I met the guy. He even complimented (and played) my 68' supraphonic. Hard to imagine he would be equally as nice a person as he is a godlike drummer. He's a total sweetheart. Absolutely funny and inspirational legend right there! And he's got that jazz coolness to him.

It’s wonderful to see a master play. Poetry in motion may be an old phrase but so appropriate here. It gives me inspiration to play but honestly I could practice from here to the second coming and never come close to Peters musicality and feel.

As much as I love Gadd and I know it’s not a competition, I always thought Peter had a better touch and feel. I was lucky enough to see him with WR and Jaco. He put the signature down on a couple of the Steps tracks too copied by Steve Smith etc.
