I’m going into the live action with zero expectations, there’s probably a good reason michael and brian left it. Avatar studios however is the best thing that could have happened for us, I’m very excited about that.
Yh exactly. Me personally, I wanted to audition for Sokka but I'm not sure; my enthusiasm has somewhat faded with the lack of news and Bryke's departure. But If they do the Open Casting Call, and I hopefully get the part. I'll make sure you get the best Sokka interpretation for Sokka since Desena.
PS- I like your mentality on the live action. A lot of people feel bitter about because they let their PTSD of the movie get ahead of them.

I would looooveee to see a series about the next adventures of Team Aang up until they're grown up! Doesn't have to be the same as the comics like the Promise and the Search. I just love Team Aang and I think Aang is the best
I love zutara so much but I do not want them to make them a thing in this new live action series! Kataang was endgame for a reason i hope they don’t continue to change more.
If Katara end up with Zuko, then Aang should at least end up with Meng 😂

@kawaii chan Sokka and Toph are the only ones out of the main group that the relationships aren't clearly stated (like who they marry). I thought Sokka and Suki were adorable, but I also thought tophs one sided affection was cute lol
I've heard a theory that sokka is the father of Tophs first born (I think that the two daughters she has are half siblings, could be wrong though). The problem with her, is that in Korra, she is literally alone out in the jungle just being toph 🤣

Cause I also really liked Zuko and Mai's relationship (it was surprisingly mature for a kids show, like going through separation/needing space, being angry but still caring, forgiveness, etc)
Take the age change news with a heavy pinch of salt. That news was a rumor generated to rile up fans.
It's safe to assume anything about the show that isn't officially released by Netflix isn't true, as that's been the case ever since Bryan and Michael left the show.
Oh absolutely, I only see it as a rumor thats just roaming around. I won’t believe it until Netflix confirms it or releases an official statement. I just felt like this news needed to be shared just so folks had an idea of what could happen and etc. Thanks for watching though mate, appreciate it!

Just wanted to put this out there so people watching don't take it as fact. The same way it did on other platforms when it was first published.
The theatrical films might be the adaptations of the comic books, I dont think they would want to squish a storyline of an entire avatar into a few movies, where the bar is already set so high for character and world development in the series.

I also liked Zuko's relationship with Mai. I thought they were really cute and I loved their character/relationship development

I would like to know more informatiom about the new avatar series... i would lile to see what happened after aang groving up, and i would like to see a new earth bander avatar too. And does it has a chance that this year will come out this series?
they shouldn't change the age they have no right to do that, I personally think its stupid

I'm probably the only one here who is indifferent to any of this. I hate when the creators are still trying to milk this franchise instead of creating something more original.
They tried it with LoK and it was a mixed success/failure. I'm really not getting my hopes up. If they did this 10 years ago it would have been a different story.
I think it's better they make stories about previous avatars and don't mess with technologies and spirit world anymore like they did in Kora
The only issue with Anag being 12 in live action is that boys grow pretty fast so it would look weird when there meant to be the same age like with the movie a quite place the boy grew and voice got deeper and the movie is meant to take place a few hours later from the first one he is still a kid but it looks funny Cause he looks much older If there going to make him 12 they may need to use a younger actor so it fits because in the few years they make the show
