Ive been inside so many times, its so dope
Question is what shell company came to do the concrete work once upon a time was probably Bechtel corp. Once that is determined and the company is confirmed to not have existed you have a lead but all those wont talk did talk and wont anymore, are waiting to or are just tired and ready to die , Idk but in the 80's a few dozen concrete trucks would have been noticed even if at 3 in the morning over however long they took to remove components and seal entrances.
Good video my friends
Thanks for visiting I appreciate your comment 👍
The last unit stationed at Montauk, was the 773rd Radar Sqdn, the AN/FPS-35 was a long range radar looking for any Russian aircraft...I was stationed there in 1968/69...Nice place...No MIND CONTROL!!!
it's a wonderful place
good video my friend👍
Thank you very much! I appreciate your comment👍
Wow, so beautiful place. Thanks for good sharing👍👍
Thank you too👍
thank you for sharing this informations.
My pleasure! It was a nice way to spend a day in the outdoors. Thanks for watching . I appreciate your comment 👍
just some fyi - this place was off-limits for many, many years. There was a gate with a sign that read "Lethal force is authorized." I find it comical that it's a park with signs now. Legend has it the bunkers may have been operational and might still be. A scientist determined that a humongous portion of the grounds have been excavated likely for the creation of an underground labyrinth.
Nice video 🌳🌳🌳
Thank you very much 👍
Amazing exploration. Alien 👽 space port.
Its a good time of year for tall tales, there have been UFO sightings in Montauk. Thanks for watching 👍
Lol the part he says . Think I'm gonna take their advice. Smart man
heard thats the a certain Montauk fishing permit is very hard to get is this for a certain part of the beach/shore?
If you'd like to camp and fish in the state parks at Montauk point there is a permit required and there are a few things that you need to have with you in order to qualify for a permit. Thank you for watching I appreciate your comment.
Looks like a good place to go fishing
It sure is, one of the best surfcasting locations, in the world. Thanks for watching .👍
Everybody gangsta till the lightning strikes the hologram bean thing on the building and suddenly all the beakteeth (my nickname for that one monster found on the beach and all its crazy variants made by the montauk project) run out
Great hike, thanks for showing us around, hope your mind wasn't controlled LOL
They can try, if my mom couldn't control me nobody can.👍 Thanks for watching
Frequency testing facility. The Water would have fed the Hydro Turbines underground which have been flooded out to prevent access.
Great walking tour with some historical perspective. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching
Your commentary was just perfect for this location. Loved it!!
Thank you so much, it's a very interesting place I would like to spend more than just a half a day walking around. I will be returning to Montauk shortly for an update, I appreciate you taking the time to leave such a nice comment.
Looks like a great hike! Thanks for sharing!
It was! Thanks for watching I appreciate your comment 👍
I know I shouldnt
but I'd break in to the buildings
The fact stranger things is based off of "The Montauk project" just gives me chills, Dr Brenner from stranger things looks so much alike someone from there, It's just scary
I knew very little about Camp Hero when I turned into the driveway, but one things for sure it does give you an eerie feeling, walking around the grounds. I only spent a few hours there, I hope to return and give it a proper visit, maybe even camp out there, thank you so much for watching, I appreciate your comment.
It really is
Maybe dr Brenner is a person from there
He’s probs old enough
Fr
They probably made him look like that on purpose
Love all the jokes man awesome video
A lot of history there. lol bathroom sink. Tick City,I would agree by that bunker. Hope your stake was good.
Camp Hero has an interesting history for sure. The steak was delicious , thanks for watching 👍
The proof you need is under Beltsville MD. Starting from the National Agricultural Research Center and continuing many many miles underground. Complete with presidential entrance below powdermill rd. Bridge over highway, By the powerlines . Many entrances that have been built upon with homes. I know where they used to be . Tunnels so big you can stand up and walk them . I know I've been in them. They also used lsd on people dying of cancer and for some reason they all had the same trip. There's an old military base beneath ground on the National Agricultural Research Center property. Now go do your research. That's where youl find more proof of tge Montaulk experiments... they think it's been forgotten there.
Thanks for watching I appreciate your comment
Love to see a well-done video! New fan here!
