Este Game é Lindão no PSX até pros Dias de Hoje, pois envelheceu muito Bem!
On of my favorite underrated games.
The wii version looks fantastic, I've only ever played the ps1 release, but just seeing it on the wii now makes me want to check it out.
And if you don't like the characters speaking proper English than you can change it to the original in universe language in the options menu
Well I hope you didn't go looking for an expensive wii copy because now it's being remade again for all platforms
@@nateoscar2950 He can search for a WBFS on the Internet, impossible to not be a Klonoa WBFS.
I love both! My favorite design of Klonoa comes from the Volleyball and Game Boy Advance games (Which is available in the remake actually). I just dont like Klonoa's english VA not because its in english, but because he sounds too mature/old. It doesn't fit Klonoa's image. I think it would have been better to get a woman voice for Klonoa in english that way he would sound more fitting.
If Crash Bandicoot could return with a new game, so can Klonoa.
I bet you were very happy with today's news.
In Wii Remake He Looks Like A Sonic The Hedgehog Character
He's looked like that since Klonoa 2 where his design got changed. Aside from big eyes, I don't really see anything Sonic like
I never bought the Wii version despite the PS1 version being my favorite 2D platformer.
This is my first exposure to the Wii version. I dodged a bullet. The generic RPG voice acting takes all the charm out of the original.
There is an option to play with the original voice acting
The Wii version has the option for original voice acting or the modern English voice acting.
I like the Wii version. I just need to buy a Wii and the game first.
Klonoa for Wii is a remaster??? I never know this!
It is a remake. Basically, a remaster is the same game with upgraded or different assets (graphics and/or sound) while retaining the same engine and models.
Um dos melhores jogos da minha infância, eu gravava os gameplays no VHS pra mostrar ao meu amigo da escola como vencer cada boss.
Como dizem por aí, "Playstation all the way".

The PS1 version is much more colorful
The original has better art and cinematic direction.
Sure, keep telling yourself that. snicker
Indeed, i prefer the pixeled Klonoa
I played both, looks funtastic. I hate the new humanoid voice acting from wii, it seems loosing new charm and cuteness, but thanks GOD we can switch to the OG version.
The cutscenes are way more expressive in the ps version.
I never realized how much more washed out the colors were on the Wii version. Like it still doesn't look bad, but it's definitely one of those games were it could've have better saturation. I'm not too big of a fan of the English dub because the original Phantomilian was odd gibberish that worked with the game's odd setting. It's still a solid remake despite those flaws, controls are on point and level design's basically identical, but it's missing some of the cool visual flare the ps1 original had, like the type-writer for putting in your name.
well I can't really help you out with most of the issues with the Wii version but if you go to the options menu you can change the way the characters speak. You can choose between Phantomillian and English
@@cyclops8238 Thanks, but yeah I'm aware. I changed it on instinct as soon as I was able to get this game lol. The channel didn't change it to Phantomilian, probably because it's basically the exact same audio as the ps1 version. That wouldn't make for a very good comparison audio wise.
Aside from the remake being in 3D and in 16:9 widescreen it is quite similar to the original game.
0:55 intro
PlayStation 100% choro e livre nintendo PlayStation Wins \ O /
Essa dublagem em inglês estragou o jogo.
E visualmente, ainda prefiro a versão do PS1.
Why on the wii klonoa sounds like chip from sonic unleashed
PlayStation Wins
Playstation wins
The ps1 fmv cgi intro scene looks better than the Wii intro/ gameplay graphics.
But obviously Wii has more advanced gameplay graphics than ps1 and all around higher resolution.
Edit: it takes a PS4 or 5 to do graphics as well as the old 32bit full rendered screenplays. Like this, Tekken 3, and Final Fantasy 8. Those cutscenes are nearly as strong as gameplay graphics today.
PS1 version preferable for me...
Ainda prefiro a versão do PSX ^^
Playstation trailer and voice is better but
Wii game graphics much better
Wii remastered
The English voice when saying “wahoo” is blasphemy.
The Wii is a downgrade, don't play it. Play the original.
I've played both and enjoyed both :)
@@david-jonballinger6638 That’s cool
In what delusional fantasy world is the Wii version a downgrade. I've played it. It's better in every way. Stop kidding yourself. Namco did a fantastic job on the remake.
@@davidaitken8503 it's just their opinions dude chill. A lot of people greew up with the original and have a lot of nostalgia for it. Not to mention is a really charming game: the sprites are cute, the areas are designed well, each area is vibrant and brightly coloured and the characters are the cutest with funny little voices. I love both but I noticed the colours throughout the game are toned down and more dull, people weren't a fan of the new dub voice acting available and some og fans didn't like that Klonoa's design was changed.
Both games are great in their own way..played both recently and they both hold up and have different strengths to each other.
@@davidaitken8503 I just feel as if, its a downgrade from the original. The models in Klonoa Wii look horrible, definitely Huepow, and Klonoa. They aren't given any exaggerated emotions, instead they are giving these half-ass expressions that help nothing. The voice acting is horrible, yes you can change it, but that doesn't make the fact that they ruined the whole atmosphere of the original. I find it dumb that you unlock costumes in Klonoa Wii after you 100% the game, whats the point of going back in. The cutscenes in Klonoa Wii are horrible, how did the PS1 beat a game on the Wii, like at the ending of Klonoa Wii where Klonoa is being dragged out of phantomile, it isn't giving the perspectives, nor is it given the expression, and atmosphere it needed, I didn't even cry at the end of Klonoa Wii, I was happy to finally get off that game. I will give it this, the graphics in the levels are great.
The wii version looks like utter dogshit. It stripped out all of the color, vibrancy and character from the originals visuals. I have no idea what you are all smoking.

Playstation colors were nicer.
