the Thai adaptation will be based on the Manga itself, not the Japanese live action adaptation. so the approach is entirely different to fit the Thai culture, beliefs.
When I heard that there's gonna be a Thai adaptation of Cherry Magic, I was skeptical and wasn't bothered much because I was so sure I wouldn't want to watch it, because I also consider the Japanese one already perfect. I also didn't know TayNew back then. But after watching this, I'm actually pleasantly surprised. I think it might capture the fluff and wholesomeness of the original but still adapting it to Thai style/culture as well. I also watched TayNew videos on yt (I haven't even watched any of their series 😂) and I fell in love with their dynamics instantly! Now I will definitely watch it when it comes out!
im to was excited and nervous as well but love taynew as well cuz of how much i love cherry magic the show an the movie hold such a dear place in my heart but im very excited to go on this journey with you !
Thai version adapted from Manga not series. And the Japanese version series is has some different from manga. And I think the Thai version should be different a lot because the characters are grow up in totally different cultures.
My first BL was Lovesick the series so the song in this pilot felt so nostalgic. Is this love by better weather 😊 the music in Lovesick was so good. I still need to watch the original Cherry Magic.
Tay and New are the best for these roles. Their chemistry is amazing. I'm waiting for it so much. Quick question, btw: Do You have on your list to watch "Fish Upon The Sky" ? I freaking love that series and I wanna watch it with you again. (Sorry if I make mistakes with My English)
I think most viewers who have watched the japan adaptation haven't read the manga, and 2020 or new gen bl fan. That's why you are doubting taynew's skills, lol. Better read the manga first before you judge. Its an adaptation of the manga, not remake. Do some research also😊

I know I made comparisons to the Japanese series, because that adaptation was done so well. But I don’t remember saying the Thai adaptation was being based on the Japanese adaptation instead of the manga 🤔🤔
@@TopherReacts You also didn't said it was the adaptation from the manga so bound to some ather changes than just cultural ones.. You compared to the Japanese series and said there is bound to be cultural differences. I don't know how else to comprehend it.
@@gia3561 yes, I compared the Japanese adaptation of the manga to this Thai adaptation of the manga and said there would probably be differences since it’s 2 different countries adapting the same source material. I didn’t explicitly say the Thai adaptation was based on the manga, since I never had to say the Japanese adaptation was based on the manga. I assumed that was implied

Taynew being Adachi and Kurosawa is just weird for me. Not one of them fit the role. It's like giving Sarawat (2gether) role to Gun Athapan, it won't translate well. But the cast for the second couple and the two co worker are SPOT ON.

An anime for Cherry Magic was also just announced this past week, so the fans will continue to be fed.
