Idk just an idea tho
I was a season ticket holder at Juve when they got the book thrown at them, I’m not sure how similar this situation is with City but we’re still feeling the effects of it even today, despite winning nine Scudetto trophies in a row.
Yeah, but your country is no way near as corrupt as England. City will just keep throwing money to the best lawyers to drag this case on for years. And the Prem will accept every penny.
this two situations are not comparable. Different topicy. Also this was a scandal of the whole Serie A. I think Milan and other teams got also points reduction. Juve was just the head of the scandal. After that Serie A was not the best league anymore and was never the same after this scandal. This is why Juve still feels the effects. Whole Serie A still feels it
People scrutinise literally everything this club does as if the 'big six' aren't all swimming in controversy about their money and where it came from. That being said, if they are found to have done something that has given them unfair advantages, they deserve to go down for it. Like any other club should. Mourinho's quote about how Man City bought prospects and made them into big players is still something I cherish as a Chelsea fan, because he is right. And while people laugh at Chelsea for the big numbers the media have put on blast for two years... I can only hope to become that huge club that has grown young lads into trophy winning beasts over the course of 2-3 years. I respect Man City for their process over the last 15 odd years, it'd be a shame if it ends up tainted by actual bad practices.
I think being found not guilty for all 115 cases is possible. Many of the charges are very similar, essentially doing the same thing multiple times. City contest that what they were doing is legal. If they are right, a not guilty in the first instance will likely lead to repeated not guilties in all similar charges. I think they will get found not guilty for nearly all, if not all, charges. If they are found to have commited crimes (a lot of the charges have criminal activity alleged, actual crimes not just breaking the rules of a game), this puts some very important political people in an important allied country in the spotlight. This is bigger than football and a consequence of allowing states into the game

Liverpool winning the league would be the same thing as the last Chess Championship Match : the champion resigns, the runner-up gets a chance only to be beaten by someone unexpected...
Not gonna miss them to be dead honest. I knew from years ago there is no way in hell they could afford all those players without violating the FFP because their revenue cannot increase that rapidly. No matter what they accomplished, if they cheated to get that money to buy those players, their achievements are very hard to respect and personally, it never happened. I don't think enough people understand how serious this is, this is something that can potentially ruin the game of football itself and integrity of Premier League. The whole competition becomes polluted and no longer pure. Very strict measures need to happen so this can't happen again. If not, Man City now has legitimate revenue and income to buy big names now. Why should Everton or other clubs get punished while Man City walks away with a slap just because they didn't get caught or have better and more lawyers? I daresay this is similar to people getting away with tax evasion. We already have rich and powerful dodging taxes with all kinds of legal loopholes, while regular people pay taxes while struggling to put food on the table. Football cannot be like that, and needs to be sacred, an oasis away from absurdity of daily life.
I've been saying this but all I hear is cry and salty and stupid shit like that if city get away with this I mean even a little punishment like point deduction its not enough the league will be in serious trouble
They should be relegated like what happened to Juventus during the Calciopoli scandal. It’s necessary for the league to maintain integrity, even if it’ll take a hit initially they’ll bounce right back like Serie A
City had 4 years to buy players to build up the revenue add in the etihad money and yes the revenue is where it should be your just salty your box around city failed to hold up
The problem with this seasons "crisis" is a little bit different than the last two seasons in periods where we have struggled. The previous 2 seasons have more come down to issues with our rest defence or consistency with fitness, both of which had been remedied by in-house adjustments from pep. This time around, we are missing Rodri and have gone most of the season without KDB, Grealish, Ake, Stones. To make matters worse, we have an aging squad in a league that is clearly becoming more physical and some senior players have been severely out of form (bernardo, Foden, Walker). Pep is also opting for a more risky 3-1 rest defense, giving Kova too much room to cover and leading to us exacerbating our biggest weakness of conceding on counters. He has also elected to not play his traditional wingers of Savio and Doku, giving us a toothless attack with bernardo and Nunez happy to just cycle possession. Pep might have a solution but it we currently do not have an in-house fix for a lot of these problems. City needs a good transfer window in January or there will be no hope at winning the prem, let alone any trophies this season
People are reading into it too much. Just because he signed an extension doesn't mean City will be fine. The better question is... why only an extension? Why not a new contract?