Awesome! Thank you! and welcome 👍
Very cool your around Camp Hero State Park. Cool to see the remnants of the old base. Fantastic location right there on the beach. Cool to see you on California Travel Video's live earlier tonight and then your video popped up on our big screen TV. Very cool!
Thanks, Camp hero was a great place to explore, I haven't been spending as much time on the livestreams lately . It was a good one. Thanks for watching 👍
That was a fun walk around 😀 like the old building and of course the ocean views 😎
Thanks for watching Its a really cool place to explore. I appreciate your comment 👍
Nice to see some of the history behind this place
Old military bases are fascinating.
Lots of great history at Camp Hero, Thanks for watching 👍
The audio interference at 28:34 was perfect timing, seeing as you were postulating on the possible visitor space port. 😆
Al Bielik talks about this place quite a bit. I happen to believe everything he says. No way someone can tell that big a lie that many times and not scew the story up.
Thanks for watching I appreciate your comment
What an interesting and great park with a lot of history. Excellent video and thank you for sharing🙂👍
Glad you enjoyed it, Thanks for watching 👍
You find some unique places John, great info on the hike also
This one was a real good one, I'm hoping to go fishing out there soon, the water was too warm for striped bass when I was there. Tuna are running off the east coast this week. I'll be back in the mountains when the latest storm leaves the NE. Thanks for watching 👍
I wonder what thy hiding inside
There's a lot going on at Camp hero, a great place to spend the day. Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate your comment
@@JCharlesoutdoors There is a way on top if you climb up the ladder it leads to diffrent tunnles I believe an it brings u back to the other side of the building I wanna say far as videos i seen. But they deffenlty hiring somthing in there they blocked the tunnles were they did the mind control and other dhit down there its coverd with cement but that can always be broke if someone really want to see what's down there like i do there somthing there I know it CIA is fucked up and twisted always wanna open up portals and release somthing 🤦♀️
I wonder what the circular spots were for.
Thank you for watching, great question. I've been told that the circles were used for launching drones during AAA (anti aircraft artillery ) target practice during the Air Force base years, off the coast of Camp Hero. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.
I like the mind control theory. Prostituted!! LOL. Interesting camp ruins. The military base had a great location. Looks like the forest has taken the base back over.
Prime location no doubt, many developers would love to make a resort or high end homes out of it, if given the chance. Thanks for watching I appreciate your comment 👍
Some really great camera shots! Great video!
Its hard to go wrong with such beautiful subject matter, Montauk is an amazing place with some of the best ocean vistas I've ever seen. I have only scratched the surface of the possibilities Montauk has to offer. Next season I have to try fishing out there, its supposed to be world class. Thanks for watching. I appreciate your comment 👍
Wow… who knew stranger things was partially/somewhat inspired by this “Montauk project” and Wikipedia actually, straight-up says stranger things was inspired by this too. And the fact that stranger things was originally supposed to take place in MONTAUK… is scary. Also there’s an episode of stranger things that’s literally titled “the Nina project” which sounds very similar to “the Montauk project” don’t know if the creators of stranger things confirmed all this to be true, but man… I’m telling you, I could go on FOREVER. The similarities…
Such a great video, so chill, some history, very well explained, good footage, and some humor too, nice music too!
A lot of sad things happen at camp hero, it doesn't mean we still can have some fun. It's an amazing place with beautiful views and a lot of interesting history that we should all remember. I'm so happy that you enjoyed watching as much as I did in creating the video. Thank you so much for watching have a great weekend👍

Thanks for sharing bc as a young girl I was in those facilities and they were taking my blood and there were other children as well . Again thanks 👍
Just thinking about the history behind that bunker makes this a great video! Nice area to tour when you have things to discover!
Thanks, it a great place to discover historians enjoy natural beauty. 👍
What a beautiful place!! I love how blue the skys are!!
The sky is so blue because we are so far out in the North Atlantic, the city pollution has no effect on the color. Thanks for watching 👍
This is awesome! I love this type of exploring. I just found out about Montauk and have been looking at all the trails and random stuff on Google maps. I was wondering about the big circle!
