about the wolverine boat: The Wagemaker Company began building Wolverine boats in 1932. Those early cedar strip boats were first nationally advertised in 1933 and gained instant popularity. At some point during world war II, they sold the technology to the US Government for use in PT boat hulls from 1942 thru 1945.
I worked on MANY of these ROWPU while in the army. You should be able to see if you are missing anything by looking through the TM manual. You may want to do a full layout. The wiring schematics on that thing are crazy. You will definitely need a pro to troubleshoot any electrical issues you come across. They are easy to operate though. The military breaks it down Barney style in crayon in the TM and most army equipment has instructions right on the equipment.
BTW the army MOS that operated and repaired these was a 63J or 91J now. The official title is QUARTERMASTER AND CHEMICAL EQUIPMENT REPAIRER. Best of luck. Get plenty of filters as backup. Any questions just ask your local grease monkey down in the mopo most of em would “love” to do another quarterly/semi annual/annual PMCS. Tell em you need help with a -10 level pmcs and then you need a -20/-30 level pmcs. They will help you with the -20/-30 but the -10 pmcs is on you….(PMCS = PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS and SERVICES. Found in the field Manuel.)
Most Manuels can be found online now but if you can’t find one check down at your local army surplus or military base. They shouldn’t be classified and should be available for public release seeing as how you have the unit already lol.

Not till you realize the amount of work involved for just running that said unit. One of the sites I worked in AF had three of those units just to make water useable not drinkable. When the base well went dry they had to pull from the river. It took 12 people to run those units 24/7 and between the generators acting the fool, the filtration unit and chemicals were a nightmare. In all honesty having a modern RO unit is more economical and cheaper to run even off of generation power.

That system was right around $6k but there are dozens of other companies out there like CruiseRO and Rainman that make RO water filtration systems for yachts. The key to RO is the membrane. That RO system that HDS bought is similar to what you'd see on tiny atolls in the S. Pacific, Indian Ocean or even the Bahamas. In case you guys didn't know, that blue racking are called Nest Hangers. Those are for pallet storage in warehouses. They stack and you can put standard pallets or crates in them. You can stack them up to eight racks high.
On that water purifier. It should have a NSN that you can look up. Possibly find a manual. Also it has DRMO (Defense Reutilization Marketing Office) on the front. Meaning it was sold bc it was not working or had no more use.
I know this is an older video, but when I joined the USMC in 2011 they had just finished phasing out the ROWPU and replaced it with the TWPS and LWPS. The Tactical Water Purification System and the Lightweight Water Purification System. When they phase out a piece of equipment they DRMO working units as obsolete.
21:43, we had those when we lived on some acreage, we used those stackable pallets for our cords of wood each season. Those are awesome. You got a good haul.

Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely...
It is always good to have a financial plan. I work with a professional planner and fixed-income strategist in NY. The fixed income portion of your portfolio won't simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio, but will provide legitimate income.
I couldn't agree more. Taking charge of your life and putting in the hard work is the path to success. Having a portfolio manager like Mr. Samuel Peter Descovich is a game-changer. Their expertise and guidance can truly transform your financial journey. Making $35,000 in profits each month and saving 70% of that is quite impressive! They save you time and provide valuable insights that lead to impressive profits. Keep up the amazing work, and enjoy the fruits of your labor..
I've shuffled through a few experts in the past, but settled with SAMUEL PETER DESCOVICH. The strategy he use is recession-proof, more specifically profit-oriented , and most likely, you'd find his basic info on the net, he's a renowned advisor.
Found his website easily. It was like the first thing that came up when I searched his name. I'll surely touch basis with him to see what the best step is for me to take right now. THANK YOU!!!
It’s unfortunate most people don’t have such information, I don’t really blame people who panic cos lack of information can be a big hurdle. I’ve been making more than $65k passively investing with Samuel Peter Descovich, and I don’t have to do much work. It doesn’t matter if the market is crashing, I will always make good profit returns.
question.. how is american trailers made brake wise ? european trailers need air to release the brakes meaning if a airline breaks it will apply the brakes slowly until you get to a halt.