the thing is as long as city have pep they’ll be fine, you can find them guilty of every charge and put them in the championship, its pep that the reason for city’s dominance and it wont stop till he leaves
Cuz he's gonna leave and city only want him to leave when they feel the squad is ready Rn the squad isn't ready for him to leave yet also there's an option for him to stay even longer as well if he wants
Nope. The game has already gone. If the club was under any real threat, Guardiola would not have extended his contract. Man City have become the premier leagues cash cow. The club and its owners will bleed money to keep it alive and the Premier League is more than happy to allow that to happen as long as they get paid. I hate to say it but its the truth. City are simply too big of a club to punish. People have bought into the success and commercialism of the club, we all joke how they have no fans, but in reality, they have the fastest growing fanbase in the world. Money talks and always wins. Just look at boxing. The premier league has sold itself. Give it 10 years. Saudi will own the premier league, with all of its rights and licensing. Derby's and cup finals will be played in Riyadh.
So true about Man City when they’re behind. I remember the year when we won the league and we were 20 points ahead of them and I still didn’t believe we’d win it.
Pep making football so tactical that his unlimited depth at man city can’t compare to the first teams of mid table prem teams or top teams in other leagues really is crazy
I actually wouldn't be surprised if Arne Slot has a role in encouraging Pep to stay. With Jurgen Klopp gone, so went the manager that's been the strongest challenger to his side and the type of team most likely to keep things interesting. Iron sharpens iron. But the way Liverpool are playing, and with other teams getting stronger in the league, it's clear we're in for future exciting seasons. As such, he may feel pressure to not fall off and institute the kind of rebuild that Klopp did before leaving. I also suspect that Pep isn't anticipating a punishment that removes City from top flight football. If they are punished, it will probably be with a massive fine and points deduction, but not automatic relegation. A points deduction for City may mean they miss out on a league title this season, but will be back easily competition next season. Personally, I hope they get sent to the bottom of the damn pyramid, but that's hoping for far too much.
I can see a world where city dodge all charges (especially after they won the kit sponsorship case) but I can also see a world where they are found guilty for 10-15 charges and just get a point deduction for this season, and by next season everyone has forgotten. Either way they succeed (painful to say as a United fan)
Extending the contract doesn’t always mean he will stay with the club. He could just walk out with a big paycheck if he doesn’t want to manage Man city anymore.
@ true but just can’t imagine him being happy to manage Man City if they get relegated. He probably would want to walk out and terminate the contract early
Manchester City are by far not the only club spending too much money. Not to mention that over the last 5-10 years Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all spent more than City. The only reason people cry about City spending money is because they are the only club doing it and being successful.
Those clubs (outside of Chelsea) actually generate the revenue to spend like that and don’t cook the books. City just like Chelsea used a crazy amount of money to buy their way to the top during a time where the current FFP rules didn’t exist. Thats what people are mad about, if Newcastle’s take over happened in 08 they would be right where City are.
Other big 6 teams never get punished for their violations. It's only Man City because the owner is from the middle east. The double standard is disgusting and politically motivated. People scream about oil money but are ok with American owners who are literally from a terrorist country (yes, USA is a terrorist country).
Man City will be fine on the 115 front but the main focus should be on where Pep goes next I say the national teams of Argentina, Brazil, France, or Saudi Arabia’s national team if they pay up
as a city fan while I think most charges for purely ffp will be dropped but I think a lot of lack of cooperation will be true...and tbh I don't mind them not wanting to cooperate an tbh like a lot of the charges are purely failure to cooperate and I don't see them getting relegated because of failure to cooperate
The bigger issue is what do other clubs do? people forget that these clubs are all businesses and at the end of the day money talks and if there is one thing you need to know about corporations is that they do not like to be cheated out of money, they legally can't turn a blind eye to it. You better believe that the lawsuits are locked and loaded against the league and city. This is what the league is really afraid of and if they get off on dodging grounds then get ready for a meltdown.
