- Dollar Tree cleaning products!! Just because they are only $1.25 doesn't mean they can't do the job of big name brand cleaners. My favorite floor cleaner comes from Dollar Tree! In today's video, I tested 10 new cleaning products from Dollar Tree against their brand name equivalents. I used the Dollar Tree mesh bags to put in my socks my underwear and also my bras but I clamp my bras together before I put them in a bag so they won't catch on the bag and even if I don't put my bras in the bag I always clamp the back together so it won't catch on any clothing or anyting and I'm going to give some to my nephew for a baby shower gift among other things. They don't last pretty long I can wash maybe twice or maybe three times before the bag rips but it's does the job

A bucket of water, Dawn, a rag and a hose works great on cars
I live in Canada and we have a similar dollar store called Dollarama. The laundry bags I’ve bought from there are much finer mesh and they’re amazing. My bras can’t get hooked onto them because the mesh is so so fine and everything still gets nice and clean
That would be great if ours were like that.
The grapefruit method is my favorite when i saw this at dollar tree i was almost tricked lol it definitely doesn't live up to the smell of the actual method in my opinion

I love the grapefruit scented Method cleaner and so tried the DT version, but it smells just like all of the other multipurpose cleaners in that brand. Plus it's not derived from natural elements like Method is. I try to use the least amount of toxic chemicals possible.

Thanks Rach, great review. As always. I've used those laundry bags. Meh. The zipper damaged a piece of clothing, so I'm hesitant to use them now. Walmart ones are def better and get softer over time. None of those sponges here, but I have used those imitation Magic Erasers. The grabber sticks are fantastic. I've used it to clean a high corner with a microfibre cloth. I wish we had your extensive Dollartree product selection in Canada. Maybe just not my city, it isn't a huge one.
I just cleaned my kitchen sink with the Dollar Tree "pink stuff" and yesterday bought some of the Method grapefruit cleaner! 😁

Love the command hook on trash cans! I always use binder clips to keep them in place and the kids constantly throw them away when changing the trash.

I have at least 4 of those mitts for dusting and I love them !! That’s all I use now with my cleaning service .. the pink stuff i now use also and is just as good as the name brand .
I love those mits! Their pink stuff is good and I’m going to continue trying it around my house it’s just not my favorite product like that.
Bought the mitts last summer. Grandchildren visit in the summer (4 & 8) so they wear mitts to help with the dusting. Machine washing them works. The pink stuff works on the glass top stove too.

Thanks for mentioning, I've never tried the real pink stuff. I tried the DT pink stuff and wasn't impressed. I'll have to try the real stuff sometime.
The pink cleaner is in my opinion the best multi purpose cleaner the DT sells. They have a few others in the same brand that I'm going to try as well.
It does ok but it’s not as good as the Pink Stuff or Power Paste. It is still a good product, I will say that.

Rach I use the dollar tree pink stuff on my stainless steel kitchen sink with a scrub daddy and it works great! I haven’t used it yet on nothing else, but I don’t have a glass top stove so I can’t try it on that. And I use stuff with disinfecting agents in them for my bathroom sinks. You know because people’s spit in them with toothpaste and stuff. If I only use it to clean the kitchen sink it’s fine by me since it smells good and cleans the kitchen sink to a shine. As for the laundry bags from dollar tree, I don’t like the type of mesh it is with the big holes. I got something better that the mesh is as tiny as like a window screen sort of mesh and I’ve had it for years. Thanks so much for testing stuff for us. I’m gonna have to try out the sponge with the nail protector and the magic eraser with the blue sponge on one side. Damn you know your getting old when you get excited about cleaning stuff. LOL😂
My mesh bag ripped with a first time use. Walmart one is the one I used before and now use again. Besides I use the $ tree clear command hook and hang by the loop on the side of my washer!!!!
I’ve had no issues with my $tree laundry bags and I’ve had them for a couple of years. No tearing and zipper works fine😁
I use the zipper bags to clean leggos 😜

I'm a housekeeper. I just tie a knot on the bag in the garbage cans
Ice will clean your garbage disposal and get rid of the rust too. Putting 2-3 tablespoons full of baking soda on top of the ice will get rid of the odors too. Put about 4 or 5 large 16oz cups of ice in disposal, add baking soda, turn water on, and turn disposal on. It is done when there is no more ice.
I use this trick. I’ve heard the ice can be bad for the blades but then others say it’s good for the blades… who knows.

I just bought the dt mesh bags... Wasn't really into any of them beforehand tbh. It held up well in the wash. I used to wash period undies. I haven't used it in the dryer... Not sure it can go in there 🤷🏾♀️. I was going to use them for traveling purposes.

Thanks for this video! I’m going to have to try magic eraser dupe with the sponge. Also I tried the garbage disposal cleaner twice and it never foamed up for me either.

Hi. I’ve been thinking about cutting it again but not that short. I don’t like to go above my shoulders because it completely changes the shape of my face (and not in a good way).

The mesh laundry bags lasted only after 1 wash. The second time I used them, they all fell apart and tore with socks, bras, and underwear in them.

The new ones are pretty good. They had some that were really bad quality about a year ago.

Not sure if the washing bags we get in ours in Canada are the same, i dont recall getting 3, but mine have lasted for years. We dont always get the same products
All 3 zippers broke immediately on mesh bags. Walmart one I’ve had forever.
I do prefer the Walmart bags.

I used any magic eraser product or Dawn works great.
I've used command hooks and they tore my walls up. They were on there for a year then I took them off and it even took some of the drywall off

My dollar tree closed down due to ppl stealing. The other one a good few min away from me has almost nothing! Ive never found anyyything at my current DT😢😮‼
That sucks, I’m sorry. I have 3 DT stores in my area; 2 are complete trash and 1 I get lucky every now and then. I don’t have one of the good ones here either.

Trickle, pencil stream, full blown stream… nothing. I think it’s a problem with my disposal.
Those straws are only 50 cents at my DT!
I wish DT prices were consistent but I’ve heard many times that something was less or more elsewhere.
The Dollar Tree laundry bags are not a good buy for me. They did not last very long altho the zippers worked fine they came apart in just a few washes.

The DT version of pink stuff does not work except on stainless steal sink. Works great there no where else. I'll not buy it no more lolll Love the scrub sponges though.

The dt laundry bags didnt work for me. Holes after 2 washes. Walmart still good after a year.
Any cleaner that I have to rinse off with water is a dealbreaker. I don’t have time for that
I usually only purchase wash off cleaners for the bathroom.
You should not put your bras in the dryer just hang them up to dry