1, mold on the inside of a vehicle is literally not an issue for car rebuilders. we deal with it all the time. 2, that car in particular still had some value. They dont make em like they used to and that body is sought after. 3, putting a new engine in that thing is childs play for guys that rebuild cars... Not even expensive to do. 4, even i dont understand why people want that car so much even though i rebuilt cars too lmao
Don't gauge by what the government sticker says. That's the same people that pay $10,000 for a hammer. A buddy bought a HEMTT out of auction for 13k, the sticker said $480k is what the government paid. That said, nice trailer!
When I was a kid we would have a hole cut towards the end of the fork so we could bolt a trailer ball in it and pull those trailers out a lot easier. just a tip if you don’t care about cutting a hole through your fork 🤷♂️😂😂
as long as that purifier is complete it's still worth upwards of $500k ... assuming it still runs .. them suckers dont fail easily ... wish I had the money for it that would be perfect for a place like cero gordo off grid making it's own water cleaning it's used water to grow more food etc ... . bring say 80,000 gallons worth of water storage upto cero gordo ... i 20k tanks then use 2 tanks for grey and black water ... cleaning and 2 for mass water storage and purification ... this way you can pup water from any river purify it and even clean your waste water for farming and top off your potable with easy access basic water
You need a metal scrap compactor that you can make uniform cubes out of, stack and hold until scrap steel goes back up ( because you know it will). You could even mount one to a truck or trailer ( like you have tons of ) so you can compact on site and load cubes. You’re welcome.

i hauled one from a company in Colorado Springs to a power plant in Wyoming. Their filter system in the power plant was down, and they needed to have 100% pure h20 being made into steam for the turbines to make power. Yeah i am sure it could desalinate sea water, but i would think the filters would have to be replaced often during the process.
ROWPU can filter any water to fully potable water, even swamp or sewage. Only limitation is filter clogging up on you, but it will generate 100% pure water. Great machines.
It takes some getting used to but he's catching on. Sadly having a CDL isn't as useful as it used to be. Specialty loads and hazmat are where the money is, and it's nothing close to what it used to be. The new guys can make it work but all the old timers say get out of trucking and don't haul hazmat. I agree, but I also just applied to haul propane, since it's the only position I can find that pays more than $30 an hour.
You said that the M BENZ is junk. Well I worked in parts for MBENZ. The actual dealer. Those body body parts and anything else is definitely worth something. Lots of body shops love to buy OEM for dirt cheap. YOU BLEW IT DUDE
I saw the trailer in the scrap pile and was like “I would like that trailer” then you said they are there for a reason and I went “ahhh nvm, I’ll pass”
I can teach you how to use that thing. Fairly simple when it comes down to it. I imagine that probably has analog control systems. You will have to dump some money into it first. The filters will be trash for sure, it’s been sitting for more than a week with no conditioner I’m assuming. They are quite fragile sadly. 13:16
You're spot on about that trailer. Reverse osmosis is the process boats use for their 'water makers' which is a *very* scaled down principle of that trailer.

“They’re very popular they’re very rare” 😂😂😂that line was great
ROWPU….DO A -10 LEVEL PMCS. THEN DO A -20/30 level. PMCS can be found in your manual. (Preventive maintenance checks and services) buy some extra filters you will need em. The subject matter experts on this equipment are 63J (now know as 91J) QUARTERMASTER CHEMICAL EQUIPMENT REPAIRER)
This E drink ad is the BEST EVER! Diesel is a laugh riot in this. Thank you.😊
Love ya Dave, but this comment is for the editors. My hats off to you sirs!!! Priceless!!!
Great job you guys are doing so much good & by repairing & reselling this equipment your doing the environment a great service
Absolutely loved seeing that lot cleaned up. Great service to planet Earth!
Dave you keep saying that car is Junk, but the Body parts are still worth money to people who have those cars, the body was still in good condition.
Doggo ... 🙂
Always good to see. Also that cigarette skit with Hans and Bud is precious too. Good crew to be around.
Dave l realize that your channel is not a Semi Truck content BUT sure do wish you would do a video of your FORD Cabovers. I'm sure you are working on them at least l hope you are they are awesome Trucks just to be sitting around doing nothing.. They are awesome both have CAT MOTORS which are thee BEST Motors ever made sure would be nice to see what's happening with them. I really hope you are getting them looking and running perfectly love what you have done so far with them keep up the awesome work.
