applying the lumi primer about how strong and bad that primer use to smell and kept waiting for you to mention it. lol I bought it off of your recommendation years ago and couldn't force myself to wear it more than a few times because the smell bothered me so much and I'm not even someone who is particularly sensitive to smells. Also, I do remember it being quite slippery so maybe they changed the formula? It use to have more of an oily texture to it.

I still use the Age Rewind concealer, it's a staple in my collection. I do pull the little sponge tip off, though, the squishy sound weirds me out.
