I work in a microbiology lab and, to me, those were bacteria or yeast colonies. If you look up close you can distinguish little dots that end up forming a line, which is called confluent growth. But don't worry, I don't think it can harm you specially if you sanitize it. But next time, it is better to exchange the product for a good one. Love from Argentina ❤
I have been seeing this more and more, and most times it is from a product that marketed itself as "clean" which goes to show you why we need those preservatives.
@@divinelyengineered that could be! In general I feel like clean beauty has a much shorter shelf life though so I’m extra wary with it (despite loving a lot of it, I’m just way more careful with how long it sits around)
I’ve had several ruggables. They wash just fine. Sometimes hard to get a large rug smooth on the rug pad. But when your dog pees on your rug, you’ll take that small inconvenience to be able to wash it as much as you need! And I think you used too much soap. These are waterproof so they don’t absorb much. Use just a little soap and spot treat. That works for me. ❤❤❤
THIS. I tell people Ruggables are worth it if you have pets and small children. I will take the ability to wash my rug over being upset over any other rug
The only thing is that the rug pad sometimes smells like pee 😢 mines is outside waiting for me to wash it. We're using the top without the pad and it's so slippery
I have a very large ruggable, it is one of the Disney mickey ones. I love it. I have cats and hairballs are a thing. This rug cleans so well for spot cleaning and of course putting it into the machine. Is it a pain to put down, yes mostly because I have 2 love seats and a sofa one on each of 3 sides. They are heavy so it takes me and at least one of my grown sons to help me put it back down or take it up to wash. I wash it twice a year, spot clean the rest of the time. But I wouldn't trade it.
I have two Ruggable rugs: a larger one for my living room and a runner in my kitchen. Both have paid for themselves ten times with two dogs and a muddy husband. I've lost track of how many other rugs I've had to toss out or fell apart in the washing machine before getting these two Ruggables. Really the only tricky part of the Ruggable is because it's waterproof, sometimes it gets pockets of water in the folds while it's washing that won't spin out. So, when it's time to take it out of the washing machine, I just pay attention so I don't dump water on the floor.
I have a Ruggable runner on a padded base in my kitchen. It fits perfectly across my workspace. Edited to add: I have two toppers - a Mandalorian & a Christmas.
I hated my huggable rug SO MUCH. Not the rug itself, but the sticky black mat started dropping black stuff everywhere and was just a mess. I threw them all out.
Because of all the things you mentioned, we went with a tumble rug for our house! Just as washable, liquid resistant, and no finicky velcro, also comes with a fab plush pad instead of the uncharge ruggable does if you want their plush pad. Highly recommend tumble washable rugs over ruggable.
Thanks for this recommendation! We just ordered new living room furniture & have been looking at new area rugs. I was just going to order a traditional area rug but the Tumble rug will be a much better option with my 2 cats & 2 young great-nephews running around & being messy. 🙌
I have a ruggable that is 5x7 and it doesn't sound like velcro, so that might be a small rug thing. They're definitely not soft, but we have a dog and it's definitely a 2 person job to put it down. Our's was a Star Wars rug and I love it :) The normal rugs from stores get so stained and won't come clean.
Because of your comment i just found out that ruggable is the creator of the viral star wars rug that ive been trying to track down for years. I am now about to spend too much moneyy
For the ruggable, they do offer a thicker rug cover and cushioned pad which might better give the feel of what you’re looking for in a rug. Wondering how it would compare to the standard/cheaper options. Been thinking about getting one myself!
I have the thick pad for the ones in my kitchen and I love them. I also have them in front of all my doors. They've been such a game charger for me. So easy to wash.
I bought a 5x7 for bedside. Thicker pad. Plush ruggable. Loved it sooo much I bought a big one for my living room. Cat already puked in it. Cleaned up perfect. Love it!
absolutely love my ruggables! they are super doggy approved. and i even had red wine come out of an ivory rug. they are so worth it! and they do sales all the time. they also have a cushioned pad and thicker pile now too! to make it easier to attach, roll the top and start at one end and pull out any creases as you go. i have their largest size and it works!
I love my ruggable! My dog got a cut and bled all over it 2 days ago it was so easy to spray and pop in the washer. Mine is I think 5x7 or 6x9 and I did it myself with a herniated disc! I found its much easier to lay down if you roll it first and unroll onto the pad.
