I believe that exercise is healthy way to heal trauma! Be reduced stress and redirecting anger/distress signals trapped in the limbs!

Thank you for mentioning exercise. Yes, exercise might be a good, healthy way to cope with trauma. Mild to moderate exercise activities release serotonin and might even help in reducing the development of cognitive decline.

One thing you reminded me of was the DBT skill Non-Judgementally (sitting here stating - "I'm sitting here today and I'm feeling depressed" no bias just an upfront statement on the situation).

Thank you for watching the video and for sharing. Btw, you can name feeling depressed. For example: “I’m sitting here today with Jim Bob.”

You mentioned in one of your videos that there are multiple issues that someone who was physically abused their entire childhood will face in their emotional recovery. I've decided to get Lisa Romano's audio course on boundary building but I think you would be the best choice for helping me to recover. What do you recommend for starters ?

all work and no play--Who said all work and no play makes Jack a dull?
This saying appeared first in James Howell's Proverbs in English, Italian, French and Spanish (1659), and was included in later collections of proverbs. Some writers have added a second part to the proverb: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, All play and no work makes Jack a mere toy.

If you dont understand what traumatized you and why it occurred....you can't heal from it. We spend years ignoring what caused the trauma and that in itself is traumatizing. Its like you arent addressing the root cause.

the hard thing about the forest fires in Canada are they are always a threat. it's never over until a snowfall.
also, it's not just emotional trauma - it's physical poisoning.
just as you start recovering, another one could hit due to the country's forest mismanagement.
