You are right. IDOL was remixed using traditional Korean music cadence and instruments. This entire segment was a homage to their identity and came at a time when, due to their global success, their detractors were questioning whether they were still "Korean".

All 7 members always sing live with NO auto-tune. They trained and practiced for hours and years to strengthen and stabilize their voices and breathing. It is very hard to sing and dance the way they do. They worked very hard for it. Please don't discount all their hard work.

I am a 51 year old Army. I LOVE BTS and the positivity and love that BTS gives. My adult daughter and I (trying to show that Army is of many ages) went to see BTS in Las Vegas back in April 2022 and were FRONT ROW!! What an amazing experience it was! Seeing them in person was one of the greatest moments ever! They are just as fantastic in person. If you ever get a chance to see them, do it!
And you know? The most incredible thing about those performances is that that year they were sooooo tired that they thought of disbanding... Thank God, they decided to keep together because of Army. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

SUGA is a very good dancer but you won’t see him showcased. Jimin has a contemporary dance background not a ballet background although there are some similarities between the two. He and Taemin of SHINee are the best dancers in K-Pop. JHope’s background is street dance. He’s BTS’ dance captain. ‘Idol’ is amazing. It’s an African rhythm layered over Korean rhythms. Watch the mv, it’s a clap back at all the various things they have been accused of doing and don’t actually do. How SUGA managed to to the big arm movements with his injured shoulder. Jin and J-Hope have now been discharged from the army and are doing solo activities. They did the standard 18 months. The others will be discharged in a June 2025. SUGA will have served for 20 months as he is doing public service. He isn’t deemed fit to do actual military service because of his shoulder. He has had an operation but he still can’t move it as he should be able to.

Jin can hit very high notes, his new album that was just released proves that. The title track ‘running wild’ or any of the tracks will show off his beautiful high voice. When you said the high notes gotta be Jimin it was actually Jk. All of the vocalist can go extremely high, and they can all go very low some into a growl.
Glad you are getting further into them...I am sure you have probably read some of the comments by now, especially re auto tune. All I will add, and I say this with a good heart and not as any kind of slay on you at all, rewatch this [or indeed any live performance be it 1 song or 4+] and take close note of when they sing and when they don't for a few seconds - they don't use auto tune for their live singing or lip sync. BTS use auto tune in recordings and onstage to enhance something, add a different layer or texture [ like they layers on a cake etc] but certainly not to cover up anything. For many years that, [along with a whole bunch of other nonsense and rubbish ] was tossed at them [still is] - they are fiercely protective of their work, collectively and individually. This is their job and they take it very seriously - for themselves and their fans. BTS often skip words [yeah there is a backing track ] to show the anti's and haters 'yep, we are live guys, warts and all' The haters etc have put clips up of them trying to prove they can't sing etc - all of which are clips of a voice break or a bit of flat pitch [ something that all artists have in the archives of performances] so they are never perfect - but they are 100% honest and legit on stage. To hear how high the vocal line can sing, try and watch any of their Japanese performances - and for V watch Stigma, esp. live :) BORAHAE guys.

This MMA is particularly special because earlier 2018 BTS was about to disband they were so tired and overwhelmed by the successes they amassed at this point but jin held out and other members of the group and it showed that they made the right choice because they won so many grand prizes that year This was 2 yrs after they started to get really successful and a lot of people are attacking the group because people can't believe back then that a group from an unknown company could win any of the 4 grand prizes in MMA and MAMA. My adult daughter and I (trying to show that Army is of many ages) went to see BTS in Las Vegas back in April 2022 and were FRONT ROW!! What an amazing experience it was! Seeing them in person was one of the greatest moments ever! They are just as fantastic in person. If you ever get a chance to see them, do it!
And you know? The most incredible thing about those performances is that that year they were sooooo tired that they thought of disbanding... Thank God, they decided to keep together because of Army. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Ok I just need to say something and hopefully it won’t come across as rude 😅 I really enjoy your reactions and can tell that you all appreciate how amazing of a group BTS is. That being said, I feel like it’s time to stop putting “KPOP HATERS react…” in all of your video titles. It’s a really cheap way to get views and you guys clearly aren’t “haters” any more if you’ve watched this many videos and enjoyed all their music thus far. Jungkook is the main vocalist so he is the one with the most vocal parts and he is the centre lead dancer . He can go really high check out all his solos. Jin can also go really high . They don't use autotune on live performances. Try to focus on each member you will get to see who is singing. Jimin is really high too . All vocalist go really high.

for some reason you guys always forget that both jhope and jimin are the main dancers of bts. jhope is the dance leader and his extensive dance background and skill is why the other members consider him to be the best in the group. He is a big reason why bts performances are so well executed. The members joke that whenever the make a mistake on stage they look at whether jhope noticed or not. He is their dance leader and honestly even as a solo artist he is one of the best performers in the world right now, so incredibly talented. A lot of people overlook him because street dancing isn't "pretty" and the style has a history of not being taken seriously.

SUGA is a very good dancer but you won’t see him showcased. Jimin has a contemporary dance background not a ballet background although there are some similarities between the two. He and Taemin of SHINee are the best dancers in K-Pop. JHope’s background is street dance. He’s BTS’ dance captain. ‘Idol’ is amazing. It’s an African rhythm layered over Korean rhythms. Watch the mv, it’s a clap back at all the various things they have been accused of doing and don’t actually do. How SUGA managed to to the big arm movements with his injured shoulder. Jin and J-Hope have now been discharged from the army and are doing solo activities. They did the standard 18 months. The others will be discharged in a June 2025. SUGA will have served for 20 months as he is doing public service. He isn’t deemed fit to do actual military service because of his shoulder. He has had an operation but he still can’t move it as he should be able to.

Glad you are getting further into them...I am sure you have probably read some of the comments by now, especially re auto tune. All I will add, and I say this with a good heart and not as any kind of slay on you at all, rewatch this [or indeed any live performance be it 1 song or 4+] and take close note of when they sing and when they don't for a few seconds - they don't use auto tune for their live singing or lip sync. BTS use auto tune in recordings and onstage to enhance something, add a different layer or texture [ like they layers on a cake etc] but certainly not to cover up anything. For many years that, [along with a whole bunch of other nonsense and rubbish ] was tossed at them [still is] - they are fiercely protective of their work, collectively and individually. This is their job and they take it very seriously - for themselves and their fans. BTS often skip words [yeah there is a backing track ] to show the anti's and haters 'yep, we are live guys, warts and all' The haters etc have put clips up of them trying to prove they can't sing etc - all of which are clips of a voice break or a bit of flat pitch [ something that all artists have in the archives of performances] so they are never perfect - but they are 100% honest and legit on stage.
To hear how high the vocal line can sing, try and watch any of their Japanese performances - and for V watch Stigma, esp. live :)