My grandma used to push a Mercedes like that uphill for 50 miles just to get to the grocery store I NEED IT
good luck selling this stuff. I know how hard is to find buyers. For water purification system I don't know who will want that. Only government and munciapilities really use them, but they buy new with a contract, plus those system has to be certified to be safe. In order for this to be realy useful you will have to invest a lot of money to repair change parts etc.
I've seen a restaurant turn an old telephone booth into a smoker. It was pretty cool.
At 18:05 The double visor is handy for any day there are 2 suns, or you are oval track racing.
😂😂😂😂.
In case you guys didn't know, that blue racking are called Nest Hangers. Those are for pallet storage in warehouses. They stack and you can put standard pallets or crates in them. You can stack them up to eight racks high.
I'm guessing you commented that before watching the whole video as he did explain that too:D
@@Gobra5😂😂😂
On that water purifier. It should have a NSN that you can look up. Possibly find a manual. Also it has DRMO (Defense Reutilization Marketing Office) on the front. Meaning it was sold bc it was not working or had no more use.
I know this is an older video, but when I joined the USMC in 2011 they had just finished phasing out the ROWPU and replaced it with the TWPS and LWPS. The Tactical Water Purification System and the Lightweight Water Purification System. When they phase out a piece of equipment they DRMO working units as obsolete.
@@michaelholland1012 newer technology, easier/cheaper to maintain or coat of operating ect
10:18 - had to laugh as I was leaning over to help get that loader onto the trailer? 😂
21:43, we had those when we lived on some acreage, we used those stackable pallets for our cords of wood each season. Those are awesome. You got a good haul.
Hats off to you Sparks... you work dam hard indeed
The 3k rowpu can get fresh water from sea water, can also get fresh water from sewage, but it hard on the pre filters, used the 600 gph rowpu's more in Panama , the 3k' s are harder to maintain 13:06 ,
In fact that 3k was one of mine that was used in Panama
Blue Heeler, great Australian cattle dog.
I really enjoy watching you guys pickup all kinds of cool junk. Keep up the great work and content men!!
LOVE the sound effects that were put in when the dog was playing fetch with the big stick! Made me laugh. That was awesome!
Next title… how I acquired a billion dollar country and became a king.
Bro bought up all of Scotland through established titles
Then you realize he’s just doing an ad for a phone game where you can build an empire
Guess you never heard of Utah?🤣
Sir
Lol
I work at major fencing company and we use those racks to hold raw aluminum or painted aluminum use plywood for walls and they work well .
Your supposed to run the water hose for awhile on the scrap pile just b4 you bring it in.... get it good and drenched 🤑🤑
1:25 bus shelter would work for an awesome school bus shelter with a couple modifications. Clear glass keeps the students safer
buy them, and transport them to your local school system
Everything you do fascinates me. All of you are amazing. Great job. 🌱💛
The cartoon sound effects were cracking me up!!! Nice work gentlemen! 👏
I can't wait to see the good he does with this unit!!! Bring it to a country that needs that shit!!
as long as that purifier is complete it's still worth upwards of $500k ... assuming it still runs .. them suckers dont fail easily ... wish I had the money for it that would be perfect for a place like cero gordo off grid making it's own water cleaning it's used water to grow more food etc ...
.
bring say 80,000 gallons worth of water storage upto cero gordo ... i 20k tanks then use 2 tanks for grey and black water ... cleaning and 2 for mass water storage and purification ... this way you can pup water from any river purify it and even clean your waste water for farming and top off your potable with easy access basic water
I'm so glad you made good money 💰💰💰. You deserve it all and more!!! God bless you!! Have a great day!!
You need a metal scrap compactor that you can make uniform cubes out of, stack and hold until scrap steel goes back up ( because you know it will). You could even mount one to a truck or trailer ( like you have tons of ) so you can compact on site and load cubes.
You’re welcome.
You boys are making me look bad I told my wife it would take me years to clear out my garage 😅
it helps if you have a fleet of trucks and a big excavator.
We had those reverse osmosis water makers offshore on our platforms and they turned the Gulf of Mexico water into fresh drinkable water. How we showered and what we used for laundry, dishes and all that.
