i dont know if its intentional or not but ive noticed cleet often cuts jackstand off mid sentence.

I'm a ford guy so I'm a hit biased, but the Lenco in a fox made this my favorite car of the fleet very quickly. And proving the 7.3 platform to the mass is a bonus

Cleet, you can speed up your data log reviewing by not using the DLV each time. Just stay in NSP and go to Logging -> Choose file for playback. Loads instantly and your NSP page views will all reflect the logged data. if you make changes to your map during the log playback, it'll push those changes back into your MAP when you go back into live mode.
He's so used to dealing with those shithouse Holley computers.
My all time favorite moment with this car was when Cleet saw the door and said McDonald’s might have a copyright issue with that… and James said you haven’t seen the back 😂

Just imagine how many the Ford engineers blew up when developing it. You just know they pushed the prototypes to the extreme before settling on a commercially viable design. So awesome
They definitely knew that someone like Cleetus would eventually get their hands on one and take it to the next level. I can't wait until he gets one of the new Chevy 632 crate engines that make 1,000 hp n/a straight out of the crate.

@@dustinharvey7394 the blueprint 632 is based on the original big block style. Chevy made the "big block" famous, and it's ignorant to think they can't make a better 632 than their mimic. That 632 when it was blown made 1300hp I believe he said. And he blew it up.

Transmission is about $20k, rear end assembly, and suspension is about $10k...
It's about $50k in parts, plus you gotta buy the car and install everything...

@@l8rn3rdsEver since they stopped doing the science segment with the 4.6 mod motor, they've been doing the Ford stuff right. LS platform is legit but you can tell by how they react to the Coyote and Godzilla motors that technology has considerably improved engine performance.
I kinda wondered why ol cleet wasn't at LS fest but I remembered he's on the ol coyote hunt now.... LMAO 🤣

it's got a full cage, no? Full cage, no bolt to the unibody. all the power is through the new frame (cage) I'm sure it was built right if it's certified to run the times they are doing.
When Ty built the cage for this car. He over built it just in case.

I’m surprised the wife is not putting her foot down to him dynoing things with literally NO PROTECTION. No helmet, no fire suit, *wearing shorts and a T-shirt* driving a 1300 hp literal bomb on the dyno. Also *NOT EVEN STRAPPED IN* has anyone else watched the fuel tech guy dyno something? Now that’s a man who cares about his safety and living to the next day for his family.
Watching the power ripple through the body panels is amazing. Maybe a slow mo of that would be something to see. It starts in the front and as it comes on it travels back.

@@rjswaslol nah brother, the sensor wouldn’t be thrown off because of the computer crashing. guarantee it. i’ve ran over 200 dyno pulls for myself and other people and when it crashes, it never messed things up. it was spot on, you can tell by the way the torque was right.
@@Cartier2Shiesty Cool, it was just a curiosity more than anything, been around and built cars most my life, but not so much the Dyno stuff, so i wasn't sure if the sudden crash of the system would have caused an issue or not, thanks for the clarification on that mate.
@@rjswas of course man, it’s intelligent to assume such a thing. but im almost 100% sure that the accuracy of the dyno numbers wouldn’t have been thrown off because of the computer crashing. since it’s directly mechanically spinning from the wheels & they have data logs from the tune, it’s almost impossible (i’d say) for the numbers not to be very accurate

I grew up a chevy guy with my dad and we always said we only raced chevy because it's cheap and easy to make decent hp. Otherwise we always got whooped by equally built Ford stuff. Always had the respect for what they can do, but never had the wallet.

All y'all need to do is map out dome pressure vs. RPM on the closed loop duty table and it'll end up being an upward climb from the 30psi region (where it starts to currently taper down), and gently ramp it up. For drag racing, it'll make more sense to have that 14psi dome ramp to 17psi dome by redline which will carry power out past 6600 RPM with ease and wake the turbos up. Easy tuning fix.
or just get a proper boost controller thatll target your desired boost. stuffs been around since the 90's
@@denisohbrien Haltech's boost control strategies are endless. It's just setup and tuned wrong for the application. Not a big deal. I'd have it sorted out within an hour to dial in specific boost ramps for their needs on the potentiometer dial.
@@denisohbrienthe ECU they're using HAS a proper boost controller in it. They just don't know shit about Haltech because they've been using those terrible Holley computers for so long. Tuning Fork would have every car in the fleet running perfectly and making huge power in a matter of a few days if they flew him over and put a Haltech in all the cars.
@@ChristopherHallett I'm essentially offering to do the same thing as I'm a professional engine calibrator for almost every modern aftermarket ECU on the market. The idea would be to sit down with the boys and teach them how to use what they've got AFTER I completed it and that way when it comes to race day, they're consistent and can make adjustments on the fly. Just depends on what Garrett decides is best for content creation. People love to watch mistakes/failures on RUclips, plain and simple.
I really hope all these dudes are happy behind the scenes. I really hope no one leaves the current crew. This is the best squad.

Seems like just yesterday it was Cleeter and Jackstand at the old shop going nuts when they hit 700hp. Now they crack off 1k, 1.3k, 2k like its nothing. Amazing the numbers these cars are putting out.

Ford Performance power, you cant hate on it or you'll be seeing many bumpers in the future.
Except most Foxbodies you see at the track or at no preps now are LS powered. I'd say it's at least a 4-1 ratio every time I'm at the track or the street.

@jdmmike7225 correct, but I'm talking about the engine, not necessarily the car. If you have the money to build it always go with Ford. Plus like the LS and their parts being able yo be used in all their platforms they are modular but Ford takes it an extra step. There is a reason Koenigsegg uses the 4.6L for his base power plant in many vehicles.

I absolutely love this build and it just might be my favorite on the channel so far. "Simple" build, mostly reliable and consistent. I also enjoy the fact that its not an LS. As awesome as the LS platforms are, its nice to see something different.

I wish I could be there like if they had spare roll cages for my uncle's race truck S10 cus the Ohio valley raceway won't let you race anymore without a roll cage if you do under 10 seconds pass building one ur self is expensive it's has the 406 small block naturally aspirated but it's set up for nitrous but he don't have any nitrous bottles

The Godzilla is no joke just like the coyote motors, more ford content especially the f150.
That long runner OEM truck intake is the limiter on the RPM potential. She'd be making more up top with a shorter runner intake, and you could lose that inconvenient upward facing throttle body.