Sorry but all premier league teams signed a contract and as such cannot sue the premier league for money the most you can do is take them to tribunal over rules
With how much other clubs have been punished for minuscule infractions in comparison to city, I think a suitable punishment would be relegation to league 2
You should properly read into the charges before giving misinformation. It s not 115 seperate charges. it s 5 charges repeated throughout a 8 to 9 year period.
5 in a row is still happening, rival fans are going to have to deal with City titles until Pep decides the suffering will end. City will get a fine at most for the 115.
I think they get a points ban that prevents them from winning the league but enough to still get top four and potentially get a ban similar to Chelsea where they cant have transfer incomings and outgoings for a few years...and the premier league becomes a better product...no chance they get relegated that was never happening.
1) Lost 4 on the bounce, but still only 5pts back. 2) There is no way Pep Guardiola would have extended his contract without get-out clauses, unless the club already know the outcome and a decision on the best time for all parties to keep face has been agreed. 3) The only reason it all got this far was twisted and jealous rivals, clickbait and The Liverpool Echo
Man City will get a points deduction and mabye a fine tops, they make too much revenue and have too many fans across the world to be below the premier league. Yet teams like Everton and Nottingham forest which both have big histories, but aren’t as good now, will face the full force of ffp.
now hear me out: clubs should have a cost cap like formula 1. for example there are rules that a club con not spend more than 300 million a year on players transfer fees and salaries. breaching the cost cap will result in point deduction for the next season. more points are deducted the more you overspend.
Spare your breath, Man City will win the PL consecutive 5 times, just watch and see. You know what, the more you hate and be jealous of MC, the stronger we get. Sorry guys, rather wasting your time, improve yourself if you're to win anything.
Remember all the Scottish Premiership fans screaming for Glasgow Rangers to be destroyed so they could all get their mouths round the honey jar? THAT DIDN'T GO WELL did it.
Think people are under exaggerating the tough scenario they are in as ‘they have been in this place before’. Maximum points (81pts) is probably the exaggerated requirement (for the title). Unless they get relegated, which I will be here for 🥂
City consistently have had one of the smallest squads in the league for 3-4 years now Atleast. That’s a fact before you babies start crying. Look it up
The club foundations are built on deceit they need the book throwing at them and relegation ...... but it's man city so they will get away with a slap on the wrists while my team Liverpool and the other teams in the premiership stick to the rules YNWA
I think whats been frustrating for me as a city fan is the cycle of being accused by a governing entity (first fifa with the CAS case and now the premier league) and city's reputation being tarnished just for the club to prove their innocence, and for rival fans to not accept the results and say we got away with it because of "oil money". If the club is guilty, then they should be punished, but everything they have done since being accused by CAS and the prem indicates that they are expecting to prove beyond a resonable doubt that they are innocent, as they did with the CAS case. I have a feeling this will look very badly for the premier league, as the FFP rules put in place aren't consistently enforced and scrutinized
They didn't prove that they weren't guilty in the UEFA case... they won on appeal that the statute of limitations on the infractions had passed. in English, they argued that it was too late for UEFA to charge them since the cheating happened more than 5 years ago...
@@John-po9wzyes so city was innocent on all charges then the most city did was noncompliance witch uefa has leeked stuff about city before that so the club has every right to say no

@@theletsplayer4921 having a contract doesn't mean you can't sue.. are you high?
Indeed
It might mean they're innocent
Come on, Man City keep on dropping points keep and losing get kicked out the Premier League come on Manchester fall down
I have a feeling that there not gonna get charged
Doesn’t his new contract allow him to leave for free if they get relegated ?
No De Bruyne No Party
The 115 will prove once again, if you can afford it, you can get away with it
1) Lost 4 on the bounce, but still only 5pts back.
Sorry but that breaches uk law as we dont legaly allow cost caps
I think there used to be a maximum wage in football until around the 50s when it was removed
Man city after we lost 4 row and many RUclips are saying "man city is done"
Spare your breath, Man City will win the PL consecutive 5 times, just watch and see. You know what, the more you hate and be jealous of MC, the stronger we get. Sorry guys, rather wasting your time, improve yourself if you're to win anything.
