I only did this segmented video because I thought it would be kinda fun to do and I didn't think anyone one would care for it since I dont post on any leaderboards or mention anywhere that it is the worlds first of its kind or anything of that sort. Gino or the Team hittless discord should have just told me to change the title of the Video and I would have happily obliged them (instead they kind of rappid fire posted negative comments throughout the whole day which made me panic instead, since I am not used to all of that attention 😞). I ended up changing the title of the video to better reflect what type of run this is (a segmented one, one that relies on cuts/splices in order get through the run without beeing hit). I hope you can forgive me and I am very much looking forward to you beating the DLC with a legit no hit run (If anyone can do it then I am 100% certain its you). Much love back ^_^.

watching the run was cool but how come your stats at 11:48 and 14:25 don't match? At 11:48 you had 80 str and arcane and after rellana at 14:25 you had 75? and your endurance was lower. unless I'm missing something with the talismans or whatnot no shade just wondering is all
Thats due to Godricks great rune which gives you + 5 in all stats as long as you have it active (it however doesnt show up during leveling since its not a permanent stat up, similarly to how talismans that boost your levels in a stat also dont show up during it) ^_^.

I think you are talking about the stats, right? if so it's due to godrick's great rune which gives you +5 in every stat (+ the fact that great runes, talismans and other items that boost your stats like helmets and crystal tears only show in the equipment menu and not during level up screens when you rest) ^_^.

For starters you wanna use a build that has 80 points in strength as well as 80 points in arcane to hit the hardcaps of both of those stats as well as 25 points in faith in order to be able to cast the incantations "flame, grant me strength" + "golden Vow" which both grant quite a lot of multiplicative damage ups (I also recommend equipping godricks great rune in order to get +5 stat points in all attributes + the faith knot tear which grants you + 10 stat points in faith in order to cut down on the required levels and to put the rest of your levels into endurance for the stamina). For talismans you need the ritual sword talisman which grants you 10% aditional damage, the axe talisman which grants + 10% damage for charged attacks, the two handed sword talisman from the dlc which grants an aditional 15% damage as long as you dual wield a two handed weapon + the lord of blood talisman which grants an aditional 20% damage once you proc bleed on an enemy. For armor you really only need the white mask which grants an aditional 10% damage once you proc bleed (which stacks with the blood talisman). For the physick flask you should also use the spiked cracked tear which deals an additional 10% damage on charged attacks. you mean those starfists? you can get them in Leyndell Royal Capital near the colosseum looking area (you can also get an earlier a bit weaker version of them in liurnia of the lake from the big boggart npc) ^_^.

Arcane is hands down the most important stat, since it buffs the damage of the bloodfiend arm (it has a b scaling in arcane) + it increases the bleed chance (without any levels in arcane the bloodfiend arm has about 90-100 bleed while with a 80 arcane build it has a whopping 220) ^_^.
yep, arcane + strength both in fact increase the weapon damage since the arm scales with both stats (which is why you want to reach the hard cap in both) ^_^.
I lost about 3 runs to the beginning of radahns second phase, due to the fact that he didn't get staggered immediately after the charged attack (which sucks especially since if you get that stagger in, before he does his large aoe attack you basically win).
I will not watch this video cause I didn't finished the DLC yet, but I have a question: is there a category (planned) for speed / no hit runs where the DLC needs to be finished while starting with a new character at the beginning of the base game? It would be fun to see which route they take to finish Rhadan und Mohg as fast as possible to enter the DLC. Looking forward to watch this one day :)

@@NikoBellic0_0 I believe self-inflicted damage or environmental damage (lava/lake of rot) don't count as a "hit" since no enemy/AI boss is actually trying to hit you.
+25 occult Bloodfiend arm (was recently nerfed) with 80 in arcane + 80 in strength (5 stat points of each coming from the godrick great rune) + cragblade ash of war for extra damage + poise as well as golden vow + flame, grant me strength for buffs. white mask helmet for +10% damage after inflicting bleed + the following talismans for extra damage: axe talisman (+10% charge damage) ritual sword talisman (+10% damage at full hp) Two-Handed sword talisman (+15% damage when two handing a weapon) Lord of blood talisman (+20 % damage after inflicting bleed) For the wondrous flask you wanna get the spiked cracked tear for extra charge attack damage + faith-knot tear for +10 stats in faith to cast golden vow.

