I am not surprised to see Blue Mage, Ninja, Samurai and Chemist all feature as the main jobs used at some point in the run been pretty much the best jobs in the game
yeah thats honestly an extremely prevalent issue throughout all of FF5.... i mean most of the early ff games are like that, now that i think about it, but 5 in particular seemed to just constantly be vague and open-ended with its story progression.
@@croatiancowboy probably why in ff7 they started highlighting the dialogue where to go. it was much easier, i remember playing the original psx version in the late 90s and never lost as where to go
@@loginavoidence12 Its just a culture change thing as games evolve. I mean think about the difference between morrowind and skyrim. No real fast travel, no markers, a literal journal that contains all your quests. Daggerfall is even worse in that regard lol. in FF5 though i do think it's more of an actual problem.. especially like after you get the airship and have to find the flying fortress. There's no hint whatsoever, you're just meant to stumble upon it on accident and i'm not so sure that's exactly the best game design. All in all that's really my only gripe about the game, it's still my second favorite game in the series. It's definitely annoying when I go a long time without playing the game and forget all the little details and have to keep looking up a guide to progress the story lmao
In ff5 you have to equip jobs to learn skills. In ff6 you have to equip gods to learn magic. In ff7 you have equip items into your armor AND level them up to use basic magic.
Ff6 also has relics, rages, and boosted level fixed dice to become God 😂. A Shame the mime is pretty bad all the time though like enemy skills material ff7 doesn't have you commit to its limitations. Fft has the worst mime unless you manipulate brawler bravery, have revival which it will stupidly mimic if an enemy is in that targeted spot from their point of view, and use instant shenanigans like iaido, which quick easily lets you do better, and can use special characters like Orlandeau to own again. Ff6 is just slow with low hp, no esper gogo, and ff5 you need dualcast to mean anything, though I saw vids that just casts flare and curaga and everybody mimics to autowin. Which quick gives 2 extra turns in that game, so time mage is just as busted as fft. I dualcast slowga/hastega myself in ff5, and phoenix helps as life insurance.

A Knight will automatically cover physical attacks on a party member that is in critical health, and the Knight Guard ability makes them take 0 damage from physical attacks, so if you have a Knight guarding while the rest of the party is critical health the Knight takes the hit for them and takes 0 damage, it's used in a few different places in the run, but the poison in North Mountain is to set up the Galura fight at 42 minutes, Galura only does physical attacks so as long as you Guard on the first turn and kill it before the first poison ticks it can't kill you.
Why does the run has to end with the first form of Exdeath? I guess it's because it would be impossible to beat neo Exdeath at this point with this team, if anyone can tell me it would be appreciated Awesome run

I've never agreed with this mindset. Games are for entertainment, and if someone else finds playing a different way entertaining to them AND it doesn't stop you from playing the way you want, then your personal fun level isn't affected in the slightest.
