Guys, some opinions needed here. Should I switch to balanced output for all future reviews, or should I use the cable the IEM comes with because that's what you actually pay for? My DAP does measure better in balanced though, so sound impression would be morr accurate than SL. Let me know what you think!
Maybe adding a part of comparison between using the stock cable and balanced cable in the future review? not everyone will swap the cable but some may be interested in sound impression in balanced.
Holy shit that thing looks like a 220volt electricity cable. Probably could power an oven :). Do you know if for iems are any differences between 4-8-16 core cables? A little bit of search told me that its in most circumstances a placebo.
Never tried that cable before, sorry! But if they do state the AWG you can do some calculations for DC resistance and AC resistance to see how good they are. Lower resistance in audio cable is always better
@@EarphoneusFanaticus sure balanced output provides better sound - fuller one. Sure you have to use balanced cable to reach that sound. The point is - the difference between 2 different balanced(!) cables is negligeable given the contact is solid in both cases.

Been finding a good quality pure copper cable, I think I'll try Ares II+ with my VE Erlkönig and see how it goes.

Is the higher AWG is better?
Which is better this or dunu dw03 cable?

All that nonsense about wonders cables bring... PLACEBO IS A POWERFUL STUFF. The ONLY thing that matters is a SOLID CONTACT. The rest is BS...
This I agree to a large extent, but the thing is the balanced output on my DP-X1A does measure better, soo...lol
@@EarphoneusFanaticus
Yeah, 0,5% better - big deal! Congrats!!!
@@sergiymarchenko1002 ...Do you know anything about dynamic range, crosstalk, THD, noise floor, or DAP measutements in general?
@@EarphoneusFanaticus , yes.