We used em in Iraq and Kuwait too.
I like how how you guys alway quick cut out the most sketchy bits..... hello from Scotland.
Looks like y'all are taking good care of my MOST truck. I appreciate that!!
You got an INSANE deal on all of that stuff. Can't wait to see what you're able to sell all of that for. Probably enough to buy another helicopter. :)
That exact water purifier was sold as non-functional for $6,000 on Gov Planet in 2017. Neither engine was able to start.
@@DonOblivious yeah ok!!!lol
@@DonObliviousyou gotta spoil it! 🤨
I love your cattle pooch, Diesel Dave! ❤❤❤. Annie is so gorgeous..she thinks chasing sticks is her job 😊🐾 Can you please give her a 5-minute tummy scratch from me? Thank you! ❤ 🐾
God bless all of the crew & keep you safe XX
Bud looks much more healthy than the first time i seen him here. What ever he's been doing. He should keep doing. What ever he not doing any more is a good thing as well. Way to go Bud.
That new RV lifestyle can change a man
i commented years ago that if he stuck with energy drinks & nicotine, he would die younger than expected, we all need to start respecting our GI Tracts, without a healthy GI Tract, our immune system goes down and we start seeing signs of Deficiency [auto immune deficiency syndrome aka a i d s, that's right, a i d s has nothing to do with sex, it's about not looking after your GI Tract, ur guttyworks]
He's a goodin' boi
Good luck getting that scrap out of the end dump, y'all should of did a video how that went😂😂
You're going to need a bigger shop lol. Love the series and the editing process is great.
If you get just a few of those machines running you will make money and you'll find more employees to bring them to life.
Create jobs for your community and yourself.
you outa give two of those bus stops to Matt for his abandoned ranch build. do a collab with him and he can use them for shuttle stops at his ranch when he has a bunch of visitors
Diesel Dave cracks me up. Love the videos with the full crew. Great content guys, keep up the good work!
I love how you segue into the video sponsors, providing all the facts straightforward while making it entertaining. A lot of content creators could learn a thing or two from you!
I'm surprised you don't keep the generator for either your house or shop. As a backup power supply
Probably because they already have several, not his first but like this.
So nice that Uncle Sam is giving away cool stuff your taxes paid for. If anyone doesnt buy atleast a few HumVees from surplus a year they are wasting the tax dollars they paid :)
i hauled one from a company in Colorado Springs to a power plant in Wyoming. Their filter system in the power plant was down, and they needed to have 100% pure h20 being made into steam for the turbines to make power. Yeah i am sure it could desalinate sea water, but i would think the filters would have to be replaced often during the process.
Un gran día para ver a esta gente trabajar !
Si!
More dog segments, that was my favourite part, pit a big smile on my face
loved the cigarette pulls with the pliers 😂
I love diesel dave's dog lol. shes so cute she could have her own youtube channel filled with shorts!
Absolutely love the black on the rigs so sinister !!
ROWPU can filter any water to fully potable water, even swamp or sewage. Only limitation is filter clogging up on you, but it will generate 100% pure water. Great machines.
Y'all are always getting it done and making it look easy and fun in reality it's not easy but I think it can definitely be fun👊😁🙏🇺🇸😎
Next level editing.... I haven't laughed as hard.! The dog sequence was golden.
The sound effects were hilarious!
Hans seems to be more and more comfortable as semi truck driver.
This series was pretty kewl! Kudos to whoever edits these.
Hans stealing Bud's cigarette with a wrench was just soooooooo damn funny! 😂😂😂
You said that the M BENZ is junk. Well I worked in parts for MBENZ. The actual dealer. Those body body parts and anything else is definitely worth something. Lots of body shops love to buy OEM for dirt cheap. YOU BLEW IT DUDE
Smashing everything always solves my problems.
And, once again a DOG = the hero!
Much respect to Mr. Bud he is the glue that holds it all together
You're spot on about that trailer. Reverse osmosis is the process boats use for their 'water makers' which is a *very* scaled down principle of that trailer.
There’s definitely a joke here about how much overspending our government does
Yeah, I mean how does that end up in somebodies junkyard?
Blue Heeler good boy is the star!
