Let me tell you.. i think "I'm still here" is gonna be a BIG surprise at the Oscar.. it's on the top list from critics and its getting a LOT of Oscar buzz.. this movie has an incredible story and its one of the best of the year!
I would swap out A Real Pain and Seed of the Sacred Fig for A Complete Unknown and Gladiator II. I could also see the latter two making it in along with A Real Pain - but Nickel Boys getting the snub. I wish Challengers had a better chance here, its main hurdle is an April release date. Challengers deserves an Editing nomination if nothing else - those tennis scenes with the camera as the tennis ball were insane.
@@PowerDiva I definitely wish Challengers had a better shot, it’s still one of my favorites of the year. Totally agree about the editing too. Here’s to hoping critics groups prop it enough to get it in the conversation for a category or two.
@TheOscarOdyssey it's one of my favorites this year too. I also really liked Lee with Kate Winslet... but it's kind of flying under the radar when it comes to awards.