We have an 8x10 Ruggable in our dining room and my husband has always reattached it to the underpad by himself lol it takes him less than 5 minutes. Even IF it were a two person job though, with 4 kids ages 6, 4, 2, and 1 it would still be worth it to have a rug I don’t have to worry about and can throw in the wash. I’ve never noticed it sounding or even feeling like we’re standing on velcro, but they do have a more cushioned underpad which they recommend for spaces like the living room, etc. I don’t know what happened in your washer, I’ve never had that happen when washing ours 😂
Even though the blush sanitation was questionable, the color was really pretty on you! Things like this happen in manufacturing. I really like stick blush application so I am considering getting this now! It just looked so pretty and natural on you.
I love my ruggable rugs. I've had two 5x7 rugs for a few years. You can get a thicker bottom pad for extra money. I wash the one in the living room about every other week due to the amount of pets I have. I can replace it on the pad myself in a matter of minutes so you do get used to doing it. Oh and I don't even put the corners in. Can't tell either way.
I loved this mascara on you! Especially if you didn't re curl your lashes they looked amazing, I feel like you usually stress about yours so this is a great everyday one for you ❤️

Ive been looking at these rugs for a while and hadnt planned on buying one UNLESS it was really big so I am happy you revieŵed them. Microbiologist here. Couldn't tell if it's mold persay, but you'd probably see fuzzy dots Anyway, you likely have mold on you anyway, as all of us probably do, because it's just around us constantly!
Your rug pad was not supposed to tuck into those corners. I have one and that was stated in the directions lol. It's best if you roll it up then unroll it onto the pad. We have an 8x10 and it's fantastic. But we have the thicker pad, so it's more cushiony.
We have a large ruggable and love it!! Its great if anyone has little kids who make messes, for dogs who have accidents, or just anytime anything spills. Another thing to note is they have cushion pads and that velcro sound goes away pretty fast. The only con is it can be a pain to put on perfect because of how sticky the pad is
I’ve had a big ruggable in my living room for two years now and I adore it. the pile is low, totally fair, but that room is tile and it does wonders to keep the sound down and to protect my toes from cold winter tile. it also gets filthy and being able to wash it is huge. (also it’s cheaper than most other rugs of similar size!)
I was always curious about Ruggable for the larger sizes. To me a small one isn’t worth it bc I have regular small ones from Target and can throw them in the wash just fine. Thanks for testing it out!
The mascara looks amazing! Im always worried about how long "dry" mascaras last though. I had the Lash Paradise and LOVED it! Until i realized it only lasted about a month before it dried out.
In the higher end mascaras, I try to buy the travel size. It's cheaper and you actually get through the tube before it dries out. Unfortunately, lash paradise and other drugstore lines, it's not an option. I am dealing with the same thing with mine!
You can add a few drops of contact lense solution to thin out mascaras. I do this with Lash Paradise and YSL mascaras. Both have big fluffy wands which I think push air in when closing the mascara.
Love Ruggable rugs! I have a few as entrance runners and kitchen, basically, high traffic area, if you have pets it's a god send. I've just mine for 3 years now and they still look great. Highly recommend.
I got the extra plush ruggable in it's largest size ( for maximum play space for the littles). I have had it for 3 years now and still LOVE it. I have three cats and kiddos, and between full washes we have a little green machine. As to laying it down, maybe because our rug is so thick it doesn't do what yours did 🤔🤷 even though navy blue shows everything, it washes so much nicer than anything else we have owned
Honestly when I first saw Rachel's channel it was I think a drugstore makeup tutorial video from years ago I was like "she looks like Taylor Swift" so an eras tour dress is fitting! Lol And congrats to Lo for the eras tickets! Hope she has fun
I’m not usually that excited by mascara. I got a mini as a Sephora perk and once I tried it, I immediately went and bought the full size. No flakes or smudges, and I have watery eyes.
I have a large Ruggable rug. It’s not the easiest thing to lay down being so big, but the easiest way is to roll it up, start on one edge, and unroll/smooth it down as you go along. I have mine in my room that my rabbits free roam in. We have laminate floors so it gives the rabbits traction to run around. Being machine washable is a life saver!
