In this video, we demonstrate how to dismantle the button responsible for adjusting the height of the handle on a BabyJogger City Select. You may need to take apart this mechanism if the handle no longer stays up (it won't lock into position and falls down) or you can no longer adjust the handle height (the handle has become stuck in one position). We discuss the components of the mechanism and explain which elements are likely at fault (broken, defective) and require replacement.

The left hand side of our handle won’t lock when it extends and retracts. Any tips on how to fix it?

Does anyone have any idea where replacement plastic sliders in the handle could be bought from. I candy don't seem to want to know. Happy to sell me a new pushchair though.....

Hi there, you seem to be a profi in strollers. So you know how to change pivotal mechanism on bebetto handles?

I haven't worked on Bebetto models, unfortunately, but from pictures, the mechanism looks pretty standard. To swap the whole mechanism, you probably need to drill out the rivets, to remove the button (in case you want to try and fix the existing mechanism), it's probably a matter of popping it off with a flat-head screwdriver (prying under the side of the button). :)

@@BarnevognverkstedNo thanks. It really requires drilling it seems... what a stupid way to manage joints... anyways, thanks again and have a good day!! Your diy tutorials are great!
