ii_MDMN 8 I took chem in 10th grade also and just forgot everything. I don't know if you're planning to go to college, but chem in college is the exact same material as you learn in high school, it's just harder to make an A because normally colleges use chem as a freshman weed out class.

The point here is that you need the charges to balance: for example, you need two (2) Na+ to balance out one (1) O 2-. So if you understand how that works, then yeah you can use the criss-cross method, but PLEASE make sure that you understand how these charges balance out.