They've only been in bad form for about a month and Pep signing a new contract is a sign that the case is going their way in my opinion
Aye I think they probably won't have that bad of a verdict if Pep is willing to sign a new deal
Did you just say city will be ok??
Remember all the Scottish Premiership fans screaming for Glasgow Rangers to be destroyed so they could all get their mouths round the honey jar?
THAT DIDN'T GO WELL did it.
Ooh a hienius crie losing four games in a row
If Man City doesn’t have heavy consequences, it’ll just show the corruption in the football and PL. especially with Everton being charged
F*ck it , 10 point deduction for Everton. 🔥🔥
City will be fine
I mean they are the greatest team the prem has ever seen. I watch league 2 so I'm not biased
Man City’s 116th charge is selling palmer when he just wanted to go out on loan
Even if we are relegated. I’ll still be there. Manchester is blue 🩵
Manchester will ALWAYS BE RED 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
Think people are under exaggerating the tough scenario they are in as ‘they have been in this place before’. Maximum points (81pts) is probably the exaggerated requirement (for the title). Unless they get relegated, which I will be here for 🥂
Do you think City will still win the Prem this year?
Nah its liverpools year YNWA
@@Vizeh probably not, unrealistic but it is Manchester City
Did dude get a colab with Luton?
109 charges are just failure to comply seems weird to me.
Here for the downfall
I think they’ll get a points deduction at minimum
City consistently have had one of the smallest squads in the league for 3-4 years now Atleast. That’s a fact before you babies start crying. Look it up
So much cope it's hilarious
they won't get anything worse than Chelsea got
Simply. i do not like GMO CLUBS. Only GMO club that earned my respect is Chelsea. All of other I despise.
Simpson-Pusey. Obviously an accident.
The club foundations are built on deceit they need the book throwing at them and relegation ...... but it's man city so they will get away with a slap on the wrists while my team Liverpool and the other teams in the premiership stick to the rules YNWA
hacking other clubs system and also racism against evra but such a great club . also literally killed so many people
Book em
Your wife leaving you for David Coote and its consequences
City aren't going anywhere
Wazzup
They either are innocent or have to pay 5 million pounds max and that is it. 😂
Hmmmm nahhh dedcut 10 points for Everton
@@John-po9wzyes so city was innocent on all charges then the most city did was noncompliance witch uefa has leeked stuff about city before that so the club has every right to say no
@@John-po9wzThat simply was not the final ruling, city had proved that all of Uefa's claims were false, with much of the "leaked" emails having been taken out of context or even spliced together to appear as though falsification had been happening when it wasn't. City provided millions of emails as evidence and in the end were only charged for failing to comply within a timeframe. I can link the ruling documents if you would like
Strange how using an army of lawyers to stall court proceedings until the SoL passes makes you look guilty, it's really quite unfair
Go support a real club and not a plastic one little kiddo🚮🤣🤣
400 views in 7 minutes. Vizeh fell off
:(
Sup
Its funny seeing everyone speculate pep walking out on city or city getting found guilty
That club has really hurt all of uou and honestly its not ending mow cuz im almost certian city wont get hit with a serious punishment and even if they get found guilty itll be for something soft
City are such a smart organization and these charges aren't just football its straight for fraud so itll implicate alot of people
The city board member that united decided to sign was literally in charges of the things city are being accused of lieing about,if city get found guilty hes also gonna be involved
I just dont see a reality where city end up in the championship or something like that, people just WANT city to be guilty cuz they know if city aren't they dont have any more excuses
I hate being an american man city fan life is so hard
Never been early... wazzzzzzzzuuupppp
Never going to pretend like I don't care about Man City, their success pisses me off and the utter smugness of their fans is detestable.
arsenal fans are worse
Liverpool who came back from a 3-0 aggregate with Salah injured 😂Does seem like cope, you can't depend on/blame everything on one player
To be fair it's not only on one players, injuries to even just KDB is a big loss too but they are too good we forget that
Thats not a fair representation, city are down like 5 first team players at the moment
You are talking about just one game. Another thing is a full season without rodri, and other players missing for weeks/months and after recover getting back their fitness
