Kaimana mini vs CrossUp should you Mod it?

I being wanting to mod my fightstick with the Kaimana mini LED board. I purchased my kaimana mini when I was using my Razer Panthera fightstick but never got to mod it. When I found out hitboxarcade was comong out with the CrossUp I pre-order as soon as they open the pre-order to the public so I was one of the first batch to get it. Till last week I decided to Mod my XU with the Kaimana mini LED. The process was ok. Replaced seimitsu screw buttons for seimitsu snap in clear buttons. Mount the j2 LED and mounting the kaimana to my xu pcb board. After installing the files for the LED animation I found out some of my buttons weren’t working and the idle animation was not present. between me and one of the fellow from the CrossUp dev team we were able to fix the problem.
Note: as of right now the CrossUp is not compatible with Kaimana mini and some extra code need to be fix/add to the Kaimana in order to work

I’m kind of thinking of doing this to my hitbox lol… looks like a lot of work but man those LEDs look so crispy!

hey do u know if u can swap the lever with WASD? or if i can use the pcb to put my own extra buttons for movement?

Yes you can. As a matter of fact I had swapped my since that video. You may see it on my stream

So how do we go about getting the extra codes ?

Good morning and thank you for watching the video. I’m not sure about which extra code you are talking. If you have a CrossUp and need the code to fix it I can probably provide it to you. If you have a regular fightstick you can find the code by searching it on google. I cannot remember the link right now
