Thank you! This was a very clear precise and easy to follow tutorial, most go too fast. I also truly appreciated the two strum patterns and three chord progressions.
Thanks for the video. I usually follow (and teach) a three finger approach (thumb plays string 3 or 4), but the ability to use all four fingers is good, too!
Thanks just the right speed I could see the strings better.for a total beginner most vids dont show the strings close enough and hand in way of camera. As a total beginner trust me seeing the persons face is less important.now I have to search what the heck a chord progression is lol
Hi David, it's not exactly a course but I do have a "ukulele for beginners series" of lessons covering fundamentals. Here's a link to the playlist: bit.ly/39cof7s Thanks for the question!
@@barbarahoffman2626 I also play baritone ukulele (they are the best! :). You can start by putting a capo on your fifth fret - this will bring you up to the standard tuning on Lara’s low G tenor and probably will make it easier to follow the tutorials. Once you’re comfortable with the sound - remove the capo. The chord shapes will still work but you will just be playing the same melody in a slightly different key.
Heart of Kentucky. Hi LARA. Beautiful pickin'. I would like to donate to you, but my bank had requested I don't use my debit card on the internet. That's why I asked if you had a PO Box. Katie.
That's very kind of you Katie. Currently I accept donations through Paypal or Buy Me A Coffee but not through the mail. Glad you enjoyed the picking! 😊
Thank you for teaching so well. I am getting on with my practice! I finally get it!
Wonderful! You are so welcome! 🤗

When you show examples it would be helpful to give us the chords so that we can play along
I've created tutorials for each of the songs in the examples so you can play along to the full songs 😊
Hi g doesn't suite finger picking really sounds so out of place that's why I want a low g ukulele too
Low G is really beautiful for fingerpicking 😊
She said it a tenor g something so I suppose that is why it sounds different
No sound
You need to turn more. I can't completely see