I love when you do clothing hauls! Your attention to detail and honest reviews have helped me buy some really great pieces. Please share more. Love, a sister tall girly!
I have a large ruggable rug and I have to say with small kids and dogs it has been an amazing thing to put down on hardwood to keep them safe and to wash so easily
Merit has been all over my fyp and I need to know how it works! Oh and the wildpier scrubbing mitt! Also on the ruggable front - I have 2 runners and a large 8 x 10 rug and they are amazing. When we got the 8 x 10 rug, it came with a card on “how to install” - but basically you need to roll it on
I remember when u use to always use the Stila Huge mascara and the Clarins Peach primer. They both looked so good on u. I had to have them, and I still use the mascara along with ur highlight pallet with Pixie ❤❤❤❤
Hi Rachel! I’d love to see a video of ur favorite current product. Like HG status for every step of the way (especially a nice lightweight non creasing concealer)
I love my ruggable rugs!! Never had any issue with them, they are perfect for someone like me who has several dog, 2 of which are elderly and have accidents and I just rip them off the beach base, toss them in the wash, and throw on another one!❤
I liked the way your complexion looked with the drops added! I’m also a mascara girl and I have yet to try this mascara. It made your lashes look beautiful! I’m definitely going to give it a go 🎉 love your videos and I also love to see Chris and his sisters make appearances😊 you looked fire in that dress! Have a great rest of your week! ❤️
As someone who has a Ruggable maybe it's the one you got but I absolutely love the feel of mine! It's super soft and I got the padded rug base so it's very cushy on my feet. I have yet to need to wash it even after years of use (vacuuming has been enough) but it's so great. My ruggable is a big one too. I think I just love that it can be removed from the base and changed out with a new pattern when I decide I want a change.
Hi Rachel! Can you try the Jolie shower head? I keep getting ads for it and I have hard water (which I think you mentioned you did too before) and I am trying to see if it’s worth it!
I have a couple Ruggable rugs and I love them. I have 8x10, and you just roll it on. Also. that velcro noise goes away pretty quick. They are very comfortable on bare feet, and great with pets. I have washed mine and never had that soapy issue.
I was watching so intently during the mascara portion, but then noticed how gorgeous those earrings were and couldn’t stop staring at them instead of the makeup for the rest lol I need DEETS
I have a ruggable at my front door, and I've had it for 5 years now. I LOVE the convenience. I have a dog and we live in Canada (hello weathery foot traffic) and its lasted this whole time and it still pretty much looks like new :)
We have a ruggable and, after you walk on it a while, the velcro sound/feeling goes away! Ours is huge, for my husband's office, and it has been awesome.
I have a huge fluffy light sage green one in living room & I LOVE IT!! Doesn’t fit in our washer bc it’s SO big, and my hubby puts it on as I can’t lol but I don’t like the low pile ones. Definitely A+ for the fluffy ruggable rugs tho. Best of all (bc so expensive) there’s weekly pay options!!
I must say, I spilled blueberry juice on my MIL’s ruggable- a lot of it. I was not expecting the stain to come out as it was a cream color, but it immediately came out. Highly recommend!!
I have an 8x10 ruggable that we got after our dog we adopted continued to have accidents in our dining room. It’s literally the best thing ever if you’re having constant pet accidents!
I recently bought a ruggable for under the table in my breakfast room. It wasn’t super easy to match up y try o the pad but putting the pad down and then rolling up the rug before unrolling it onto the pad did the trick. Then we inserted the corner pieces. The pattern is similar to yours. I like the faded look and I like the way it’s wearing under my table and chairs. With 3 elderly cats I am willing to sacrifice the thickness for washability as having 2 of my “real” rugs cleaned recently took 2 months and $300USD. They do offer a thicker pile but I worried it wouldn’t fit in the washer and it was significantly more expensive. I’d love yo see you try things on Etsy - many things are so well-priced - it’s always a temptation.
Yes! The rolling and unrolling to get the rugable on is the easiest way! Especially for bigger rugs! My issue is mine tucks under furniture so I have to move all the furniture 😝
I work at a laundromat and when that happens (at least with ours) it’s because there was so little in the washer for to much soap. Just less for the soap to get into 🙂
I have a few years of experience in microbiology and growing bacteria and fungi in microbio labs and although yes they can definitely grow in a line I don't really think that's the case here. It's probably just the form they press those sticks in. In any case you probably have a healthy natural skin barrier that protects you, thoroughly wash your face and maybe properly clean the blush if you feel that's necessary.