Some of the running sections near the end was so scuffed! Boss fights were good! I wonder how many attempts this run took cuz I can't imagine this run taking less than 50 attempts with unoptimized running sections like that & quitouts being allowed in this No Hit Run feels weird.
npc and spirit ash summons are allowed in official no hit runs. most runners choose not to do that tho, mostly because the boss can get unpredictable if there is more than one target in the arena. summoning players online is not allowed.
To be honest, if parrying also counts for a no hit run (which I am not 100% sure about), then you could probably get away with using base game equipment like occult infused starfists + Miséricorde for ripostes, instead of the bloodfiend arm (especially since radahn almost always does normal attacks in phase 2 if you are withing parrying range). That way your charged attacks would not only come out about twice as fast, but they would also deal about 1k aditional damage per hit and still inflict a decent amount of bleed on the enemy (not to mention how much damage a fully leveled Miséricorde does on ripostes) ^_^.
@@NikoBellic0_0 yeah I too prefered to use weapons from the base game in the dlc, still a good vid, but maybe you should try sometime no hiting Radahn again with other weapons (parrying and riposte with misericordie would be cool) because prenerf Bloodfiend arm seems too busted
@@NikoBellic0_0 perfect parries do not count as a ''hit'' for a no hit run, but blocking attacks even if it results in no damage taken is a ''hit'' you could get away with that on a no damage run.
Oh boy, I think it took about 150 hours until I finally managed to get the no hit run in (I was really lucky to get the dlc a couple of days before the release as well, which allowed me to put quite a few extra hours in early) ^_^.
Probably, though you would be missing out on about +35% damage without those 2 buffs which means that you would have to hit about 2-3 additional charged attacks per boss ^_^.

Ah you mean the spirit ashes. In that case it is absolutely posible to beat her without them but it takes a bit longer since you have to wait for openings (I actually beat her hitless in the no death run from last week if you interested in seeing a good strat for her) ^_^.

Thats a really good question ^_^. I do believe that it would make sense for there to be such a category (especially since I have seen people beat both mohg as well as base game radahn within half an hour of starting the game, though they did abuse glitches/exploits to be able to achieve that).

Sure, let me give a quick run down of the build. For starters you wanna use a build that has 80 points in strength as well as 80 points in arcane to hit the hardcaps of both of those stats as well as 25 points in faith in order to be able to cast the incantations "flame, grant me strength" + "golden Vow" which both grant quite a lot of multiplicative damage ups (I also recommend equipping godricks great rune in order to get +5 stat points in all attributes + the faith knot tear which grants you + 10 stat points in faith in order to cut down on the required levels and to put the rest of your levels into endurance for the stamina).
For talismans you need the ritual sword talisman which grants you 10% aditional damage, the axe talisman which grants + 10% damage for charged attacks, the two handed sword talisman from the dlc which grants an aditional 15% damage as long as you dual wield a two handed weapon + the lord of blood talisman which grants an aditional 20% damage once you proc bleed on an enemy.
For armor you really only need the white mask which grants an aditional 10% damage once you proc bleed (which stacks with the blood talisman).
For the physick flask you should also use the spiked cracked tear which deals an additional 10% damage on charged attacks.
Now lastly you wanna use a fully upgraded Bloodfiend arm with the cragblade ash of war (which deals + 10% damage + 15% aditional stagger damage) + a blood infusion (which makes the weapon scale insanly well with strength + arcane + gives it a bleed proc of about 220 which hits twice during charged attacks).
Now you combine all of those multiplicative damage buffs on top of the scadutree levels which buffs the damage by even more (especially since the patch from a couple of days ago made the first 10 levels even more powerfull) and you get a trully powerfull build which can proc bleed on bosses with a single charged attack ^_^.

