    If I use an IC card from shinjuku do I need to tap my card on otsuki station, or do I just pass the gates?

    • @wearelostinjapan
      @wearelostinjapan  6 месяцев назад +2

      Tap it on transfer gate at Otsuki station! You don't need to go exit gate if you have an IC card!

      Hi! Thanks for watching! Unfortunately most of the train from Takao to Otsuki, there are no digital screens. The best to way to get Kawaguchiko Sta is to take limited express! It's way faster and you can save up your time!

    I'm coming to Japan for the 1st time next year February and i'm planning to go Mt Fuji as well...My question is if i purchased Welcome Suica card can i used it for all the train untill Kawaguchiko Station from Shinjuku station or i have to purchased ticket again at some of the station heading to Kawaguchiko...Hope you be able to answer me and sorry if my question a bit confused you😁

    • @wearelostinjapan
      @wearelostinjapan  10 месяцев назад

      Hi there! Thanks for your comment! It's great to hear that your are coming to Japan! And the answer is YES. You can use Welcome Suica all the way to Kawaguchiko Station! If you don't have a Suica card and going there with physical tickets, you need to buy a ticket at Otsuki Station. I highly recommend book a highway bus or Limited Express train seat in advance! It's much easier and faster than local train.