I grew up on the east end of Long Island (north fork) we love going to ‘Montauk and learning it’s history. You brought me back home for 30mins with the landscape and your Commentary and your awesome New York accent. 😀
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, thank you so much for your comment. Montauk is a beautiful place, as well as the whole East End. We will be camping on Fire Island soon. Thank you for watching🏕
I swear I had a dream about me going here and exploring and going inside a kinda like prison sell but also like a bunker and they locked me in there and like there was a lot of banging and screams but then I found a way out I’m not joking
Do a tour of Tj's hero shop
Very interesting. Seems like there's a lot of history there. Love the views from all the cliffs. Lynn and Danny
The views are amazing any time of day , but the sunrise was awesome . I really enjoyed exploring Camp hero. Thanks for watching , I appreciate your comment. 👍
What a great place to explore. Fishing, hiking and historical artifacts to investigate. Really nice job.
Yes indeed, I will be going back to Montauk , I would love to take a deep sea fishing charter sometime, and try surfcasting from the point. The water was too warm for striped bass when I was there. Thanks for watching . I appreciate your comment 👍
I missed this one somehow so watching it now. It’s a great place to explore John👍🏻 Those cliffs at the beach we’re amazing
It's a very interesting place, loaded with history you'd love it. Not to mention the world class fishing. Thanks for watching🎣👍
this was the place that inspired stranger things
Crazy history at the camp! Tho very interesting 💜super cool walk around with the history tour. Be careful where you walk there, don’t step on any live artillery’! Or fall victim to anal probes😂😂😂 the batteries are super cool and the bunkers💜
Its a cool place to visit and explore, the history lesson was free with admission, I was looking but couldn't find any aliens. lol. 👍
Abandoned stuff is always fun to see. Ah nice bit of history with this area. You always seem very thorough with your info. And I'm over here in videos all like "I think", "I read but don't remember", "I'll try to remember to look it up later and put it in the description" or "pause if you would like to read the sign" LOL
Pause to read is the best way, especially if the info is a bit boring. I was reading from a brochure and the signs at the different points of interest . I should do more research before I film, but mostly I just wing it, it sounds more natural that way. I wind up having to edit myself when I fact check my info. lol. I remembered a history Channel show about the spies on the east end of Long Island. Thanks for watching 👍
Only conspiracy is they made it one. There's released documents about this place and other stuff go visit the blackvault
Exciting John I love a good conspiracy theory! The radar tower was wonderful. Lots of intriguing atmosphere and agree 1982 was a good time. I'm going to look up any old information I can find. I think the bad spelling was a ruse 🤣. No trees brrr..rr.r I suppose they interfered with mental telepathy. All very brutalist, concrete etc. salt water/air eats it here. You did great John and my watch said half an hour. 🤨
The 80s were some good times, Camp Hero was a great place to explore Thanks for watching 👍
Me living in New York: …
Awesome Video! I love this place hence the name. I am writing the extended military history of Camp Hero, and the inner fence was the Montauk Air Force Station, and before WW2 the area was used for underwater minefields and was a seaplane base. There was also a major Navy base or Two in town as well as Camp Wikoff, an internment Camp for sick soldiers returning from the first foreign war in 1898. There were even Native American stockade forts and villages nearby. Anyways your right - this place has a lot to see to say the least. I wanted to let you know the large circle structure was for launching some of the very first drones, that would be used as target practice for the AntAircraft guns 1951-1957. Excellent video! Thumbs up
Thank you very much for the great information about Camp Hero, I enjoyed my trip to Montauk last summer, and look forward to returning this season. There's so much more to see. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment, I hope you have a great weekend. 👍
@@JCharlesoutdoors Likewise! We Enjoyed your video as well. I think it's great that people who can't get out there, can still experience the location through exploration videos like this. I totally understand the feeling of wanting to get back there. We are always Drawn to Montauk and we try to get out there whenever possible, and we have a list of spots at Camp Hero that we want to return to, or visit or the first time. There is always something interesting & new - Montauk never lets us down. I look forward to checking out more videos here on your channel. Keep up the great work & Enjoy the weekend!
What a amazing place to explore ! So much history and beauty there. Enjoyed much. Thanks for taking us along 😊
Thanks , its a great spot to explore, not to mention the fishing I appreciate your comment 👍