Doesn't the assassins gambit inflict some damage on the player though? (because if so I don't know if it would be allowed in a no hit run)
@@NikoBellic0_0 it does deal damage. But that's part of a no damage run. Since it's a no hit run, assassin's gambit can be used.
@@NikoBellic0_0 I believe self-inflicted damage or environmental damage (lava/lake of rot) don't count as a "hit" since no enemy/AI boss is actually trying to hit you.
I guess from a technical stand point that does make sense + it would have made the run way, way easier since you can just sneak past mobs.

+25 occult Bloodfiend arm (was recently nerfed) with 80 in arcane + 80 in strength (5 stat points of each coming from the godrick great rune) + cragblade ash of war for extra damage + poise as well as golden vow + flame, grant me strength for buffs.
white mask helmet for +10% damage after inflicting bleed + the following talismans for extra damage:
axe talisman (+10% charge damage)
ritual sword talisman (+10% damage at full hp)
Two-Handed sword talisman (+15% damage when two handing a weapon)
Lord of blood talisman (+20 % damage after inflicting bleed)
For the wondrous flask you wanna get the spiked cracked tear for extra charge attack damage + faith-knot tear for +10 stats in faith to cast golden vow.

What enchanting are you doing before the boss fights and which talismans?
I've been using the invocations "flame, grant me strength" + "golden vow" (both of which add quite a bit of extra damage).
For talismans I went for the axe talisman (+10% damage to charge attacks), two-handed sword talisman (+15% damage when two-handing a weapon), lord of blood talisman (+20% damage when inflicting bleed on an enemy) + ritual sword talisman (+10% damage when at full hp) ^_^.

Some of the running sections near the end was so scuffed! Boss fights were good! I wonder how many attempts this run took cuz I can't imagine this run taking less than 50 attempts with unoptimized running sections like that & quitouts being allowed in this No Hit Run feels weird.

I mean its also segmented, so it can't be considered as a true no hit run either way.
npc and spirit ash summons are allowed in official no hit runs. most runners choose not to do that tho, mostly because the boss can get unpredictable if there is more than one target in the arena. summoning players online is not allowed.

Yep, afterall a fully charged r2 attack from the bloodfiend arm deals close to 500 in bleed proc ^_^.
You may be able to tighten it up a bit if you were to skip Relana. Other than that, great run. Close call with that little shrimp guy.

To be honest, if parrying also counts for a no hit run (which I am not 100% sure about), then you could probably get away with using base game equipment like occult infused starfists + Miséricorde for ripostes, instead of the bloodfiend arm (especially since radahn almost always does normal attacks in phase 2 if you are withing parrying range).
That way your charged attacks would not only come out about twice as fast, but they would also deal about 1k aditional damage per hit and still inflict a decent amount of bleed on the enemy (not to mention how much damage a fully leveled Miséricorde does on ripostes) ^_^.
@@NikoBellic0_0 yeah I too prefered to use weapons from the base game in the dlc, still a good vid, but maybe you should try sometime no hiting Radahn again with other weapons (parrying and riposte with misericordie would be cool) because prenerf Bloodfiend arm seems too busted

Oh boy, I think it took about 150 hours until I finally managed to get the no hit run in (I was really lucky to get the dlc a couple of days before the release as well, which allowed me to put quite a few extra hours in early) ^_^.

Probably, though you would be missing out on about +35% damage without those 2 buffs which means that you would have to hit about 2-3 additional charged attacks per boss ^_^.

Ah you mean the spirit ashes. In that case it is absolutely posible to beat her without them but it takes a bit longer since you have to wait for openings (I actually beat her hitless in the no death run from last week if you interested in seeing a good strat for her) ^_^.