I bought the Laura Geller baked foundation powder based on your recommendation and I must say, I really like it! Looks like glowy skin and survived the hottest day (today) in the uk so I’m hooked! I need to try that mascara because I am also a mascara girly! Great video thank you! ❤
I think this is the earliest I've ever been, saw it pop up and clicked it IMMEDIATELY, I always look forward to the end of the week for your videos on both channels
I have a large ruggable rug in my living room. My biggest pet peeve with it is when you peel it off, wash it, and dry it... there is a ton of little black plastic pieces from the cushion in my washer/dryer/lint trap. Getting the rug back down isn't bad. I fold the top in half and just work from one end to the other. I also don't tuck the corners inside the pockets.
I’ve had 2 of these and have the same problem. Thought the first one was a fluke but the second one does the same thing. I have to clean my washer & dryer and obsessively vacuum the area it’s in before and after washing it. Makes me dread having to wash it, which kind of defeats the purpose.
I have ruggable in living room and dining room. They don’t sound like Velcro. I put mine down by rolling the rug up and get corners aligned then unroll it a little at a time as I smooth it out. I have dogs and they are perfect for them, Not to be gross but anytime the dogs get sick they run under my dining room table to get sick so it great to be able to throw in the washer rather than getting out shampooer.
I’d love for you to review the sistaco nail stuff. I’ve almost been influenced to by it like a million times, but I haven’t seen anyone I trust use it, so I’m skeptical. 😆
Would love for you to try out Lilysilk and Waterdrop. I am in love with their tumblers and think you would love them too. Their tea and electrolytes are great too :D
About the Ruggable. We have 2 GSD so my house has become the home of 100 runners...lol These rugs are amazing, easy to pull up, wash and lay back down again. It's a must! They also have a padded under pad.
Some stick balm, cream products are made in a two part mould, my guess is their mould is losing its crisp edge and needs changing, because sisters were right, mold doesn't grow in a perfect line right down the center like that
I have a smallish ruggable that has curled up on the edges. It's probably because I vacuumed over it or something. It is really easy to wash, and I've even gotten makeup out of it without having to pretreat. It is not for comfort, just for looks and reducing echo.
I love watching your videos… Especially this channel ❤❤❤ Can you please make a video of makeup and skin care that you dramatically changed your life. I remember you talked about an eye cream that you use everyday. I can’t find that video. My under eyes scream for help. I wanted to give a try to that eye cream. Can you please show it again 😊 Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Would love for your pregnant sister in laws to help you do a video about maternity clothes ( their favourites, Amazon, maternity brands) ❤ 🇨🇦👶🏻🍼. Maybe even pregnancy helpful items, what they loved to use vs not.
As a note on ruggable: we had the 8x10 for our living room as our dogs and children tend to always have accidents in our living room. It is an absolute nightmare to laydown and also, pee will soak through the thin rug. And the velcro rug pad, is literally impossible to clean. So it doesnt help if pee is your concern because you cant wash the rug pad and it will hold on to pee odor. Big fail

I came here to say I agree with this! (I worked in a microbiology lab in college counting plates and both of those things can and do grow in lines).
It looked like wax bloom to me, not mold/bacteria, but I’m also not a microbiologist 😅

Lol
And congrats to Lo for the eras tickets!
Whoever sister got her era tour tickets have fun! It was so much fun! Also love y’all are all Swifites!! 😊
How can one not be a Swiftie?
I love when you do clothing hauls! Your attention to detail and honest reviews have helped me buy some really great pieces. Please share more. Love, a sister tall girly!
I have a large ruggable rug and I have to say with small kids and dogs it has been an amazing thing to put down on hardwood to keep them safe and to wash so easily
Merit has been all over my fyp and I need to know how it works! Oh and the wildpier scrubbing mitt!
Also on the ruggable front - I have 2 runners and a large 8 x 10 rug and they are amazing. When we got the 8 x 10 rug, it came with a card on “how to install” - but basically you need to roll it on
I have that mascara and love it!! I immediately saw a drastic difference in my lashes compared to the mascara I was using before.
