Today, we will learn how to ask those questions we would ask as a child countless times. And if you watch this video to the end, you'll know the names of 94 objects in your house. 📌Part 1- 이, 그, 저
1. "what's this?"- "이게 뭐예요?"
"이게" is short for "이것+이". Literally, it translates to "this thing" In Korean,
this is called "이' and this '이' can be used only in front of a noun as an adjective, but not alone. '이것이' is often found in textbooks and documents, but in real conversation, '이게' is often used. "이게 뭐예요?“
2. "what's that?"- "저게 뭐예요?"
In this sentence, "저게" is also the abbreviation for '저것이'
'저' means 'that' and '거' mean 'things'. '이' is one of the subject particles. If you ask 'What is that?' it is, of course, referring to something far away. So "What's th~~~~~~at?" becomes "저~~~게 뭐예요?“
3. '그' is translated into 'that' in English like '저', but it has different meanings. We can point our fingers at what we can see and say, "저게 뭐예요?" But '그것' can be said even if we can't see it. For example, "Love? What's that?" is "사랑? 그게 뭐예요?” and "Like a man? What's that?" becomes "남자답게? 그게 뭐예요?" Even '그것' can mean something that exists only as a concept in a conversation and cannot be seen at that moment. Here is an example:
"Australian eat vegemite on toast"
"Vegemite? What's that?" = "베지마이트? 그게 뭐예요?“

It is how my mother taught me Korean words in the house when I was young. ^^ 화이팅!!!
I've been putting sticky notes all around my apartment. Sometimes I remember words pretty quickly but other times the new words just keep slipping out of my brain forever. Like why could I remember 침대 very quickly but I still keep forgetting the word for refrigerator? Hmmm...
I think we're all going through the same process. I remember the difficult word 'vulnerable' very quickly, but I always forget 'scissors.' ^0^

This sentence appears to have added adverbs to the basic sentence 'Danie raises the table(단이가 밥상을 든다)' + '달그락(clattering)'. So I think the correct translation is 'Danie raises the table clatteringly'.

Are these all formal or informal ? Or are they neither
In general, it is the ending of a verb that determines formal and informal. Formal form end with '-ㅂ니다' like '습니다, 입니다'. The informal ending is divided into polite and casual, and I used the polite ending '이에요/예요.' This ending is the most commonly used on RUclips and everyday life.
