Town of Salem, NH Fly Over Circa 1991

Originally filmed for a Salem Chamber of Commerce promotional video, now a snapshot in time, the video features Route 28, Rockingham Park ( on a race day), Lechmere Sales, Service Merchandise, an under construction Mall at Rockingham Park, Kealey Farms, Salem High School, Salem Courthouse, Town Hall, Boys and Girls Club, Kelley Library and many more familiar locations. Rick Wickson piloted, produced by Salem School District Media Services .

I love this footage.
We moved away from Salem right before the new mall was built. I lived across the street from the old mall and I miss it.
I still occasionally get over there to what's left of it and have Papa Gino's, which still seems to be pretty much in it's original location, near where Bradlee's was.
Anyone else remember the Fotomat out front of the mall? People flying RC planes at the park? Alice's breakfast restaurant? Chris's Comics? OG Grand China? The plowed snowhills in the mall parking lot?
I miss the 80s and early 90s. Salem was a cool town then, and the world was a bit simpler. ✌️❤️🔮