I have several ruggable rugs ranging in size. I haven't had an issue with them but it helps to roll them up and then slowly roll out over the mat.
I remember when u use to always use the Stila Huge mascara and the Clarins Peach primer. They both looked so good on u. I had to have them, and I still use the mascara along with ur highlight pallet with Pixie ❤❤❤❤
I LOVE charmed aroma. The candles smell amazing! I don't even get them for the jewelry anymore ❤
Woah - We have ALL the ruggable rugs (shout out senior pets) and I've never seen that washing machine lunacy!
I love that you dont use filters. It’s so refreshing!
I saw your dress and immediately thought Queen Bey! Beyoncé was telling her fans to wear silver to her concerts.
I love the charmed aroma candles, it’s become like a tradition that I get my mom one for Christmas every year
As someone who has a Ruggable maybe it's the one you got but I absolutely love the feel of mine!
I think I just need the padded base it sounds like!
Chris’ commentary when you are wearing the pink top is great! 😂
I have a ruggable at my front door, and I've had it for 5 years now. I LOVE the convenience. I have a dog and we live in Canada (hello weathery foot traffic) and its lasted this whole time and it still pretty much looks like new :)
Those rugs are GREAT for plant rooms!!! 💚🪴🌵
We have a ruggable and, after you walk on it a while, the velcro sound/feeling goes away! Ours is huge, for my husband's office, and it has been awesome.
This review helped break the deep desire for a ruggable rug. If I’m paying full price for a rug I want plush and smooshy not crinkly Velcro vibes!
Thank you very much for this video 🥰 and the gloss looks indeed very good on you, like it adds something to your already beautiful smile 🥰🤷🏼♀️
My ruggable rug is quite large and the edges roll. It’s hard to get on the pad correctly as well. I’ve washed it once and it came out great.
The ruggable with the squisher pad is amazing!
I have a 6x9 ruggable for the playroom, and it is super easy to put back together. I roll it up, and unroll it into place after lining up the top.
I’ve noticed a lot of summer Friday’s products get mold and fast. I’ve had a few issues with the lip balm
I love how close you all are!
Oohh great 😂 Now I have "them bones them bones" living rentfree in my brain 😅
Thank you Rachel 😆
Add a little of the D-bronzi drops in with your foundation- game changer. Also- you need to try the Nu-cil Eyelash Serum from Obagi.
I really want to know about the crazy glitter eyeshadows that look so smooth to apply
That city beauty plumping lip gloss. Apparently it’s amazing and doesn’t hurt. Would love to know the tea ☕️!!
I love my washable rug ! No problem with my big rug and washing them!
skin base looks so good!!! love the glow under foundation
Your lashes look beautiful 🤩!! Very fanned out
Some stick balm, cream products are made in a two part mould, my guess is their mould is losing its crisp edge and needs changing, because sisters were right, mold doesn't grow in a perfect line right down the center like that
I have a 4 by 6 ruggable by my front door and love it!
I have a smallish ruggable that has curled up on the edges. It's probably because I vacuumed over it or something. It is really easy to wash, and I've even gotten makeup out of it without having to pretreat. It is not for comfort, just for looks and reducing echo.
Dakota Fanning fanning herself is sooo iconic😂😂💯!
Shoutout to Rach being tall and tiny, she can basically fit most things lol😅😅
Also, I'm using "chestular" now LOL.
Can you please show it again 😊
Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love your videos. I recently discovered your channel and have been binge watching videos ever since (and buying way too many new products 😅).
The dress is giving me background from ‘giving you everything’ by the Spice Girls. Lol! How fun!
Would love to see you try Karla Cosmetics irridscent/multichrome makeup. Nikki Tutorials had used it a few times and world love to see what you think
I love Charmed Aroma!!! They have the best jewelry out of the ones I’ve tried.
I received the exact same ruggable today! I ordered a runner for my front hallway, and I think I love it.
I love my ruggable! I use them actually in my classroom and I love being able to wash it! I just have my students help me put them back on!
The dress I would say 1 or 2 sizes smaller , you look smashing , your smiles says it all .
Big fail
Chanel is my favourite mascara, it's my birthday treat. ❤
I would love to see a video in the TikTok shop and TikTok ad products!!!
